Independent Republic of Wisconsin 362 Billion GSP (Old United States Dollars) 10.1 Million Citizens Backstory After the grand event that shattered the unity of the United States, and left many of the other states in total anarchy, Wisconsin was left in a state of more-or-less harmony, with the exception of the rioting city of Milwaukee and several lesser cities. Federal Government concerned few of the population, and the Wisconsin state government was determined to bring the states back together into one Union. However, it was not to be. As the few remaining news networks broadcast the effects of the mysterious, sudden removal of the Federal Government and military throughout the entire nation, along with what appeared to be all others of the world, these hopes faded as city after city fell into total anarchy, and people staking claims to areas for themselves. The future looked grim, especially with the total collapse of the state of Michigan into such a maelstrom of gang violence. Clearly, actions had to be taken to secure Wisconsin from the same fates that befell many other of the once-united States. The city of Milwaukee was eventually placed firmly under control, as the gang violence which had plagued it was ruthlessly stamped out by the determined police forces and volunteer groups, who swore that no such anarchy would be permitted in their home state. Recruitment in the National Guard boomed, and courses were offered in schools for those who wanted to possibly join up in the future. The only intact portion of Michigan, not under the sway of the gang violence and blossoming criminal elements, was the Upper Peninsula, and the hand of friendship extended from the state that had formerly owned that land was accepted with such a fervor that surprised many. The resource-rich peninsula brought a massive amount of the metals that had once supplied the auto industries of lower Michigan now pumped into Wisconsin's idle factories. The rapidly growing industries to eliminate Wisconsin's one-time dependence on other states for some of the heavier equipment improved the economy, casting off a number of worthless jobs and cutting unemployment by astonishing levels. Some things, though, were unattainable - Any dependable source of oil was cut off, forcing the emergency shutdown of the oil-burning power plants for the forseeable future, and driving a car became an incredible luxury, prompting the widespread expansion of mass transportation. A new auto industry has been recently reviving, bringing in the concept of electrical-powered vehicles, which were by far more practical than gasoline-burning engines. With plenty of existing nuclear fuel to power the Nuclear Power Plants in Kewaunee and Two Rivers, and a growing solar/wind energy economy, these problems are slowly being taken care of. However, the rosy future that seemed to be approaching was not to be. To Wisconsin's east, the state of Minnesota collapsed from the lack of effective leadership, and less control of local crime, and to the south, a new nation calling itself the "Chicago Imperium" was forming, and the new government forming in what was becoming called the Independent Republic of Wisconsin found them to be too aggressive to be trusted. With the reports of several minors wars breaking out between several of the ex-states, the Senate voted that Wisconsin had to prepare itself for any possible war with the Chicago Imperium. The first act in this was the re-opening of the Badger Army Ammunition Plant, bringing the military factories back into service, and also expanding the Sauk County plant into a complete set of military production facilities. The second of these acts was to send the newly-formed Wisconsin Army into action in Minnesota, sweeping into the portions of the state to the west of the Mississippi River, taking firm control of the area, unopposed by any organized fighting force. Taking over this highly-populated portion of the state expanded Wisconsin's boarders to a great degree, and added the area's industries to its own, solidifying the union as quickly as possible. With the extension of Wisconsin's boarders to the Mississippi River, and slightly past it, the new nation decided that, having sufficiently bulked up their body, they needed to now bristle with symbols of their force, to repel any possible invasion from the Chicago Imperium, or any adventurous Canadian state. Military Preparations Currently, military preparations are of a makeshift, though effective nature. The Wisconsin First Army is a mobile, motorized rifle unit, and arguably the pride of the Republic's military. The entire unit is armed with the only "new" military technology in service, the WR-1 Battle Rifle. A cross between