Maybe it all depends on how far out there the basic technology and I mean just the crude basic tech. I think it can be done, but only if there is nothing else to suck away time and resources from it and if the pressure and the Idea we need space lift yesterday. and guess what the mother of all cheat sheets just landed in our lap.

A trilogy for sure. We know how it starts of course, with the first part ending around the battle of saturn. THe Second part ends with the return to earth. And third starts with roys death.
