Circles Transformed

In the vast reaches of space, a ship suddenly appeared out of nowhere. It was a dangerous looking ship. It was brisling with weapons and on the hull was a massive symbol. It was to spread fear across the galaxy. It was the Scream of the Stars, the flag ship of the lethal pirate band known as the Destrongers.

They were feared across the galaxy and plundered and conquered any planet they please. They left a trail of destruction in their wake. Their exploits were the stuff of legends. Nothing could stand in their way!

However that was what they believed (or wanted to believe) their reputation was. In truth the group was a bunch of bumbling losers. Their leader had delusions of grandeur and barely could lead his pirate crew.

Gigatron looked out at the stars from his quarters. He also saw a ghostly reflection of himself. In these quiet moments he felt so hollow and empty. He wanted to blaze a trail of destruction and conquest that even the mighty Megatron would envy. But instead he was a loser. It was almost enough to make him want to get really drunk off energon. He prayed to Primus and Unicron and several other deities he could think of for him gain more power. He hungered for more power. If he can’t lead on his grasp of strategy and tactics, then he wanted to have enough power to make others follow him out of fear. It worked for Galvatron.

On the bridge of the Scream of the Stars was Hellscream. The black seeker wondered what brought him to this. He was second banana to a fool and he couldn’t see anyway out of the situation. If he hadn’t failed that raid on that Autobot research station he wouldn’t have fallen this low.

Hellscream was sitting in a throne like command chair and looking down on the pilot and gunner. It was like a monarch looking down on his subjects. No wonder Gigatron liked this chair. It was the only way for him to feel important.

“I’m bored” Hellscream heard Spittor, the gunner mutter. Hellscream agreed with him. It had been over three months since they did a major raid.

“What a boring system” the pilot said.

In front of them was a desert world that looked dead. A pity it wasn’t that. It was Z’ha’Dum. Suddenly several black spider-like ships appeared out of nowhere and attacked the Scream of the Stars. The ship shook under the force from the blasts the spider ships were firing and the lights dimmed.

“Let those ships have it!” Hellscream yelled.

Spittor smiled evilly and fired the main weapons at the spider ships. The ships didn’t stand still and seemed to either vanish or could teleport like Skywarp could.

“Report” Gigatron yelled as he entered and stumbled onto the bridge.

“We have no idea what those things are other than they’re really well armed” Hellscream said.

“Destroy them!” Gigatron yelled.

“What do you think I’m trying to do for Primus’s sake” Spittor thought as he fired on the Shadow vessels. One of the energy bolts hit a spider ship and blew it up. This enraged the other spider ships and they tripled their attack on the Scream of the Stars.

Suddenly the bridge was opened up by a blast from a shadow vessel and had explosive decompression. Though this would be a way to die for a humanoid species, all it did to the Destrongers was annoy them.

“Follow me, my Destronger army! Gigatron yelled and transformed into jet mode.

If Hellscream was organic he would have rolled his eyes.

“How much more corny and cliché can you get?” Hellscream thought as he transformed into jet mode.

The Shadow vessels killed several Destrongers before Gigatron made it onto the surface of Z’ha’Dum. Gigatron saw that there were energy readings underground.

“You”Gigatron yelled at a Destronger with a drill tank vehicle form “Whoever has those vessels lives underground.”

“Got it boss” Scavenger said before transforming and starting to drill.

“I want everyone with drills and piledrivers to do the same”Gigatron ordered. Several other Destrongers started drilling and using their piledrivers to dig towards the subterranean energy sources.

It didn’t take the Destrongers long to find a dark city that formed in shapes found in nightmares. They also saw many aliens they had never seen before…and several humans. Or at least they appeared to be humans.

One of those humans walked up to the Destrongers and said “What do you want?”

“You’re either very brave or very stupid…though for a human it’s not hard to be both” Gigatron said.

The human chuckled and the Destrongers noticed several aliens around him. They appeared to be mixes of spiders and something out the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The Destrongers felt a bit uneasy around these creatures. They felt a lot more malevolent than the Quintessons ever did. However Gigatron felt they could give him want he desired.

One the spider aliens said something to the human.

“What do you want?” the human asked again.

Gigatron knew in his spark that he had found what he was looking for. He would have the power he desired and he would crush his enemies. Nothing was going to stand his way. Not even the Autobots.

