Oh, and I'm not sure if you knew this but the US military never actually fought the Soviet Union. The cold war might have been an excuse to keep a large military force, but the cold war is over. It's been over for a really long while now. They're not military, are they? The answer is no, they're law enforcement. What would have stopped it before then?
