Yes the star maps are a must for me and the weapons tech along with the shields are going to take time to install for me so it would be realistic.
I was only going to salvage some hyperdrive tech, some info one the languages and some examples of starwars shielding tech.
Thanks for the info Vianca but my commandoes will probably eventually encounter the thugs and soldiers. They will still scout the area of Mos Eisley which will just confirm what you already told me. Edit: it may be difficult for me to recruit them since my crew doesn't know the languages.

The Vics are ok ships, but slow. The Victory I is slower than the Venator. The engines were crap, and even after the fix, the Vic IIs weren't as fast as the ISD, but could keep up with Venators. As for the mod Venator, I'm going to sketch it out perhaps crudely, but the idea will be more clear I think. Let me count up my ship totals in the next few hours, and I'll see if I can spare a Vic.
The engines are just too big. They look like they came from ISDs, and the little ones look like the old tertiary size engines of the original Venator. My idea is for an over/under config of 4 Venator mains flanking the hyperdrive sticking out the back. The old secondary engines nestled next to the over/under mains. That's it. Those six outlets should push the speed up to ISD standard minimum. The other thing is those rear guns had better have an interrupter setup, or they can shoot out their own hyperdrive.
I understand your point. It is an idea that makes sense to a point. I'm not using TIEs or Starfuries though. The Venators with the oversize engines were interesting. I was thinking about something similar, but only the original main engines. Your album was rather interesting.
Yeah, that's right. Forgot about those. Btw, the Venator conversion also sees the old hangar space being put to good use. The armored bay doors will stay closed, as they will no longer be doors. Things like quarters, a CIC, large medical bay, improved power distribution runs, replicator system, transporters (I hope) and stuff like that will make use of the old fighter hangar spaces.
Check this out. The Venator conversion will be interesting. Imagine the BC-304's hangar pods for sec. Now, take that idea, and apply it to the Venator. 120 fighters to each of the side pods, similar to the 304, or even a battlestar's flight decks in a way. The exposed hyperdrive has got to go, as well as how the sublight engines are mostly exposed as well. Build up the aft portions a bit, take the pods and partly use them as part of the new framework. Complex, but workable.

The Vindicators will work as I gain other ships to strip down. The Vindicator is the same hull as the Immob.-418, since the 418 was a conversion job in the first place.
Actually, I'm going to let the Empire handle Zann's station. Siskeen has planets, a station, nerfherding, and tibanna gas. I want Siskeen, and mean to have it. Just need people to man it, and the ship repair facilities. Been getting such from Ryloth anyway. The stash and grabs will be smaller ships that can be taken with less fuss. Think Strike Cruisers, Vindicators, a few 418s, Carracks, salvage yard fodder ship, and so on.
I'm still in, since Shadowhyde finally did something. I'm also in for a stash and grab op. However, it has to be planned to a point that we can get away with it. Especially since the Imperial ship numbers are far more than canon.
