OK, I changed my mind. This WILL require mod approval since I'm really bending things here with my ship listing and Yards. If thats a no go I'll just just remove the Star Destroyers and up/Yards bigger then 500m and run with that. It doesn't bother me ethier way.
It's a republic faction since I felt that was more interesting. Former friends as 'traditional' enemies and vise versa. Betrayal to the left, ^*& that have 'angered' them for years to the right. Toff Chance – Sith bait CORELLIAN SECTOR CIVILIANS: CEO Cen Barig: CEO of Nubian Aerospace Conglomerate. Bern bel-Iblis HISTORY: General History (courtesy of Coyote) Several years ago, the Corellian Sector decided to adopt an Imperial government system because of the promise of security (and in the hopes they wouldn't get swallowed up by the SWE). The Governor, however, was weak and not very charismatic, and one day he was replaced by Grand Admiral Galak Fyyar (the truth is the former governor was killed by Darth Venge, but most people don't know or believe that). Galak Fyyar led the Corellian Empire very well, although it was a police state. When the Senex Imperium was corrupted by Hutt agents, and looked about to fall and be taken over by the UAP, the Corellians stepped in to negotiate a deal and absorbed the Senex Imperium and Corellian Empire into one government. It was a welcome arrangement, making the Corellian-Senex Imperium (or just 'the Imperium') into a powerful Imperial government. Many Corellians were lukewarm to Imperial government, however, and tolerated it only as long as they got tangible benefits from it (security, economy, etc). There were always those who disliked the Imperials and sought to drive them out; for example Thrackan Sal-Solo attempted to use Centerpoint Station to stage a revolution and take over as Diktat. His plot was thwarted by Imperium allies in the Moddell Federation (and with some secret help from the Sith no one knows about). The gravity gun was destroyed, but the interdictor-generator was undamaged. Thrackan Sal-Solo was taken into custody and imprisoned, his revolution ended but Chancellor Fyyar did bring about some reforms in the Imperial government and re-formed CORSEC. All was well until the Yuuzhan Vong invaded, and the government was forced to retreat. Despite fighting alongside allies such as the SWE, Frontier, Trade Federation and the Mandalorians, the YV inavded the Corellian Sector and Chancellor Fyyar gave the order to abandon the sector in order to buy time, and set up government in the Senex Sector, which was untouched by war. The Corellian Sector became a ravaged battlefield as CORSEC and Ubiqtorite volunteers, as well as civilian partisans, fought desperately against the Yuuzhan Vong while the rest of the Galaxy made plans to spring a trap on the aliens. The gravity well at Centerpoint Station wa sused to trap the Vong in place, and ther allied fleets were able to pick the Vong off at long range and at their liesure from outside the gravity well. Now, the gravity well has been dropped, and the allied fleets are moving in to mop up the Vong. A mass planetary invasion is planned, called Operation Overlord, that will see the simultaneous landings of Army forces on every Vong-held planet in the Sector to smash the YV occupation armies on the ground. Still, many in the Corellian Sector felt that Imperial promises of security were lies, and they were used as cannon fodder to slow down the Vong while the Imperials retreated to the safety and comfort of the Senex sector. As liberation is at hand (the last Vong fleet is getting wiped out, the ground invasions are ready to go on a word), the Corellians are ready to fight for freedom-- first from the Vong, and then from their own Imperial government if need be. What they don't know is that Darth Venge, the secret power behind the throne, has already told Chancellor Fyyar about the plot, and advised him to just let the Corellian Sector go free, since it'd cost too much to rebuild it and drain too many resources fighting a civil war. Additional History – The Bloodstripe Conspiracy All of the above events happened as stated and the Corellian sector enjoyed many years of prosperity under the imperial rule. With the merger of Corellian and Senex territory however a portion of the older military and business worlds started to really question if this was what was best for the Corellian people. With more and more decisions seeming to be coming from Senex or focused on its needs these very same power brokers began to prepare for the worst, that the people of Corellia were no longer in control . Digging into the underworld they discovered the remains of the pro-New Republic forces hidden within the sector and eventually merged with them gaining or later building hidden shipyards and a force of warships. Spreading out from this starting point they absorbed other moderate dissidents and built up their power both within the government and with the general public. It was the Conspirators that pushed Tharkan Sal-Solo into attempting his coup against the Imperium in order to turn the eyes of the galaxy, and more importantly the Imperials intelligence department, away from them when they started to come to close for comfort. With the quiet and deniable assistance from certain elements of both the UAP and SAS intelligence departments they have been able to build up an impressive infiltration of the government in the Sector including counting many of the highest Ministers among their ranks. With the Vong invasion of the Corellian Sector and the abandonment of the Corellian people to their fate by Imperial government the Conspirators instigated a massive recruitment and PR campaign across the Sector, recruiting entire government departments, planetary governors and swaying the desperate people towards the idea that there was a new government in waiting to step in and save them. When the Vong overran a planet the Conspiracy armed and trained the remaining people as best it could, ordering them to hide and wait for the moment of liberation. With Operation Overlord poised to begin the Confederation has sent out the word that now is the time to move. On occupied planets the gorilla forces rise up while free planets declare their allegiance as the Confederations fleet drops out of Hyperspace in the Corellia system. The revolution has begun. Keep in mind that the largest ground invasion in history is about to take place all over your soil.
And This sounds very little like a Republic to me. Very.

Republic is my faction choice for ships. They will have elections for the Diktat, empires don't . It's also completely democratic from the planetary level down on a 5 year cycle. They just have bad memories of the Old Republic and use this method to get things done quickly when necessary.

Dark Primus, any opinions on my compromise for synthetic kolcta and some of the hard facts on how capable is standard and Thyferran Bacta?
I am looking to produce them because in my opinion, this would courage UAP's Thyferra to release Thyferran bacta to partial with kolcta as interim solution while working on some sort of super-bacta to a direct competitor. It would be a true competition rather than monopoly. ![]() If you are not UAP government, I couldn't see any governments sucking up to UAP for Bacta and they wouldn't want doing it for next centuries. It's economic blackmail and outright monopoly. The Mandalorians have no intention of establish monopoly on Kolcta as they like competition, it nicely fit in their chaotic idealogy - stronger prevail, weak persist. Yes, from what I researched on their culture, they have some B5 Shadow-quse elements in their culture.

There is a mention in the SW Legacy comics where a Dark Jedi lost his arm by a cut from a lightsaber, and another Dark Jedi said it was a clean cut and shouldn't be a problem to retach it. I assume that is with the help of bacta too. So retaching lost limbs may not be as far fetched after all. But it is a process that will most likely take several days to heal.

We know that the firepower of OTL's Nebula-class SDs were said to have an edge over ISD-IIs in the firepower. It would be reasonable to have Corellian battleships as alternative.

Oh, didn't reallise. That's fine.
I'll sub it for Corellia - class Star Destroyers (BC) [Star Destroyers]... 1600m... (14month)+. Since for the life of me I can't find specs I've increased build time to compensate for the greater firepower. The 'egg' battleships. I dislike the name 'corellian battleship' . Though I'll use that 2nd 3d model for the look.Need to add a couple of points to my fleet total since they're full SDs. And while I'm at it. Strident - class Star Defender (BC) [Heavy Star Destroyer]... 6,250m... 18months ++

Shad4c, I would recommend that you should use HLAF-500 starfighters, they are one of most fastest starfighters out there, potentialy rivaling the fastest A-Wing variant.
They would make excellent lightweight starfighters and interceptor, they would be basically equalivent to USAF's F-16s while E-wings would be like F-15 Eagle.
