Hey man, you should get your post in. Gray's building up steam and getting things going again. All eyes are on you this turn since you're the guy with the big mission this turn. Not to mention we're all amused with the possibility some of my men might end up taking a wrong turn in the tunnel system due to a bad dice roll and end up popping up in Hassan's base in the middle of the big battle. :p

I didn't chose to ignore them when I made a Shadowrun mage he said it had to be like on of the sample characters in the core book that meant 400BP I made a mage like so. That was apparently entirely overpowered... a Starter PC from shadowrun?!?

He said that the game mechanics messed with a story RP and to do something else I made a jedi and he turns those powers into game mechanics so yes that is how I act, I explain why I'm dropping out and wish everyone else well in the game. Please don't waste my time by acting as if I did wrong here.

Damar, am i approved to switch my powers to water manipulation from water form change? I'd be losing my nigh-indestructibility and the mist ability yes?

I just remembered that question you asked in the war movies thread about whether there were any other movies that depicted the Battle of Hurtgen Forest. To date, I haven't seen any other than When Trumpets Fade. That was simply an epic masterpiece, the way it depicted a bloody battle that got overshadowed in notoriety by a bigger battle, and the best part was that it was quite pointless.

Thinking a possible story is something along the lines of:

Hobbit community there.

Orcs find, quickly take control.

Hobbits, predominantly, compliant to let the Orcs take what they want in return for not winding up on their ships.

Some point, Hobbit pushed too far and breaks a particularly impressive bottle over an Orc's head.

Town sparks into a brawl, wherein the Hobbits - still sober and very irate at treatment - drive off a now predominantly drunken Orcs. If attack by land, Hobbits claim several of the draft animals for themselves, and at some point manage to capture the raid leader and imprison him / her with other Orcs disabled. If lead by boat, possibly a few boats burned down.

Relatively minor losses to the Orcs, but the fact that they returned pretty much empty handed and lost anything in the first place to a Hobbit village was telling.

Historically for the Fantasy SD, would you say there was any notable conflict between the Clan and Lárëans? Or, instead, any notable interaction? I imagined that the town Hardbottle was a scene wherein things are kept somewhat neutral between the two factions, Hobbits occasionally trading north to the Clan in turn for continued Clan neutrality and the occasional goods swap now and then (Ex: Ales, Orcish Short-Swords, northern meats, etcetera).

Well we can discuss it there I guess.
