I see. I haven't be able to read a Blood Angel codex that much, but did been searching else where and got the impression they're a more melee oriented.

Of course, there is the problem that even though codex may provide some of the picture, some of it is game balance as you mentioned(or just game mechanics, I'm pretty sure Heavy Bolters would be pinning IRL).

I only went with it as I wasn't too familiar with Space Marine assets and organization and just went with it for a quick and simple thing.

But as I read more about Space Marine assets and organization, part of it befuddles me and others seem too oriented to the melee combat assault. Though, that latter is more obvious with some specific Chapters like Blood Angels.

I don't see any reason why we should have it other then training purposes. There is the 'assault' lascannon I've developed as well.

Overall, I've been considering further deviations from the codex.

I just go with 5 tech 5 librarians then.
That where I'll be pushing my specialty since others seemed more focus on close combat(generally).

Is there any particular reason why Tactical Marine can't use the Devastators' weapons other then Codex doctrine? Some of it actually confuses me.

Off hand, I suppose 5 Techmarines and 5 Librarians would work. As I'm leaning towards specialization in psychics and ranged combat.

On one hand I want to keep running Pokemon since "Finish what you start" is there.
On the other, all of the players seem to be in different time zomes or something, making it hard to run.

I only built my heavy shipyard 3 turns ago, built a Chel'tak 2 turns ago, and a Cheops before the update, so I have 6 Capital ships now.
