YOU in a fictional universe

Probably the Honorverse; join the Mantie navy or Marines.
Timeframe would be most likely around six months before On Basilisk Station.

Star Trek Earth, about 5 years after the end of the Dominion War.
No, make that Risa. ![]() And as job... I'll try to become a holodeck-novel tester. Free fun. Of course with my knowledge of the ST universe, I won't test a new novel without a personal shield generator, a strong communicator, a personal transporter device and a medkit. Oh, and a phaser.

The Culture of course...it would let me do what I've always wanted to...be in the Culture and bitching about it.

Honorverse, as a member of the Nobility, party affiliation would be The Crown Loyalists. I would also probably be a member of the RMN.
Time period, right after War of Honor. I would lead the battle to have the previous coalition government declared traitors and sentenced to death for treason against the crown.

The second part of the last clause has got to go. If I go, five other people are coming with me. (My girlfriend and four closest friends.) If it helps, they'd all come willingly. (We've actually promised each other that if something like this were possible, we wouldn't go without bringing the others along.)
And the universe in question would most likely be Star Wars, Slayersverse, or Honorverse. If in Star Wars, it'd be during the golden age of the Republic, roughly two generations before the events of Episode 1. Occupation would be independent freighter pilot (With my friends being my crew.) In Slayers, I'd enter three years or so before the Slayers Motion Picture. No interest in interfering with events. Oh, and I'd be a wandering priest or a Shamanist Mage. In Honorverse, I'd likely be a native of Sphinx ir Gryphon, again, operating an independent light warship which would offer its services to freighters passing through pirate-infested territory (Silesia.) A 'Cat would be cool, but I don't need one.

Honorverse, Manty BattleCruiser Commander. Shortly after War of Honor. First thing, visit Sphinx and hope I get adopted. If not, head to Grayson, become a Harrington Armsman, and get to see the most prominent 'cats in history. And hopefully meet Nimitz.

Apperantly the Culture is the place to be so I choose that.
And if not that, Star Trek after Nemesis. Give me a Holodeck, a replicator and a power supply and I'll be happy. And if not that, I will become a Technomage, Galen level of course.

Some nice Culture Orbital, after the big war, like it was hard to choose that universe.
In theory, the culture have the tech to recreate any other universes for me to enjoy myself in.

Star Wars, probably just after the Clone Wars. I'd be a freighter pilot who makes itinerant stops at Zeltros and Ryloth (Twi Lek Homeworld).
