Yep, Canada's still here
ORDER OF BATTLE OF CANADA
AS OF August, 1943 Nation: Commonwealth of Canada Prime Minister: John Naralak (fake, but people didn't like the otherone) Population: ~13 million Government: Commonwealth and Democratic Government Capital: Ontario Currancy: Dollar ($) Industry: Stable and Improving Economy: average, imroving Advantages: * Strong Navy. * Strong Police Force. Mounted Royal Canadian Police is the most respected police in the world. * Strong Economy. Large amounts of Oil fields still undiscovered, but several already in place. * Part of the British Commonwealth, means close alliance and strong relationships with Britain and its allies. * Fairly advanced Air Force, but small. * Lumber camps allow Canada to improve its economy. * All major factories Government owned. Disadvantages: * Weak Military, but strong police. * Due to cold, most drilling equipment and other specialist equipment is not escorted, because of losses. * Lots of Ice, meaning low number of ship trade. * Because of the cold, farming is minimal. NAVY --------- Battleship(1): HMCS Sovereign (form. BB-33 U.S.S. Arkansas) Carriers(2): Light Fleet Aircraft Carriers - 5 squadrons each HMCS Magnificent(under countruction, march 1945) Escort Aircraft Carriers - 2 squadrons each HMCS White Fang (form. Sorry abbout the Gato-subs. It's my old OOB and I haven't upgraded it yet.
French Antilles, French Guianna 1st Naval Fleet consisting of the aircraft-carrier Chimu, battleship Rivadavia, cruiser Vertinico-De-Mayo and frigates Espora, Rosales, Spiro, Parker, Robinson and Gomez Roca are withdrawing to Venezuela so as to prevent strikes by foreign forces. Venezuelan Airspace Four airwings of P-40 Fighters headed out from their hardened shelters and taxied to the runways. Each of the our military commands had a full wing on CAP for protection.

The crews of the DC-3/C-47's are three per aircraft plus one per Spearfish/P-40. That equals 2496. The Technical Deployment is mechanics and such.

--------THE NETHERLANDS--------
----------AS OF 1943---------- Nation: Koninkrijk der Nederlanden - Kingdom of the Netherlands President: Marcel Debbie Population: ~14 million Government: Parliamentary Monarchy Capital: Amsterdam - Government seat at Den Haag. Currancy: Gueld (G), Reichmark (R), US Dollars ($US), Peso (p) Industry: Poor - Improving. Merchant-Marine: Excellent. Economy: Average - Improving. Resources: - Huge sources of farming, Peat, and oil. - Fishing: $120B, - Peat: $220B - Farming: $300B, - Oil: $45B, - Other: $12B. Territories: Netherlands Antilles, Suriname, Dutch East Indies. CURRENT MILITARY ACTION: None. Advantages: * Strong Navy. Careening and Fishing add to great shipbuilding and strong navy defense. * Strong Army = High Conscription Rate. * Growing Economy. Large amounts of cultivated land add to the low landscape, and gives the Netherlands a great leap in the economy field. * Food Surplus. The Netherlands has much food to give, and can count as a strong advantage to the nation. * Strong alliances - peaceful nation. Disadvantages: * Limited production plants. No strong building in Factories, meaning production levels are low (except in docks). This is now being upgraded. * Very low land. This means that the Netherlands has depression points ie. Lower than sea level, meaning floods. Man-made dams and inlets provide some cover. * Extremely poor air force numbers. * Pilots not very well trained - though training is improving. * Older, less advanced equipment - this also improving. -------- --------ORDER OF BATTLE-------- -----------AS OF 1946----------- --------NAVY:-------- Standing Units: - 50,000 NAVAL SHIPS: Fleets: Nederlands Coast Marine Consists: - Several patrol boats (pre 1920s) - 5 "new" patrol boats (1920s) Stationed at: Amsterdam. 1st Koninkrijk Marine Nederlanden - Royal Netherlands Navy (RNN) Fleet: - 1 cruiser: HMNLS Jacob Van Heemskerck, command vessel - several K-1 patrol boats stationed at Amsterdam. AMENDMENT TO PREVIOUS POST
----- IC: French Guianna, French Antilles Aboard the HMNLS Jacob Van Heemskert, Captain Jacob Umstrend sighed as he read the orders. He just recieved news of the Japanese invasion at Indochina. Alliance duties required the Netherlands to enter the war with them. Umstrend put the note down, and ordered his XO to shift their course - to the French Antilles. FORCES SENT: - 2nd, 3rd and 4th Air Unit (paradrop) - All ships stationed at the Dutch Antilles and Suriname, and all ships currently involved in wargames. French Polynesia, New Caledonia Hearing the sound of the alarms go off, the officers quickly made their way to the bridge of the HMNLS Java to recieve news of the events about to unfold. There, Vice-Admiral Hans Helfrich stood awaiting the officers, his hands neatly placed in the small of his back. He stood there proudly, as he awaited each to enter the bridge. Then he spoke "Sailors, today the Japanese declared war on the French in Indochina. According to our alliance duties, we are to also begin patrols in this area and rid the French ships. "Therefore, active from today, patrols will be hastened around the Indies and the home islands in Japan, and we will also scour the area around Australia for any signs of French vessels. Should they surrender - hopefully - then we shall be able to go home. Should they fight - God be with us. "When our forces in the Caribbean have finished fighting there, they will make their ways here, to the Indies, and help us fight the naval battle and conquer the Polynesian islands and New Caledonia. "Until that time, no further news will come in or out of this ship - we are to remain silent, and only high-ranking officers may send messages - and then only to other ships in the fleet. Understood? Good. "Then let us go forth, and defend our isles. For it is one of the last things we have left..." A cheer and applause session proceeded, and Vice-Admiral Helfrick smiled. They were going to finally see action.