“I want the power to destroy my enemies” Gigatron said.

“That can be arranged” the human said.

“I am Gigatron, Emperor of Destruction and leader of the Destrongers” Gigatron said.

The Shadows were amused at Gigatron calling himself something grandiose as emperor of destruction. Those types always were the easiest to wrap around their fingers and make for great pawns.

The dark creatures known as the Shadows awakened early and the circle changed. Of course the Shadows didn’t have any idea what a mess they were going to make for themselves and the Vorlons because of it…

The Shadows and Vorlons had become enamored with messing with the younger races to prove who was right. They were stiff and unyielding. They were not an enlightened source of wisdom, in fact they were even more childish in their ways than the supposed races that needed their wisdom and guidance.

One race had avoided their gaze until that fateful day in 2190. That race was the Transformers, a race of sentient machines from the planet Cybertron. Their homeworld wandered the universe and their various colonies were spread across the galaxy.

The Shadows and the Vorlons never came across any of those colonies and never heard of Cybertron. Of course if they had they would be worried beyond belief. A race of beings far older than even them, and with technologies far different than they let the younger races had. Now the Shadows knew of the Transformers. However their example was the lowest and bumbling of the race.

The Shadows figured the Transformers were all like the Destrongers. Powerful, but not that wise. They where intelligent enough to design incredible weapons and ships, but they could run circles around them and bend them to their will.

It was an utterly wrong assumption. One that would cost the Shadows dearly…

The year is 2260. Though that didn’t matter much to Hotspot as he viewed Earth on a monitor and hoped President Clark was not the power hunger dictator he appeared to be. Clark reminded him far too much of a certain serpentine terrorist commander than he liked.

In another monitor was a view of the human lunar cities on the moon. Hotspot was surprised that will all the exploration of the solar system and of neighboring stars that the Autobot Lunar base remained unknown to humans. Then again the Centuri and the Minbari were unable to detect the base either.

“The Minbari” Hotspot thought. He had been in command of the base for 40 years before the Minbari war. It sickened him that any one race would try to exterminate another race over the loss of a leader and wounded pride. The only other thing that he hated about the Minbari war was that at that time the Decepticons (and especially the offshoot the Destrongers) were extremely active and the Autobots couldn’t send enough forces to make a dent in the Minbari. Or send in Omega Supreme.

After the Minbari War, that flare up of the Decepticons ended and the Destrongers seemed to vanish to lick their wounds. Of course that the Destrongers went from a joke to a transorganic powerhouses was surprising. However it didn’t help they had slag for tactics and could barely work together. So they were beaten back and vanished after the battle for Planet Micro.

After the battles the Autobot Lunar base was given more troops and expanded. No one on Earth even noticed the expansion of the Autobot Lunar base. Now it had enough fighters, and firepower to battle a spacefleet, and enough troops on hand to make a fight on the moon very ugly. Not to mention Defensor.

It was then that a young Autobot named Nightcruz ran into Hotspot’s office.

“Commander…Clark has declared martial law and intends to destroy any colonies that disobey him” Nightcruz said.

“And here I was hoping he’d just be a parasitic xenophobe that would end up just making a lot of noise and eventually be voted out of office” Hotspot said.

“It gets worse sir, he made himself dictator and the moon is one of the colonies resisting him” Nightcruz said.

“Ready the aerial Autobots and arm the weapons as soon as the Earthforce ships get in range”Hotspot ordered.

“Yes sir” Nightcruz said before leaving.

Hotspot sent a communication to Cybertron. It read “Send Omega Supreme, Countdown and the Aerialbots to Babylon 5…the worse is coming to pass.”
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Morgan Clark felt like he was king of all he surveyed. Well maybe not yet, but all he had to was put down a few traitors and he would be. The Moon, Mars, and a few other colonies would fall in line with a few displays of force. The only place he expected any trouble was from Babylon 5. However he had more ships than they ever would and could cut them off from their supplies if he couldn’t beat them head on.

He was so close to his goal with the help of Mr. Morden and his associates and of course some help from the Psi-Corps and Bureau 13. He charged nothing about the aliens, or anything but power. All the power he could have.

It was then that Murphy decided to flip Clark the bird.

