Your against marriage of any kind? I saw one of your posts say something like that.

Oh...

I hate the government getting involved in marriage.
Really? Because whenever I stick my head into /b/ it's all people posting in "How should I masturbate" threads.
Then you're obviously in a troll thread. The people who frequent /b/ and 4chan in general are not...shall we say...those looking for social contact.

These days 4chan is running off the Anonymous reputation when in fact m00t, MOOT-L0V3, m00tykins, Sigourney Weaver kicked them out back in '07. So a lot of people who come to 4chan know something about it's reputation, alternatively just wait until the summer ends, I swear Newfags are like migratory birds, the stupid ramps up to ridicules levels in the summer months.

Gotta point out that your last post in the Strong Female Characters thread is a bit off. There -are- hard social expectations that society almost always gets nasty with on a personal level. The thing is that they only apply to males. Women are permitted gender role flexibility. Men are not.

There are, but it's presupposes in good writing that the author can handle them in such a way as to not get nasty. Otherwise the book has little appeal, no one reads it, and the discussion doesn't happen due to lack of interest.

It's one of those things where, again, I'd argue the problem only exists in bad writing (and society). To qualify as good writing the writer needs to have already moved almost co mpletely beyond the issue .

I think, if I tried, I could turn all of the problems you listed around. I didn't drop out of college, I am still in it and plan to go next semester. As long as I am there, I would think I could still make contacts. Not only that, but I plan on working for Obama's re-election next year and I imagine doing that would get me some contacts.

Just watched the opening of "My Babysitter is a Vampire." The theme song opening in the movie is seriously the second most disturbing thing I've seen all week (the first being a horrifying dream literally involving a baby being ripped apart). Something about the mixing of vampire movies clips in a high school hallway, right after a scene of real vampires that looked exactly like they killed someone, along with a cheerful love song that I am pretty sure is about a vampire...

No idea why it affected me so strongly, but it just worked very well. Maybe I'm just in the right mood for it, but the whole thing worked.

Dunno; I just reply to each PM with "Rape boy" and go back to what I was doing.
9. JoeHundredaire
Having a hilarious time with Space Penguin. He keeps PMing me to defend wading into a discussion on rape and using rape as an analogy for other things in the fic to justify the rape (remember that?) and I just keep replying with "Rape boy" and watching him get more wound up.

LOL. I think it's a natural fit for Trigamy: the girls know some strippers and have a school that could probably use a fundraiser. And thanks to magic, the Rhino Girls can do the bake sale and be back at work in Vegas in time for their shift.
11. JoeHundredaire
I'm seriously thinking of doing a fic with a chapter involving a bake sale that's worked by strippers.
12. JoeHundredaire
Space Penguin spent half an hour tonight trying to defend his rape commentary. Then he logged out.

Revamping scene a little. Now involves a mention of Andorian ale and taking Ruby's "guess the names I want for my kids and I'll marry you" challenge.
14. JoeHundredaire
The current codename for the project you've been reading. :)

No clue. S'why I've been so quiet in CW lately; between Thirteenth and a Half and the MLP infestation, I've lacked both the time and desire to post.

LOL, reminds me... Maliana Pär on being joined...
"Sure I'm only seventeen and the galaxy probably has plenty of worse things up its sleeve for me to experience, but the day I integrated that memory was easily the worst of my life so far. There is not enough alcohol in this system to help you cope with memories of having sex with your own father."

I need to get someone to draw me a Trill MLP. Or maybe an Orion. Or Luna. Not sure. *ponders*
17. JoeHundredaire
Where'd your avvy go?
18. JoeHundredaire
I compressed two PM threads into one. It's the one you just hit me back with. Already sent a clarification back on issues you were confused on.
19. JoeHundredaire
Just a poke; dropped you a big PM full of questions I'm waiting on before revising and/or continuing.
20. JoeHundredaire
You had a broken
and stuff. You edited it out now I saw.
21. JoeHundredaire
Dude, the message you were typing in HP Recs blew up... O_O
22. JoeHundredaire
Daphne: "Harry, can you conjure a cantaloupe so I can demonstrate my falcon's new trick?"
Harry: "Why me? Your sister's pretty damn good at conjuring up melons herself."
Tracey: "What? I've never conjured anything before in my…" *looks down* "…I see what you did there."
23. JoeHundredaire
Just to avoid derailing the BSG thread more... I'm personally not seeing how you could find <insert name here> from <insert city here> in <insert state that is not CT here> if you told anyone, professional or not, to look for a girl named "Claire" in Connecticut. But that's just me.