the two latest weapons to be in military service, the XM-8 and OICW, the rifle fires 6.8mm rounds in a 30-round clip with selective fire modes, and a lower-mounted 20mm, multipurpose barrel, which is fed from a 3-round clip of typically either Flechette or HEAA (High Explosive, Anti-Armor) rounds (Not to be confused with anti-tank ;)), though there are other types of ammunition availible for use in the 20mm. Also, the main 6.8mm barrel is designed to be easily rechambered for alternate ammunition types, should supplies run low and a unit be forced to use captured ammunition sources. In addition, the First Army is equipped quite liberally with converted Technicals, electrical-powered and lightly armored pickup trucks with a pintle-mounted heavy weapon and light armor, enough to resist some small-arms fire. Typically, these are armed with a mounted SAW, though a few are armed with larger weapons, such as a .50 cal MG. Supply problems do affect the Technicals rather often, due to the alternate types of ammunition required, and also that combat use drains the 36-hour effective use battery storage at unpredictable rates. This, however, has been deemed to be acceptable, compared to not having these elements at all. The Second Army is currently the backbone of the Wisconsin Defense Forces. Equipped with less of the higher-quality weapons of the First Army, the personal weapons of Second Army are a mixture of the WR-1 and older M-16A2s. This disadvantage, though, is offset in the more widespread use of squad-level weapons, such as the older SAW and M-60, designed to provide a greater weight of fire from defensive positions, which is currently Second Army's purpose. Their zone of operations is primarily focused along the Racine-Janesville-Platteville line, and the defenses along the Mississippi. Currently, plans are in the works for expansions to the Badger Army Ammunition Plants, now renamed to the Badger Military Industrial Complex, for the future building of armored vehicles. Multiple sets of blueprints are being debated over and improved, discarded, or any of the other many things that can happen to possible military plans. At this point, there are three different types of vehicle that are currently being requested - an MBT, IFV, and a smaller tank. Naval Power is a bit harder to come by, especially seeing as the Republic has huge coastlines along both Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, and also the Mississippi. Currently, the Navy is made up of armed civilian speedboats, requisitioned with a very small fee from their owners, who found that the gasoline in the tanks of their boats was far more valuable than the rest of the boat itself. These have been armed similarly to the Technicals, with SAW squad-level MGs pintle-mounted on-deck, or in rare cases, a Rocket-Propelled Grenade launcher. There are a couple of large cargo ships that have been converted to serve as base ships for these motorboats, to extend their range out into the lake, or, more importantly, to hold a benign blockade of the Chicago Imperium, confiscating any military goods that might be somehow imported, though very little has been found to stop boats for. Simpler goods are not being stopped, though it is suspected that any overwhelmingly valuable or needed cargo has been privateered off, completely outside of orders handed down from Republic Navy Command. The Air Force is currently made up of airplanes that have been refurbished from private air museums over the past three years, resulting in a mix of warplanes that served their country in World War 2, up to planes that have only recently been taken off of combat duty to be interred in their museum homes. Munitions for these planes are scarce, but measures are being taken to re-arm them all fully, and to acquire new planes from outside sources, preferably modern ones. Socio-Economic Characteristics In the midst of this new series of changes, society in Wisconsin changed a good deal, as well. Unemployment and poverty began to disappear, as every person was needed to work, and lack of food became much less of a problem after transportation was worked out, as the plentiful farmlands of Wisconsin were no longer being overtaxed to feed entire parts of the United States. Compared to the squalor and competition for scare food in other ex-states, Wisconsin's citizens lived in luxury, from top to bottom. However, even in the midst of what was appearing to become a middle-class paradise, the actuality of it was still as things were - There were still class distinctions, and they became much more pronounced over the next three years. The vast majority of the populace lived in comparative luxury, thankful that they weren't caught in the