Evangelion SD/RPG anyone?

Sounds a little interesting, but see,s pretty restricting when it comes to characters... We would either need to add more to the story or replace old characters and play out the story in a different way..

If we have to be people from the series, I call Aeoba, the scientist/air guitarist/uzi shooter.


If we can be original, I will either be

1. A spy that works for America, Britain, Germany, Russia, or another Western power.

2. A perky NERV techie who is also an ingenious hacker and mechanic. She doesn't know that the Evas are actually biological and will be quite displeased when she does.

Sounds intresting but we need a *Ikari limiter in effect, to much angst will overload average SB user, anime vets or not.

I share Groo's sentiment. If we are allowed to have an alternate ending, I will participate.

My character:
Colonel Robert "Bob" O'Larry.
American UN officer assigned to liase with NERV. He is to advise and assist Gendo, while reporting back to his superiors.
Bob is generally a cheerful, happy person who enjoys his work. He is prone to pessimism when the situation turns bad. He has a good sense of humor and is always ready with a witty sarcastic remark. He doesn't pretend to understand anything about the EVAs or Angels. In the areas of math and science he is something of a dunce, but in terms of common sense, the man is a genius. He is fluent in Japanese and English.

You can make charecters of take existing ones. (As long as their alive during EoE), also, if we go by this idea things like, Misato's death, Asuka's death and Third Impact don't have to happen. With the last one it will NOT happen.

I never liked her dying. I liked it even less then Ritsuko being shot by that rat bastard Gendo. I deliberately rewrote a fanfic so there was a different ending. As I might use it if this Sd pans out I won't tell you too much except Misato's answering machine has a different message from Kaji.

In which case.... I call UN special forces team leader/member... Not attached to the JSSDF but relief force to NERV. Please note that the team will be horribly outnumbered and outgunned and will only manage to buy more time at best once and if the attacke sets in.

If Azrael agrees to let me to it that is.

I actually like the idea of starting at/near the beginning of the series and working our way through the Angels first. I really designed my character with that kind of story in mind, but its your call.

We could do something like 1 episode=1 real week. Problem is, we'll need someone to do all the characters that no one wants (Asuka, Gendo, etc.) IN all the scenes. Whoever did that would probably have to work his ass off to keep up with both the episodes' plot and the PC's.

I'm not totally adverse to the idea of starting at EoE. My Western spy would, like Rouge 11, try to defend the NERV compound. He'd find Gendo pointing the gun at Ritsuko in front of Adam and, according to my fanfic, blow the bastard to hell. Afterwords, he might spill everything to the Western powers. Once more in my fanfic, these would seceed from the UN and start WWIII.


Long story short, I would personally prefer that we start from the top.

I claim Asuka then and my orginal. the director of personal under the assistant supervisors of the Director of Operatons and Research. (Ie Misato and Ritsuko) Shinori Kiyoshi. I even worked in His father's work on the 02 activation trial in Germany and transfer to Nerv main branch in Tokyo-3 after his "accidental" death.

You know, I just thought of another possible character. Something like a pilot of one of those attack hovercrafts or whatever they're called. Against orders, he would probably tell his squadren to disengage the 1st episode's angel. It's not like they were hurting the thing, and once the pilots saw that they would probably flee anyway.

I'll have to think about it.

They are just referred to as NERV or UN VTOL Attack craft or just VTOLs.

the Vtol's are pretty sweet in action even if they don't do the angels any harm. if it was a more conventional force they tear them a new one. I'm thinking about my guy being a vtol cpable flyer. It be a different model then the Un ones though. More jet like. I kept toying with a kamikaze run on an angel with a n2 mine.

I'm working on a character bio, but I can't decide if my character will have Russian or Scottish ancestory.

Because it looks rather cool if they draw it right. my guy won't. he did it in another rpg because his sister was an Eva pilot at the lter end of the Rpg.
