Birthday was at Sakuracon, last day of the con, got -smashed flat- on some really good Sake after it ended, and also won Halo:ODST from the X-Box Game Room. Funny enough...I don't own a 360 yet. Guess I'll need to. Also, I discovered BlazBlu (V -13- is one f'ing hot chick, and while a 'boss' is by NO means unbeatable considering I got my head handed to me by a Ragna player for 16 straight matches at the free Con arcade) which now makes it two excuses for me to get a 360.

One of the major issues that the tank development team from LPF and the other competitors is the engine. I've crunched the numbers and it doesn't look good. To get a similar speed to say, a Leopard 2, would require a huge amount of horsepower, 2000+. The engines would require a great deal of power for a very small space. Traditionally, tank engines are not very sophisticated and are modified from civilian motors. To try and find a comparison to what is required, I looked at aviation engines. The relation between aerospace producers and the aviation engine manufacturers seems to reflect what would be taking place in Btech earth.

In the aerospace industry, the two companies work hand in hand along the development of both the engine and the vehicle, working to design something that can be mass produced and will fit inside the vehicle with the needed power. A line or to about General Electrics co-operation with the various competitors like General Dynamics, LPF, Cadillac-Gage, and General Motors would be appreciated. PM me if you need more info. Barricade, I'd like to know if you could slip a word into you story segment about how GE is working with military contractors to try and design Fusion engines for military vehicles? In one of my upcoming rolling thunder bits, I'll be mentioning something along those lines and it would dovetail rather nicely.
