This isn't some "democratic super nation", that's implausible.

I haven't updated my fic yet, I'm planning the next update, but I'm having some issues with the direction I want to take it in; the link I posted was to a post asking readers for feedback on that issue. If you have any opinions on the matter they'd be appreciated. I'm posting this here cause I didn't want to derail discussion of your fic.

I'd appreciate any comments on style, technique and such, if you feel like offering any. I'm trying some experimental things with trying to bring out characterization by unconventional writing techniques, and it'd be nice to know whether that's working out OK or not.

Looking back on the whole affair from some distance, I have to admit I did have a somewhat emotional reaction to having something I didn't like attacked and was sort of coming from that in that thread. I can't say I'd be completely on board with your interpretation but I can see where you're coming from.

In Acceptable Behavior we're not part of it. In main stream mass effect they don't hate us at all. Looking at their behavior, they love us to bits.

As for why we're not building up and colonizing, in normal mass effect we are. In Acceptable it's cause if we did something like that we'd end up at war with the entire rest of the civilized galaxy.

Question if the Council races hate us so much why are we part of it. I know at the time we didn't have the fleets or the ships. But why not stay for a short while, build up our fleets with Frigates, Destroyers, Cruisers, Carriers, and Super Carriers than split from the Council at the right time...don't forget why they wanted us to deal with the Batarians. We don't have to take Verge we have the entire Exodus, Arcturus, and Terran Clusters to colonized as a idea Admiral. If you want. :)

You get my crazy idea? Since the Turians follow a total war policy a bold, and illogical strike on Sol would be the first stage to turning this war around, and crush us Humans.