Bureau 13 agent Owen Shaw entered Clark’s office. The somewhat lanky spy saw his reflection on a mirror behind Clark and seemed to grimace at the sight of it.

“Mr. President I have dire news” Owen said coldly. Clark had never heard the man talk any other way. Almost as if he couldn’t stand anyone. Clark didn’t care as long as Shaw gave him results and gave him access to some of the resources of Bureau 13.

“What is it?” Clark demanded.

“It appears that the Moon has greater defenses than we knew of” Owen said.

“What?” Clark said.

“It is best to for me to show you” Owen said.

A monitor beside Clark turned on and Clark saw something he never expected to see. On the monitor was what happened on the Moon. It started with several Hyperions lead by an Omega orbiting Earth’s moon. With them were several squadrons of Starfuries.

“This is Captain Clayton of the EAS Gilgamesh, surrender or be destroyed” Captain Conrad Clayton of the Omega Gilgamesh said.

A slightly synthesized voice said “No”. That was all that needed to be said before all hell broke loose.

Weapons batteries came out literally came up out of the ground and opened fire on the ships. The energy bolts cut through the ships like a chainsaw through hot butter. It was like the armor wasn’t even there. The ships tried to do evasive maneuvers but they were too slow and sluggish for them to matter. Those ships weren’t worth anything more than scrap. Any Starfuries that were hit you could there wasn’t enough left of the pilot to take home in a coat pocket.

Then several parts of the lunar landscape retracted and runaways were reveled. Out came a horde of jets. Many looked alien, yet several were…aircraft from the 1980s to the current day?

All the planes did maneuvers that would turn a pilot into a bloody mess in the cockpit, even in a Starfury, and were far more gentle than the lunar defenses. They fought to disable.

However that wasn’t much of a disadvantage as the Starfury squadrons had degenerated into mobs of headless chickens running away from the fight and toward Earth or Mars or anywhere away from the moon. They were running scared from a threat that utterly devastated their ships and with it their resolve.

Then several square mile portion of the moon retracted and the ships moved the ruined Omega and Hyperions into a hanger bay that appeared to be big enough to park Babylon 5 in.

The planes also moved the undamaged Star Furies into the hanger bay. The spying device or satellite was close enough to one of the jets and Clark saw that it had no pilot. The jet another jet had to come behind the satellite or spying device and blow it up.

The monitor turned off and Clark was in utter shock. He had expected some resistance from Mars and from Babylon 5. But Mars resistance he could easy weaken by blowing up a dome or two and he had plans to deal with Babylon 5. But that…that was beyond anything he could imagine. What he felt wasn’t loss or even shame for ordering those that died to their deaths. He felt…desire. He needed to own that base, its weapons and all of its secrets. He was going to make them his and the galaxy would tremble at his might.

Clark then smiled. It was a dark smile of a predator that had found its prey. He might not be able to beat the aliens that clearly ran the base, but he could spindoctor the whole incident to his favor. Look at those aliens…they have a base right on the moon and slaughtered an Earth Force Fleet (of course leaving out why they were there in the first place). It was perfect.

“I assume you know what you have to do Mr. President” Owen Shaw said.

“Indeed I do” Clark said. He would wait until Babylon 5 was crushed to release the news on the alien attack that killed so many human lives. Lives that would demand blood and need to be avenged.

With that Owen Shaw walked out. “I bet you know what to do fleshie” the Decepticon Oil Slick thought. He was going to use that human towards his goals. The self destructive idiot seemed to attract those that would use him as a pawn. Oil Slick wondered who would die if a meeting between Bester, Mr. Morden and himself happened. Everyone but him of course.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
As the Vorlons would say, the circle had changed. Actually they’d also throw in several Vorlon profanities along with that now. They knew of what happened on Earth’s moon. They had never encountered such a race…at least they thought so. They didn’t have a clue what race could do what happened. Not even among races that had died out.

Kosh on Babylon 5 definitely was one throwing around a ton of profanity about the changing the circle. Though no one on the station was aware of it and Kosh kept wondering if he would live or die.

The events unfolding outside of Babylon 5 gave the impression the circle was unbroken. Earth Force had come to battle Babylon 5, the Alexander and the Churchill. The White Star and the rest of the Minbari would be what saved Babylon 5 and the circle would go on.