hellholes that were some of the other states, especially Michigan, made up a lower class, known simply as Citizens. A middle class of more wealthy individuals, who were commonly in the higher positions working in the factories, were are more diverse class, made up of specialists, more wealthy individuals, and generally the folks better off than mere Citizens. This middle class is known colliquially as the Specialist class, and, despite first appearances that they are the same as Citizens, to outsiders, there is a marked difference between the classes to an inhabitant of Wisconsin. The upper class is known, also very simply as the Nobles. These people are typically in their positions by family connections, though a particularly exceptional Specialist may become a Noble, and a rather ineffective Noble can be reduced to a mere Citizen, and these occurances have happened surprisingly often to the deserving. Nobles are the real movers and shakers in the Republic, making all the big decisions, and controlling the Senate. Their decisions are made on the behalf of the populace, and there has been surprisingly little dissent on the part of the Citizens. A number of laws have been relaxed, allowing greater freedoms, including the limited legality of what used to be illegal drugs - All things in moderation, as the common wisdom goes. Marijuana is just another habit that is permitted while people are not working, much like alcohol, though hardly as popular, given its connotations with the criminal element that had once existed. The great taboo of the Republic, though, is criminal activity, in the sense of gang members and anarchy. These things frightened the people of Wisconsin so badly, that the new laws for the state go far beyond merely frowning on gang activity - It is brutally supressed. An example of this was the purge of 2008 in what was once Minnesota, where military forces instituted a week-long operation of killing gang members and those affiliated with those illegal activities. Over ten thousand were reported killed in that operation, far greater than what had happened in Milwaukee earlier. Other criminal activities, such as black marketeering and other things, are not so much a felony now, as a lesser set of crimes that are frowned upon, but can be gotten away with by the intelligent, and are generally not punished, except in severe cases, such as the illegal diverting of precious gasoline supplies, which is obviously dealt with HARSHLY. Interestingly, one of the laws passed in Wisconsin has made training in firearm use, and the owning of at least one gun per person aged 16 or over in a household, mandatory. Membership in the NRA is very common, as is the practice of having a local Shooting Hall, which is a combination of a town club, shooting range, and also a center for organizing armed resistance in the event of a raid by outside forces. Government The Government of the Independent Republic of Wisconsin is based rather loosely off of the previous state government - There is a Senate, with a number of Senators all elected from various districts of the Republic. The number of Senators from each district is based on the number of people living in the district, distributed out so that there are 100 Senators, whom are all from the Noble class, obviously, though they are elected by all the Citizens and Specialists and other Nobles from their District. This decision-making body votes on all laws and most actions that are not covered under the Sovereign's emergency powers acts. The leader of the Republic is the Sovereign. He is elected once every five years by a popular vote from a candidate picked from among the Senate. Typically, two or three of the groups among the Senate will put forth their candidate, and the Republic's populace will vote on who will the the Sovereign. This, of course, is only the current theory, as the first Sovereign was chosen unanimously, Sovereign James Doyle, the ex-Governor of Wisconsin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Order of Battle Army of the Republic Total Men - 100,000 Unit Sizes Fireteam - 4 Men (2 Fireteams) Squad - 8 Men (3-7 Squads) Platoon - 25-60 Men (4-8 Platoons) Company - 100-500 Men (3-5 Companies) Battalion - 500-1500 Men (3-6 Battalions) Brigade - 2,500-5,000 Men (3-5 Brigades) Division - 12,500-15,000 Men First Army Men - 25,000 Technicals - 3,125 Equipment Standard Issue Rifle: Badger Arms WR-1 (6.8x51mm, 20mm secondary) Standard Issue Machine Gun: M249 SAW (5.56x45mm) Standard Issue Handgun: Browning M1911A1 (.45 Caliber) Second Army Men - 75,000 Technicals - 2,500 Equipment Standard Issue Rifle: Badger Arms WR-1 (6.8x51mm, 20mm secondary) (rare) Colt M-16A2 (5.56x45mm) (common) Standard Issue Machine