These aren't the clones you were expecting...

Today's R.O.B. is feeling particularly mischievous, and decides to have some fun with the Star Wars universe. Travailing to Kamino some time before the events of Attack Of The Clones, he plays around with the cloning equipment: removing Jango Fett's DNA and replacing it with that of another human.

To be more precise, that of Sergeant Major Avery J. Johnson, UNMC.

ROB also removes the conditioning that makes the clones 100% loyal to the Chancellor: they are instead loyal to The Galactic Republic and the ideals for which it stands. They maintain Johnson's personality and temperament, and perhaps more importantly, his SPARTAN-I augmentations.

How will this affect forthcoming events?

That'll make it pretty one-sided.

Well, they make you Flood-proof, and seem to increase stamina/strength to a certain degree.

Knowing Johnson, he'd probably fuck up Order 66 and kick the guy's ass for pressing the order. Then take over the republic and make it a true republic by getting rid of the unwanted and corrupted, especially Palp.

He is, after all, only loyal to the Republic.

Depends. The clones were hardwired to obey that order without question. Are we to assume the same for the Johnson clones?

Yes, but the OP states that their underlying loyalty it to the Republic, not the Chancellor.

That's a very important distinction.

Chancellor "Execute order 66"

Johnson Clone "Yes Sir"

To the other clones "You heard the man, execute order 6 6: eliminate all threats to the Republic. Might as well start at the top and work our way down"
