I can see a stabilized Imperium where knowledge is flourishing as bad for them.

It's just, I've lurked for a long time, you know?

And I loved reading about RPs and Quests where you, and Vel10 and Brain_Caster, Manda, and Russel would do crazy awesome things.

You were kinda like the cartoon characters I watched as a kid.

Otherwise the RP felt like it would have degenerated into: "Let's make this BrightHammer 40K"
"Oh, shit. Problem."
"BrightHammer time (through wise policies!)
"Problem"
and so on.

Just my opinion.

I just feel as though, from that rp, you and Manda stood out the most. It was neat seeing the two clashes of opinion in the Universe's largest human empire, even as oblivion threatened from without.

Aside from that, it added flavor to have the players be at odds. I quite enjoyed reading about the tension between opposing agendas.

1. The changes that they were making should have provoked a backlash, and it made sense that the religious leader of the Imperium would object. Violently.

2. The cluster of psykers that were being raised seemed a huge threat to the Imperium. Clustering together that many flesh portals to the Warp... it raised the question of whether Manda's character was corrupted and pretending to serve the Imperium.

3. It actually was in character. If I was the leader of the Church, which had not changed for thousands of years, and then I saw all these changes happening, I would suspect my peers of power-hungriness at the least, and chaos corruption at the most.

The actions that you took against the Progressive players in the High Lords, for one. Though on the surface, it may have seemed like you were opposing them out of dogma, but a closer inspection revealed:

Honestly, I'm hoping to have a good purge or two of xenos in the thread. It would fill me with the greatest of joy to see the xenos killed, and dumped offworld like the damned filth they are.
