Do we need the Newbie forum back?

I'm all for welcoming the new guys, its an important part of the initiation

. But most newcomers don't seem to know the best place to post their entrance, and the welcome topics seem to be cluttering the main board. Opinions?

I would be a good idea. But make sure a cerain somone is forbiden to post in it, you know who I am talking about.

I've heard Laird nuked the Newbie forum, but I never understood why nobody put it back in place?

) nuked it during The Hour of hell, and it wasn't put back up because it was gonna be tooken away any ways and they just decided to do it then because it was messed up any ways.

oh and we do need it back, though poking should be kept to a minimum (I really can't believe I just said that but w/e)

No there should not be a newbie forum...cause it was a vile spamming place I cleaned it up when I was the first and only newbie mod...newbies were polite...but when I retired it turned out newbies like Captain sheridan and Mentallyretarded kid,mr pink...etc...so when I got my admin powers I vaporized it and They will never be comming back.
