I know for sure where a couple of ships are downed on planets fairly intact. There's a Hammerhead on Geonosis alone. Btw, small operation on Or Tuma; Ryloth system. Ice mining for the most part. Lots of tons even at 1 credit per liter on Tatooine means profit! There are several places with Venators more or less intact, just not flyable.
Liked the Victory class ships you picked. Very nice. Interested in some trades? SW power tech, ion engines, shields. Just about anything reasonable. I'm interested in your armor mostly, lasers as well.
SciFi in SW thread. I did the random roll bit. Surprised the heck out of me where I'm ending up at. I've like half a dozen gambits for SW now so I'd have options. Might be able to combine two of them, but one will be risky to work in my plans.
I never did get into Twilight X for some reason. If I do take the FoAW/ToT as my tier 2, at least I'll get some wicked fighters to uprate. :)
I was not denigrating Fred's work by any means. Remember that I happen to like Fred's work. I also happen to like Ted's. Both have distinct styles, and the genres are different. Ted has been doing ToT/FoAW since '86-'87, and I have to respect that.
Btw, you do know that the size limits are back down to 500 meters, right? I found the latest posted revision, and it was one ship up to 500 meters. I think I should have not said a thing about snagging a Volga class WarShip from B'tech. I was going to go Trek for my tier 1, and ToT for my tier 2. Was going to pack in the Volga a small habitat, and 2 large factories in the cargo space. Barring all 3, I would have used 2 of the docking collars for the factories. hehehe
The whole FoAW deal has run a goodly bit itself. Each of the Diggers girls has her own assets to want, that's for sure. Gina has the whole "girl with glasses" deal goin' on, and the brains to match. :D
What can I say? I got hooked on ToT. That's why I was able to pass Inquisitor Ryan's tech test with no problems, especially since I would have to seriously upgrade the Johnston class Corvette to SW standards. :D Ah yes, the Diggers girls. I know about them as well, and those knockers make for great pillows. hehehe