Then Kosh felt something. He didn’t know what it was he was feeling but he knew what it was. It was trouble. The circle was about to take one in the butt. It was almost enough to make a Vorlon cry. If they still were able to cry. Kosh’s ship recorded all it could on what was happening. With the circle shattering, the Vorlons needed all the information they could get on what was coming and their FTL travel methods.

Up in CnC they noticed some kind of rupture in space. It wasn’t a jumpgate that was for sure. Then came out two rocket ships and five….20th century aircraft? It was almost laughable if not for the strange transport method and that the F-15 Eagle surged ahead and opened fire on the Roanoke with some kind of energy beams and damaged it with a single strafe run.

Then a message was broad cast. “Babylon 5 is under my protection. Leave or forced out” a heavy synthesized voice that sounded like gravel scraping together ordered.

Then one of the rockets sped towards the Earthforce ships and…changed. Where once there was a rocket there was now a massive robot that was quarter of a mile high at the very least. He smashed the Roanoke’s front with a chop from a massive clawed hand. He then used his massive gun arm to blast the Agippa and blew a hole through it with a massive energy blast.

Then the five jets changed into smaller, yet no less impressive robots and then merged into a robot the same size as the other one. They blasted the EAS Centaur and it stopped dead.

Everyone was silent and no body made a move after that other than the EAS Starfuries. They were running for the gate to get away from the situation as fast as they could go.

The second rocket called Babylon 5.

“This is Countdown…and I’m sure we have much to discuss”

Suddenly the Minbari fleet jumped into normal space and they were completely floored. The EAS forces had been taken down by unknown forces. Omega Supreme gave the White Star a menacing glare. Superion aimed his gun at one of the Minbari ships.

Before a firefight could have broken out, Sheridan broke the ice.

“Welcome back Delenn and I hope we can discuss things in a rational manner Countdown” Sheridan said.

“As do I Sheridan” Countdown said.

On CnC John Sheridan let out a breath he didn’t know he was holding in. He hoped that this would end well. Though even recent events he wasn’t so sure if he should set his hopes that high.

Babylon Five was meant to be a source of peace. It was to be a place where humans and various aliens could work out their differences diplomatically. It has utterly failed at that. The Centauri where waging wars with nearly everyone, Earthgov was headed by a dictator and the Shadows had returned.

Orbiting Babylon Five are the White Star, the Minbari vessels, the Churchill, the Aerialbots, Countdown’s shuttle, the Alexander and Omega Supreme. If it can not be a source of peace, it may be a base for which victory can be gained.

Though the Minbari and Earthforce ships kept their distance from Omega Supreme as they attended to the injured on the trashed ships sent to take back Babylon Five. Many of the injured were sent to holding cells on Countdown’s ship, the Guardian of Freedom.

On Babylon Five, Deleen saw what had happened before the Minbari force had come. To say she was shocked would be an understatement. The EAS ships sent to take Babylon Five had been destroyed by an unknown source. Even worse was that those unknown forces it with ease and their weapons went through the ships like the armor wasn’t even there.

She also had no idea what to make of the theories flying as to what they were. The most popular were that they were manned giant robots by some race. She had to be amused at some of the various human cartoons on that. It was something no other races even thought about doing, even for stories.

Deleen saw Sheridan, Garibaldi and Franklin waiting at the dock set up for Countdown’s shuttle. John smiled when he saw Delenn. She was certainly a sight for sore eyes.

“Do you know anything about…them?” John asked.

“The Minbari know nothing of this race” Delenn said “It is as if they appeared out of nowhere.”

“Yeah out of nowhere and kicked butt” Garibaldi muttered.

What both left unsaid is if they had stepped out of the frying pan and into the fire with these newcomers. No one was what they seemed on Babylon 5 and they hoped their saviors didn’t turn out to be worse than Earthforce would be. Or be servants of the Shadows.

Then Countdown left the shuttle. With him was a larger and blue transformer who appeared to change into look like the top of car on their chest, and another was green and looked like he had car top on his chest like the other one. Countdown himself was grey and red. They were shocked to what they thought to be Transformers encounter suits. It was definitely made of metal. The face of Countdown’s was a lot more animate than the one on a Vorlon’s encounter suit was. He appeared to be smiling and happy to meet them. The one in blue also seemed pleased to meet them. The one in green seemed to carefully watching everything. They also noticed the built in gun on Countdown’s forearm. The other two didn’t appear to be armed.

