Not really. I've had non-sickening avatars in the past before. I just choose the squick factor out of professionalism and to honor RandomJ's request that I continue his work however I can.

I post that message on the profile page of anyone whose sig I count as being seven or more lines (out of a recommended maximum of five). Completely arbitrary limit, and it does catch lots of people with seven lines (and far fewer with more).
The quote box in yours adds two lines which turns your sig up to seven.

I've already cleared my sig with the mods last time around, I see no need to do so again.

If I get a reply, I respond to explain and maybe suggest a fix.
If the person I inform doesn't do anything, I don't do anything. I'll keep checking back on their profile page anytime I see the sig and count seven lines to remind myself if I've already posted.
