      Ah yes : Solo Command
"Like a younger sea mammal sidling up beneath its mother, Mon Karren moved up below Mon Remonda, moving into the sea of turbolaser fire with her sister ship, her back to the larger vessel's belly."
    15. Obi Juan Kenobi
The only reference I've seen to a MC85 since is http://starwars-exodus.wikia.com/wiki/MC85_Command_Cruiser

But yeah. The difference between a MC80a and a MC80b shouldn't be so great that a MC80a is slightly weaker then an Imperial Star Destroyer and a MC80b can tangle with an Executor.
That's a huge gap, considering the designation. I mean look at the ISD mk. 1 & 2
If one the two suddenly boasts 3-4 times the firepower why wouldn't you just call it a diff ship? (IMHO)
    16. Obi Juan Kenobi
Btw it's easier if you comment in the conversation thingie ;)
Then I know if you said anything :p
    17. Obi Juan Kenobi
Yeah, Home One was far too large to be a MC80. It's wider, longer, thicker and more massive.

I recall it was once called an MC-85 but haven't seen that designation in a while.

As for the Mon Remonda yeah, the EU places it as a MC80b, even though the books clearly states it's far superior to the two MC80a's that were with it vs the Iron Fist.

It seems to be alot more like a Mc90.
    18. Chris O'Farrell
I like to think of it like an MC-90, perhaps the first prototype. But OFFICALY in the EU, its an MC-80-B, an enhanced version of the MC-80.

Of course the EU is also completly wrong about the Mon-Cals as ROTJ shows the MC-80s of which Home One is apparently part of the same class, are not 1.2 klicks, but much larger, closer to 4 klicks so take their stats with a grain of salt :p

I do like the 3.8 or so length because it would suggest they are more powerful then ISDs by a fair margin, hence why a few of them were able to hold off a much larger fleet, and when combining their firepower on a single target, really threaten even the Executor.
    19. Obi Juan Kenobi
Question, the Mon Remonda was supposed to be a MC80b right? Except for the fact that it was dueling with an Executor Star Destroyer, any reason to believe it could be a Mc90?

It doesn't seem that much inferior to the Galactic Voyager.
    20. Wisky-08
Been along time, and i have a question what if the Battlestars Galactica or Pegasus or both vs a (Halo) Covenant CCS-class Battlecruisers.
    21. Chris O'Farrell
Yes I did, and it was taken down years ago :)
    22. Sith

I, the Baron of Strang, care not for your new names. Clans? Jade Falcons? I call you by your true name: Scum of the Star League, traitors of free will, persecutors of the Periphery come back to lord it over freedom-loving people. Come ahead, you steel-eyed robots! Come ahead and taste what a million like-minded people think of you and your damn Clans."
