My keyboard isn't working

For some reason when I turned my computer on this morning, my wireless keyboard wasn't working. I checked the connection and the batteries and I couldn't find anything wrong. So I plugged in my old wired one and that one isn't working either.

You guys got any ideas?

Assuming you can still get into the OS and mouse around (and assuming you're using Windows of some sort), are there any error codes in Device Manager for the keyboard(s)? Are the keyboards USB or PS2?

And failing that, go into Admin tools and check Event Viewer for any faults.

If any appear there post them here

I had the same thing happen with my wireless keyboard too, a few months back. Never figured out what was wrong and had to go back to my old one.

On boot can you use your keyboard[s] to access stuff like the BIOS menu? If it is USB can you tried it in different USB ports. If PS/2 have you tried a USB keyboard?