Gun: M249 SAW (5.56x45mm) (common) M60E3 Machine Gun (7.62x51mm) (common) Standard Issue Handgun: Browning Hi-Power (9mm) Technical: Endurance: 36 Hours (Standard use) Capacity: 8 Men Armarment: M249 SAW (common) Browning M2 (rare) Republican Air Guard Total Men - ??,??? To create this pool of soldiers, all citizenry within the Alliance were called to training each weekend. It has become Alliance practice and law to maintain a large body of citizen soldiers, however, because they are purely militia, they also have other jobs, and thus cannot be called up for long periods of duty. All soldiers must purchase and furnish themselves with weapons and body armor. The most generic being Police SWAT armor, M-14 automatic rifles, and combat shotguns. Hi-Powered Hunting rifles are the preferred weapons of Sniper units. Currently the body of militia is primarily drawn from construction workers and civil engineers, for the express purpose of constructing the Fortification Line, a massive embankment of concrete, lumber, chainlink fence, and armed outposts. In times of extreme emergency the Council can issue county levies to fill. These levies can vary in size reaching up to arming the entire populace for defensive purposes only. The Northern Militias, especially that of New Hampshire, are expert in forest and mountain warfare due to their being largely composed of hunters and small town folk who can afford rifles. Reposted from the main OOC thread:
The Independent Republic of Boulder Population: ~ 1.5 million (Colorado) GDP: n/a (strictly Communist) Territory: Present-Day Colorado Captial: Boulder (present-day Boulder, the site of Colorado University) Government/Idealology: Communist/"Green" lead by Premier Cavendish Industrial/Manufacturing Base: "Advanced yet Green" (I promise nothing too wankerish!) In the throes of whatever caused the event described in the first place, the city and county of Boulder, Colorado, with their extreme left-wing idealologies, decided that this would be the opportune time to cecede and start their own Utopian nation. Therefore, the first stage of the Independent Republic of Boulder was created. This created great hostility between the more conservative (not to mention more rational) neighboring counties, and great tension ensued. The Independent Republic of Boulder felt threatened from all sides, and called upon its nearest ally, the great city and county of Denver, to call for help. This formed the great alliance that would lead to the formation of the still yet greater state-spanning Independent Republic. Using the resources of the National Guard assets in Denver, reinforcements were sent to Boulder to bolster their position against the unfriendly neighbor counties. However, this did not bode well for the hippie populace of Boulder, who resented anything with a gun and wearing green (unless it was Hemp Green, of course). This created great tension between Boulder and its very allies. As state-level civil war seemed immiment, everyone from the extremely conservative to the rational left began to flee the state, leaving only the militaristically left city-state of Denver and the "Green" left state of the Independent Republic of Boulder. Then a great leader came fourth, someone who was able to rationalize the equally whackly left yet conflicting idealologies of a strong Military Communist state of Denver and the hippie green Eco-Commie Utopia of Boulder. This man, Raymond Cavendish, a native of Denver and former post-grad student of Colorado University, rose up head and shoulders above all others. With his inner circle of comrades, he rose up in both Boulder and Denver and staged a bloodless coup - made possible with the use of all smotherings. With the two Liberal Whackjob City-States now united as one, he proudly proclaimed the entire state of Colorado re-dedicated as The Independent Republic of Boulder! This new, state-wide Communist social utopia would reconcilie the conflicting differences and needs of the Eco-Social Hippie Utopia so strongly desired by Boulderites, and the strong military defenses desired by Denverites and Colorado Springians and required to defend this paranoid state against its untrusting neighbors. With the great resources of some of the best universities in the former United States, namely Colorado University, the Independent Republic of Boulder has been able embark on a great social-engineering program never seen before in world history. People can now enjoy the hippie eco-friendly lives given to them as birthrights (but not from God/Allah/Budda/Gishnu, since religion is evil!), while still enjoying the protection of a strong yet Green and eco-friendly military. Now, the great utopia forseen by such great visionaries as Ralph Nader has finally come to fruitition! Let us all rejoice in the glory that is The Independent Republic of Boulder! Federation OOB
