Ah well. Now if someone would bring up to date all of those DOS favorites from 2 decades ago without having to get DOS emulators.
    4. Shadowknight
It was ages ago, but the deal with Apple still applies even now.
    5. Shadowknight
I got hooked on Apple via the Apple II-C, so did my best bud. After about 1990-93 that all changed with the Pentium PCs. We both looked at cost/benefit, and realized that Apple had become a niche marketer. We were not part of that niche. heh

Maybe if I had worked on programming and graphics way back when, then I might have been part of the niche. *snickers*

Also the fact that the damned Macs were just too expensive for what you got was a real factor as well. Funny thing is that Apple still does this, and I'd rather not waste good money on mediocrity.

I'm not planning to get a rebuilt anything. As for Apple, it was best during the II-C days.

I think that is partly why I never bothered with a laptop. Too many people telling their horror stories about how the laptops never lived up to their potential. heh
    8. Shadowknight
I've been kinda lucky in having comps that just soldier on.
    9. Wisky-08
      Then good luck Major.
    10. Wisky-08
      Still I love it.
    11. Wisky-08
      Alright I'm back...

Sounds good. I respect your judgment on this matter.
    12. Wisky-08
Hold on just got my mind blown away after reading a story, and my eyes filled with happy tears.

      Mammoth Mark II Walker...

      Its so beautiful.
    13. Wisky-08
That's the point. Might as well use them, or bulf them into holding back on a direct assault as they want to get alive I take it. From this?

I can get the cannons firing but...

It will only be one volley. There not ready, and the internal barrel of the weapion, and the firing system will be destroyed, but that's all I need. Is just one shot.
    15. Wisky-08
Intelligence confirms by any guess were out number at least 15 or 20 to 1.

Whats are fleet position, as well as location for all Earth bases, infrastructure, and civilian settlements in the Sol system?

By the way what about the ten so called Super Cannons in orbit designed to support the fleet with long range anti ship fire? The ODP's Midway, and Alamo are lining up orbital cannons for firing, and launching additional fighters to assist.
    16. Wisky-08
Sorry what I mean were will the missiles mainly launch from.

By the way I need Earth vessel numbers, and were they are and spread at yesterday commander.
    17. Wisky-08
Alright any Mass Drivers that give them a edge in planetary bombardment, besides the atmosphere depletion devices on those Mothership size DMD's mobile launch platforms they have?
    18. Shadowknight
The good thing was that the comp lasted 5-6 years or so.
    19. Shadowknight
Those things happen. I had a comp meltdown last year, and was without for several months. I understand all too well. :)
    20. Wisky-08
What do you have for me? 500 or 1,000 ships attack Sol from all sides?
    21. Shadowknight
Welcome back to SB in Star Wars. Now you need to catch up to the rest of us. Just had a 1 year time skip.
    22. Hillbilly12
Hey if you didn't notice I gave up my GM position on the SGA thread because it was exhausting and Gothic has accepted the position. He made a new thread so we can start over.
    23. Wisky-08
      you play Ace Combat?
    24. Wisky-08
      You alright?