USA Actions:
Gulf Coast bases put on alert. All Dutch warships barred form passage through the Panama Canal. All Dutch merchant ships wishing to pass throuhg the canal must agree to and be searched. No Dutch ships bearing war supplies of any kind will be allowed passage. No Dutch ships which do not submit to searching will be allowed passage. The United States condemns the unprovoked acts of war against the Republic of France. US Naval Forces exercising around the Philippines put on full alert status. The wargames are on hold.

![]() ----- IC: Den Haag, Netherlands "They WHAT?" President Marcel Debbie shouted. His fellow senators and politicians seemed worried, but he Vice-President, Hans Gutten, did not seem disturbed. Maybe that was why he spoke first; "Mr. President, sir, we really do not need those troops from the Caribbean in the Indies. All we wanted was back-up. But we can ask the Japanese to lend it to us - its their war we're fighting here. "And that is all we will be doing - after the French withdraw from the Polynesian and Caribbean islands, and submit at Guianna, then we will return to the peaceful nation we were - that is ALL the treaty asked us to do. Hopefully the US sees this also, and will not be involved." One of the senators laughed "Ha! If the US get involved, the next Great War will start!" All around laughed, but inside their hearts they knew it would be true - but for the moment, it was only a myth...

In Tokyo, Yamamoto asks his advisors, "Just what the hell are the Dutch doing?! We didn't want all of this to happen!"
Actions: French troops have begun putting up stiffer resistance, although Japan has achieved total supremacy of the seas and air superiority over all of northern Indochina. Nguyen Ai Quoc has been invited to begin forming an Indochinese government to take control after France has been driven out. All Japanese citizens have been asked to leave Canada, and merchant shipping has been told to leave all Canadian waters. To the World: The Empire of Japan was not informed as to Dutch actions against France. Our intentions were merely to liberate the peoples of Indochina and allow them to decide how they are governed. To the United States: The Empire of Japan unilaterally declares that we will not commit any acts of aggression against your nation or it's Pacific holdings. The Emperor wishes only the most peaceful of relationships with your great land. To France: We are not responsible for the attacks by the Dutch upon your Western Hemisphere holdings. If you withdraw from Indochina willingly, we will gladly end this conflict, and will not support the Dutch in their unprovoked assault. *Secret* To Germany and Italy: We are disgusted that the Dutch used our alliance to mount their own operations against France, thus jeopardizing our own actions in support of Nguyen Ai Quoc. We ask that you apply diplomatic pressure to make them stop, should the French leave Indochina. *Secret* To the Netherlands: Our alliance does not extend to activities in the Western Hemisphere. Once France has been driven from Indochina we wish no further conflict with them, and you will be on your own. The Empire of Japan cannot afford another Great War at this time, and that is precisely what you will start on your current course.

1st Naval Fleet
"Admiral Cortez, the troops have been informed about the cancelation of the landings," the commander of the battleship Rivadavia informed the Fleet Commander. "Good. The American response to the Dutch consolidation of power was to be expected. At least we hadn't landed. What about the airborne force that was to be landed?" "It turned around. All flights have been cancelled to Suriname and the Netherland Antilles. Also the Airforce hs four wings of P-40 fighters up. No fighters will get through that." "The Dutch should have waited for a more opertune time, but their stupidity and pride has made them believe that there would be no response. If they had only waited a year or two then maybe they could have won, but no they had to have the Antilles all to themselves now. We must be ready for an attack. Once we are within fighter coverage I want a wing to protect us from any Dutch attacks. Their forces will be bogged down once the French and their Allies launch attacks." "Aye Sir." -------------------- To the Netherlands:[Coded] Your operation was a failure. You have brought the powers of the world upon yourself. Do not expect any military help.

President Ibanez sat in his office at the Presidential Palace. He remembered the meeting that he had had with the military and intelligence sections of the government. And they were right. The plan did fail. French Indochina Colonel Navara had spent six weeks in the piss hole of French Indochina and had finally decided that it was time to leave. The leaders of the Viet Cong had not come and met him so there was no point in him remaining. He boarded the British transport bound for India and thought what could have been.
