They like to take places intact... and since the magic system is so versatile... well... construction, battlefield and civvy Healing, transportation, they don't need to sneak... they LOOK like any other person... and that's what's scary... but most of the series sort of has a focus on the build up to the apocalypse with everyone trying to get their shit together.