Confederation of Alberta (aka Alberta) GDP: 188.15 Billion Population 3,852,000 Back story In the aftermath and to avoid the meltdown the Us seemed to be going through the Alberta Governor activated the Active reserve, ready reserve and the Supplemental reserve members of the Canadian armed forces as well as the communications reserve branch. Quickly securing Calgary and Edmonton as a precaution there was no major looting or riots in either city. With the Federal government gone Governor Jean Pierre quickly tried to make sure daily life wouldn't be too interrupted by the loss of Parliamentary the Armed forces. After trying to contact the other provinces he say they's be on their own until events had settled. To replace the army He asked the reserves to stay semi-active until a sufficient force was trained to act as the new Canadian forces. As City states grew up in the former United states and encroached on Ontario He feared the same and erected watch points along the southern border along Wyoming and Saskatchewan. With the Federation of Albert now firmed set they watch the Us closely. Trade exists with the other provinces on a somewhat subdued level. With their supplies of oil, coal, gas, and steel, their in a good position to trade and barter with the other Canadian provinces or the Americans if they were so interested. Military: With the loss of the national assets and the only aircraft manufacturers in the now city states of Ontario and Quebec their air power was cut down to national forest fire helicopters, planes and commercial craft. Their military suffered a double blow as all Military vehicle plants and armaments were also located in the eastern provinces. Making due they commandeered, brought and converted what they could. The reserve forces hardly numbered more then 7,500 Thankfully with the other areas in chaos they didn't have to immediately fight an invading force. Using CFB Edmonton as the staging ground they began to train volunteers but Jean Pierre and the new formed Military Review Board saw this wouldn't provide a large enough base if they did eventually engage an enemy. Thus GM Pierre drew up a order that the State parliament passed All adults 18-40, are required to join and stay the reserves so there be a consistent level of trained citizen solders in case of local/provincial emergency or military necessity. The Badland Federation
Nickname: Badlanders or Baddies The territory: Nevada, Arizona, and southern half of Utah Capital: Carson City After the initial cataclysm had passed the panic had sunk into three unfortunate states. However, the panic was short-lived a year after the cataclysm when Las Vegas stopped the chaos with order. The cooler heads prevailed as the citizens of Las Vegas rallied altogether to create a commission to establish the government especially the order. The martial law was declared in the city and its surrounding towns. Within few weeks the marital law edict had spread to adjoining areas with force. The city of Reno and surrounding areas did similar thing by declaring the martial law. They also joined up with Las Vegas to suppress the chaos. In two months, the order had bought the whole Nevada and southern half of Utah under its iron grip with the help of various police forces and volunteers. Fortunately, the violence and death rate was amazingly very low due to quick responsive and assurance of the Nevada state government. The city of Phoenix was an entirely different story when the pandemonium spared the city no mercy. The criminals took no chance to take advantage of the confusion as they seized the streets of Phoenix. The Phoenix’s police force was caught off guard by this surprise. The chaos reigned until a charismatic policeman took stand and swayed confused population to support the police to retake the city and restore the order for all. The bloodiest urban warfare ensured and it was dragged on for a month until the outside help from Nevada arrived. The order was finally restored in Phoenix. Tucson city and surrounding areas, like Nevada counterparts, was spared from the confusion and they declared the martial law until they met up with Nevada relief forces. From there, they created a government system and they were able to bring whole Arizona to the stability with a terrible cost. It took hundreds of brave law enforcements and volunteers’ live to establish the order. The leaders of state governments realized that with the federal government gone, the external threats remains very high and the alliance was necessary to survive after the initial cataclysm. They met up