        When I say "almost got him killed," I meant that if Saber had a little more power, she would have broken through and killed him (Shirou is not powerful enough to support her properly). He put on a strong front for Shirou and Saber, but he had lost a large amount of power and couldn't pursue. Even though he didn't move much at all after Excalibur, he nearly tore his bones apart from sheer strain.
