Just thought I'd remind you that I'm willing to assist in writing out in the "Grand Earth Experiment" when it comes to the anime side of things.

Well simple. Who would fall over himself to help "the great Harry Potter's future missus" and has access to everyone's food? And probably some decent brewing skills after his time at Malfoy Mansion making this potion and that to heal Lucius after Death Eater meetings? Dobby. And he's willing to break Harry's bones to 'protect' him. All Ginny has to do is frame things the right way and he'll do all her dirty work for him.

I might need to run IP checks on that when I get home. BTW, I had a revelation as to how to do the Ginny plot for Cliché Stew without resorting to Potions Mistress Ginny and all. It was so simple, I can't believe I never thought of it before.

Wives. Almost done with the obligatory "Harry meets his Reaper" part that sets up the story. I had like, 8k written and realized... holy fuck, who's gonna wanna read 8k just as a prologue to a fic? So I trimmed it down a whole bunch.

I was in the early pages before I figured out that it's worthless. There are several mods and even a supermod talking, but there's no sign anything will happen. It's all up to the admin, and none of them have poked their head in.

He tweeted me to point out that Googling me brought up autocompletes of 'fanfiction' and 'idiot' as first and second. The second being deceptive; the first result if you hit enter on it is a thread on this site where someone is telling people to put me into Google's autocomplete (so it's a feedback loop driven by SB's popularity) while the other hits are stories of mine with the word 'idiot' in the dialogue.

First Google autocomplete for 'foamy': 'urine'.

Second: 'rant'.

Third: 'stools'.

In Google, truth.

Yeah, and that's only Chapter 1. When I get done with all the scenes (you can see some have just the card icon and some have a page icon; the former haven't even been started yet), I just create a new folder and a new set of cards to outline Chapter 2 and move on.

And along the side, you can see that I have character cards for pretty much everyone...

It makes plotting brilliant. You basically use a folder for each chapter, then a card for each scene (to write out basic descriptions) then you can go into the scene card, write the scene out, and drag them around if you wanna move stuff. And it lets you store character and location info too.

Wouldn't know; I'm on a Mac. If the program is even half as good, though, it's better than anything I've found after two years of looking.

Should check out Scrivener. Great way to keep your shit organized, and you can even set a overall word goal and target date so it'll nag you to write. I tell it 60k by August 31, it figures out I have 104 days left as of today and that I need to write 527 words today to keep on track.

Suppose it'll depend on the PoV. Like when T'Pol is speaking/hearing Vulcan, yes to translations. Same with her yeoman, who speaks it. Adama or Roslin, on the other hand? Just Vulcan.

True. For the Vulcan-impaired, the bit translates to "This is the Starship Intrepid. Its mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before…"

But no, the scene is that she (the kid) appears in a tiny replica of the outfit T'Pol wore in her first appearance at the start of 'Broken Bow' and delivers comments at the end of the launch speech in the same vein as those before Enterprise launched: "Nam-tor t'Yel-Hali Intrepid. Skrol t'ish-veh: paglayaret flekh-uzh-panular, psau ha'kiv heh uzh-sutenivayalar, vakh hal-tor wilat ri sasu fa ki'hal-tor…" So it would work well with either a halfsy child or a fully human child of Archer's who admires her "Aunt T'Pol".

Ugh. But yeah, right now I'm pondering 22nd century morality. Like would a theoretical Mrs. Archer be able to handle the fact that he cheated on her and maybe even fathered a child if she was taken aside and quietly introduced to the knowledge of pon farr...

Eh, been working on (or rather attempting to launch) a nBSG/ST project called "Thirteenth and a Half" that combines a modified canon (show canon when possible, overwritten and supplemented by LUG RPG when I need it) with nBSG up to Season 3. I'm doing a lot of work with Vulcan translations (T'Pol will be the central ST character) and so I've been otherwise occupied. That, and, well look at CW. Oh boy. My Little Pony? The eighth bad fic about that same anime where some chick summons something wanked from someone's favorite fandom? Why bother?

So whats gonna happen in the next chapter ?