at one of Las Vegas’s casinos to forge the new government and thus the Badlands Federation was born. Present time The Badlands Federation had closed its border to hostile and chaotic areas particularly Mexico, although they still welcome the refugees if they could demonstrate they are non-threat to the Badlands Federation and agreed to one condition. The refugee males are to be drafted into the newly established military for a year and after that, they will be granted the citizenship. The Federation is in full force of military and industry build-up to resist potential invasions from hostile surrounding areas. The Badlands Federation is currently premier supplier of missile systems, Boeing automatic cannons, and machine guns in North America. Second advantage is that there are numerious aviation companies based in Arizona. The aircrafts are very capable but they still are two or three generations behind Texas Soviet and Confederate States’ military aircrafts. Free Kingdom of California
Nickname: Golden Kingdom, The Kingdom Backstory: After the initial cataclysm crime swept the more populous urban areas of the San Fransisco Bay and the Sacramento Delta. Martial law was declared, as police forces and survivalist groups fought against rising gangs. After six months of bloody combat, the borders had stabilized with the Bay Area firmly in the grips of the gang elements, with the rest of Northern and Central California in the hands of the state authorities. In the absence of any higher authorities, Governor Schwarzenegger took personal command of the makeshift California military, drawing on his experience in the Austrian military. He led a siege against San Fransisco, but was routed and killed by a stray bullet after a few months, and the raiders (Oakland) began to ransack the countryside for foodstuffs. When things seemed darkest, a young police captain and naval reservist named Adam Wolters conceived of utilizing the mothball fleet in the upper Sacramento river. This massive collection of ships ranging from coastal cutters to the USS Iowa had been placed in the care of California authorities over sixty years. In secret, a dozen naval destroyers were refurbished and rearmed, being turned into floating fortresses which could provide support in actions close-on the large rivers. After securing the aid of large, local armies in Stockton, Fresno, and Redding, a final offensive was launched on San Fransisco to put an end to the Oakland Raiders once and for all. The campaign was grueling, lasting over four months, with artillery shells and supplies being brought by truck and wagon, but in the end successful. The back of the raiders main army was broken at the Battle of Telegraph Hill, and their forces scattered. In a supreme act of mercy Adam Wolters, soon to be King Adam I, granted amnesty to all raiders not indicted for crimes against man in exchange for their arms and their assistance in building a new society. Current Outlook Sacramento, once the capital of the state, is now the capital city of the Free Kingdom of California. The nation is a constitutional monarchy, with a state assembly, a senate, and a King as the hereditary leader. New additions come from the seats on the senate for the proxies of the Grand Dukes of Fresno, Stockton, Redding, and San Fransisco, in addition to regular senators. The most prominent influence of the raider wars is the revitalization of the mothball fleet. Dozens of destroyers and smaller craft have been refurbished and rearmed, and patrol the waterways of northern california and the whole coast of North America. To seek supplies, Californian sailors will trade and or attack settlements up and down the coast, ranging as far south as Guadalajara and as far north as Anchorage. Fuel is purchased from the various bandit kings of Bakersfield and Oildale. It is expected that within the next ten years King Adam and the Grand Dukes will gather an army and conquer southern California, but for now Kingdom military doctrine makes it untenable. The Kingdom's economy is robust, with much of the farmland intact providing a breadbasket for the west, while some industry and mines are still operated. Power is readily available from hydroelectric plants, though travel is by either electric train or horse, as fuel is needed for the Kingdom's floating fortresses. The USS Iowa, rechristened the CNS Schwarzenegger, is the flagship of the fleet and is stationed in San Fransisco Bay. Kingdom naval outposts are maintained in Portland, San Fransisco, Seattle, San Simeon, and San Diego. *more military to come* |
I'm going to have to drop out of this. Due to the RayCav-and-I-against-the-world nature of this, I really think RayCav should pretty much get Texas.

