Battle of Philippine Sea - Force Add
Is this enough to tip the battle in the Japanese favor or will the improved aircraft, radar, and other factors still lead to an American Victory? Edit: Assume that the Japanese have enough fuel to support the force and all the aircraft.

I am posting from memory, so some things maybe wrong.
I don't know are You saying all jap pilots are good or just Akagi,Kaga,Soryu, Hiryu ones. USN had 8 CV 8 CVL and 7CVE IJN has 7 CV 2CVL 3 CVE and two Hiyo class basically big CVE's Japans naval aviators launched 100+ planes in OTL with for more decks they will have additional 80 planes giving them 180+ attack sortie. US have almost 300 fighters on CAP in the air. Marian turkey shoot is still a go. With more losses for the Hellcats but still. Japan still loses. The planes will hit some use carriers but I dont think they will sink any. Maybe one Priceton Class CVL at best(or worst depending who You are) get sunk. |
