      Somehow, I have found myself in a bit of a debate (on FB, unfortunately) with a creationist. He seems to believe that carbon-dating and other radioactive dating is wrong (surprise, surprise).

      However, during his last reply, amongst the ad hominems and appeals to authority (he's an engineer with three degrees, apparently), he said I should read these two books (direct quote):

      "Hallmarks of Design" by Top Space Scientist & Engineer Dr Stewart Burgess or the book "Creation & Change" by Prof David Kelly
      Should I attempt to find and read them, or leave them alone?

      If anyone else has a thought, please let me know

      What can we (Atheists, Agnostics, and Non-Theists) actually say that is critical of religion and not be offensive to you?