[Erie Federation]
Population: 40 million (Has been approved by Phantom) The Greater Lakes was rocked by rebellion when anti-government conscripts and regulars stormed the capital in Columbus. A new form of government was installed, and a truce made with the ESC. In order to vote one could do any kind of public service, military or civilian, for 12-18 months. This way only loyal citizens could vote, and those who didn't to fight could still participate. The economy is now operating at a much more efficient pace, with employment high and luxuries beginning to make a return to usual levels. Military The Erie Federation maintains a force of about 300,000 soldiers. As an all volunteer army, it is quite well trained, but has a larger logistics base than many other militaries. About half of this is in the Army, and the remainder is split between the Navy and Air Force. Army: The Army maintains 3 Light Infantry divisions, 7 Mechanized Infantry and 1 Armored/Mechanized Infantry division. Weapons: Remington Military Rifle http://img223.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img2...ge=rmrs2yz.png Based on the XM-8, the Remington Military Rifle is a versatile weapon. Developed as a need for an indigeniously made weapon, the RMR series is well manufactured and reliable. The barrel and barrel related systems were made in conjunction with SSK, a company in Ohio familiar with the Remington lines of ammunition and adapting rifles to use them. The standard version uses 6.8mm Remington SPC, and is very high quality ammunition compared to the other lines of 6.8 as the factories were already availbe and did not need to be retooled to make 6.8mm rounds. However, Remington also manufactures the .223 (5.56mm NATO) round, and there is a rebarrel availible for that. Because of this, there are no ammunition shortages for the infantry and thus the RMR series is used universally. The pictured version of the RMR is the RMR(Standard), or RMRS. It has a 30 round 6.8mm SPC magazine, though 50 round drum or 100 round double drum are availible, as well as similar magazines for .223 ammunition. Four Stack 60 round magazines can be found in more specialized units. The RMRC is a bullpup carbine version with 65% parts compatability. It is popular with special forces, and has a picanny rail system for special forces soldiers. RMRG is the squad automatic version, a simple barrel conversion and bipod attachment to the S version. The new barrel allows for better heat dissapation, however the RMRG is becoming less common now that the FN conversions are coming off the lines. All RMR series (except for Picanny rail versions) have a 'handle' with an integrated 4x sight. It also features a self cleaning 'eight' muzzle that makes the weapon much more reliable. It uses the blow back shifted pulse recoil system, which makes it more expensive than the average assault rifle but much more effective. 3 6.8mm rounds hitting within a few inches of eachother means death for an enemy, body armored or not. A surplus of M203s from a factory in the Federation means they can be used on the weapon. -- FN-Minmi and FN-MAG factories in Ontario have conversions availible for 6.8mm SPC rounds. -- Sniper weapons: Remington 700: The one and only. With the increased funding for design improvements, possibly the best standard caliber sniper rifle, or so the Scout Forces say. SSK 14.5/.50 BMG Rifle: Another bolt action. AR-15 DMR: Serving as a placeholder until the Remington Military Rifle Marksman model comes into service, the AR-15 DMR is a heavy barrel 6.8 designed for sniper work. M-60EF The Erie Federation found itself in an interesting predicament when it decided to take advantage of its tank factories. The M-1 Abrams was far too expensive, and the cannon factory was inoperable. So they did what the Israelis did: turned the M60 into an impressive modern MBT. Similar in armor capabilities to the Sabra, as well as speed, and in some aspects, fire control, the M60EF is undoubtedly the last main battle tank. It's 105mm main gun allows it to outrange any other weapon short of some missiles on the battlefield. The standard M60 is much more common, but when the kid gloves come off, the EF is sure to be there. Other vehicles include the LAV-III series and Strykers, manufactured in Ontario. Other jeep and SUV types, along with military trucks, are also used. Air Force: Lancaster - 1 Mosquito - 1 P-51 Mustang - 1 A-26 Invader - 1 B-26 Marauder - 2 B-24 Liberator - 1 B-25 Mitchell - 2 F-100 Super Sabre - 9 F-86 Sabre - 6 F-84 Thunderstreak - 8 F-101 Voodoo - 3 F-102 Delta Dagger - 1 F-5 Freedom Fighter -3 Spitfire - 4 F-104 - 4 Hawker Hunter - 1 Mig-21 Fishbed - 1 Mig-17 Fresco - 1 A-7 Corsair II - 8 F-15 Eagle - 1 F-14 Tomcat - 2 A-10 Thunderbolt II - 1 F-4 Phantom - 5 C-120 Hercules - 1 S2F-2 Tracker - 1 Navy: A fleet of armed merchant vessels and patrol boats, mainly to keep a few privateers away from the Great Lakes trade lines. |

Here she shoots.
