Basically I meant to give an out. Evil only prospers when good men do nothing, but they have to know about it to do something.

I don't mean to sound critical, but your signature doesn't make sense(apart from the random capitalization). The way it's worded, it is also saying that evil can only prosper when good men know of it. If they didn't know of it, wouldn't it be easier for evil to prosper?

DOn't want to derail the least likeable protagionist thread, btu actually your theory makes a bit of sense.

Hey lare, I'd tell you in the thread but I don't want to clutter it up. I think I don't give you as much credit despite all the quests we've been in together, and I have to apologise for anything i've said to you. Your a fairly smart guy who can make a pretty great arguement or plan.

If the "fans" aren't aware of his importance, or of the plots of Fate/Stay Night, then they still don't know who Shirou is. And that's just not right.

They will see all those things, true. But they won't see Shirou, not until they very end, where he is naught but a burning child, unaware of the baddassery that awaits him.

Then you have a better perception of the future then I. Although you did miss Fate/Zero, in your list of Fate Fanon's that have nothing to do with Shirou. And since Fate/Zero is what's bringing in the most fans now, how many of them know a damn thing about Fate/Stay Night I wonder?

The future is a dark place, can you hold onto that hope of yours?

Do you ever get the feeling that, sometime in the near future, you could ask a Fate fan for their opinion of Emiya Shirou, only for them to give you this look. You know, the one that makes it clear they have no idea what you're talking about? Because I have now lost the ability to shake that feeling.
