Long story short, they made the Tainted.

That gave me so many plot bunnies I swear that its mating season in my brain. Eagerly awating that PM now.

Right, here is it.

The fight goes mostly well for you. A member of your group gets critically injured though. After the Orks are gone, you find two injured but alive Smurfs and three dead ones. The one with the Heavy bolter (A sergeant) thanks and then brief you.

The four squads were suddenly separated due to an surprise attack. They had contact with each other for a while but lost it after 30 minutes. Then the sergeant's squad took losses after encountering a large Ork force retreating until where you found them.

You receive a faint vox signal soon after he finishes.

I totally understand. I find a good way to help deal with it is to read the codex fluff for Mass Effect and wonder why no one on the ME book writing staff has written a space battle yet.

Oh, yeah. ME space combat is a very good analogy of early-game space combat. Just remove the mass-altering technology and tadah! :P

Well, if you're still interested in the game, I'm glad. Everyone acts like an ass sometimes, even me. :P It would be nice if people asked more questions, though.

I'm working on it, don't worry. Damage control is going on behind the scenes. Rest assured that I have not forgotten about that. I started as a player, after all.

Hrm, been thinking of it. Maybe this game isn't for me. I'm not used to playing in a hard sci-fi game, don't really have the time to check out articles relevant to the situation and such.

Going to give the game a turn or two more but if I don't feel it, I just might leave. Just warning you now, sorry.

Alright, then. It won't stay hard, though. It's difficult on me to keep the realism in mind, too. It will transition to 'soft' sci-fi soon.