Democratic Party Of Kiyy After the Event, southern Mexico exploded into a raging fury, because of the large groups of well-armed revolts and gangs. The capital city was quickly taken by a gang calling themselves ‘The Grip’, and they spread terror across lower and middle mexico, before being dethroned in a bloody coup de etat by another gang. However, Most Of Northern Mexico was already controlled more or less by very well-armed drug traffickers, who, finding the government removed, quickly seized power. ‘The Kiyy’ quickly took up residence in Durango, Chihuahua, and Coahulia. Lead by Devan Zoraster, the gang quickly united the police, and several citizens, and secured the neighboring states of Sinaloa and Sonora. However, while in a campaign in Zacatecas, Devan was shot and killed by a resisting citizen. In honor of his memory, the capital city of the union was named Zoraster in his honor. Unknown to most of the citizens, the dug leaders were killed in yet another bloody coup by ten scholars attending the University Of Mexico. They quickly installed a government based off of Aristotle’s and Plato’s ideals, and made Latin the official language of the country, in recognition of Spanish’s roots. The Kiyy now look to Nuevo León, and Tamaulipas for a path to the Gulf Of Mexico. The Kiyy use a very interesting governmental system. a. Prime Ruler Chosen by the Democratic Assembly, the Prime Ruler is a citizen chosen not by connections, money, or power, but worth as a ruler. They are allowed to chose a citizen, one that is not a Aristocratic Advisor, or one who is currently serving a term in the Democratic Assembly. This citizen will demonstrate his worth as a ruler, by undergoing investigations and tests. The Prime Ruler can overrule the Aristocratic Advisors, but any action he does can be overruled by the Democratic Assembly. The prime ruler usually serves from twenty to about sixty, but terms can change. The Prime Ruler can be ousted by a unanimous vote of the Democratic Assembly, and his term ending can be suggested by the Aristocratic Advisors, but must be approved by the Democratic Assembly. b.Aristocratic Advisors The Aristocratic Advisors are more of aide de camps of the Prime Ruler. His power is divided amongst them, and they help the Prime Ruler carry out his job. The most important Aristocratic Advisors include; Arc. Of Internal: Oversees protection for the Prime Ruler, other Aristocratic Advisors, and the Democratic Assembly. Spies and other intelligence information is routed through this Arc. first. Arc. of Education: Oversees public education, providing funds and is allowed to request the building of new schools, libraries, or public centers. Also oversees public lands such as parks and nature reserves, guarding laws over hunting and education. Arc. Of Science: Oversees new developments of the nation, and designates what the nation should be researching. Oversees building, electrical, and other standards (codes). Under protocol he reports to the Democratic Assembly when new technology has been discovered. Arc. Of Commercial: After the invention of ‘Credit’ systems, and the Great Market Crash, credit was quickly outlawed, and a monetary system exists now that works better. (Debit cards however, are allowed.) Money is issued in both Seos(Coins) and Secae(Dollars) Seos are issued in divisions of .5, .10, .15, .25, and .50’s. Secae are issued in divisions of 1.00, 3.00, 5.00, 10.00, 15.00, 20.00, 50.00, and 100.00’s. The Arc. Of Commercial also oversees the finances of the Kiyy, and laws concerning economy, such as laws against counterfeit money, and fraud. There are also several laws in place to protect consumers. Arc. Of Security: Oversees and co-manages the military with the Democratic Council, and decides which military pursuits shall be followed. c.