“Welcome to Babylon Five” Sheridan said in his most diplomatic tone.

“It’s great to be here” Countdown said pleasantly. Unlike the voice Sheridan had heard earlier, Countdown’s voice didn’t sound synthesized and certainly sounded a lot more friendly as well.

“This is Delenn the Minbari delegate” Sheridan said.

Countdown looked at her for a moment and both were afraid he was going to do something violent. He seemed to be studying her and slightly angry.

“Huh you have hair” he said before shrugging.

John and Delenn were surprised at that reaction. He clearly knew what a Minbari normally looked like, but how would he gain knowledge on that and the Minbari not know about him? Already he was more than he appeared and they didn’t know the half of it.

Countdown then saw Garibaldi. He looked like he went a few rounds with a Dinobot and lost. As much as he’d like to be able to help the man, the Autobot ship’s doctor, Fixit, didn’t really have any sort of supplies and equipment with him for fixing up organic beings.

“This is Michael Garibaldi head of security” Sheridan said.

Countdown greeted Garibaldi.

“And last but not least is Dr. Franklin” Sheridan said.

“Yeah but I doubt we’ll have any need of his services” the green aide said. Countdown and the blue one shot him a dirty look.

“What?” the green one said.

“I can have quarters set up for any special needs that you have” Sheridan said to Countdown.

“Special…oh you must think I’m wearing an encounter suit” Countdown said.

“You’re not wearing an encounter suit?” Franklin asked. He wondered if that meant they were what he thought they were.

“Nope” Countdown replied.

“Then what are you?” Sheridan asked.

“I’m a Transformer…my race comes from the planet Cybertron” Countdown explained.

“A Transformer?” Sheridan asked. He assumed the name had something to do with the part of a generator, something a metallic race might name themselves after. He didn’t think it had something to do with transformation.

“Stand back” Countdown said and suddenly he changed. He changed from an upright humanoid form to what appeared to be something that looked like an old lunar rover. He then changed from vehicular mode back to his humanoid mode.

John, Franklin ,Delenn and Garibaldi were shocked. They had never heard of anything like that at all. People on Babylon Five might never be what they appear, but none of them could literally change into something else like that.

“And before you ask, yes every member of my race can transform like that” Countdown said.

“Who created you” Sheridan asked.

“Primus” Countdown said “Lord of the Light Gods, and the god that created us in his image.”

John Sheridan was shocked again. “I need to sit down or I’ll probably fall over after a few more of the surprises like these” Sheridan thought.

Delenn was not much better than John at this point. What she was hearing from Countdown in casual conversation was enough to shock even the most jaded Minbari. Transformable robots with religion? Would the wonders of the universe ever end?

Franklin was intrigued by the Transformers. It was unlike anything he had seen or studied on his travels or at Babylon Five. He had a feeling the Transformers were going to be very interesting.

Garibaldi he wondered what was going to go wrong. Something about these guys wasn’t entirely right. It wasn’t their ability to transform or their god, but they had to have something they weren’t telling them about that’ll come and bite Babylon Five in the butt. Of course given how weird the things were with them already, he couldn’t guess as to what that would be.

“With me is Glyph” Countdown said looking at the blue transformer.

“It is a pleasure to be here” she said.

That was yet another thing that threw everyone for a loop. Not only did they have religion, and could transform…but they also had gender as well? They hadn’t even gotten to the conference room and the Transformers were already dropping bombshells left and right.

“And before you ask, yes she is female and no we do not reproduce like humans…and guess all the other organic species by extension” the green one said.

“And he is Tap-Out” Countdown said.

“Nice to meet you all” Tap-Out said with an amused tone.

“Well then I think we should hold this in a conference room” Sheridan said.

“Yeah you’re going to want to sit down for the bombs we’re going to drop” Tap-Out said.

Countdown and Glyph glared at Tap-Out.

“What? They are” Tap-Out said.

In the conference room, the organic beings sat in the chairs while the Transformers stood. Countdown pointed out he was the only one that might fit in one of the chairs, but his weight would be too much for it.

“Prepare to be shocked and amazed and we don’t even have a bearded lady” Tap-Out said mimicking the tone of a freak show announcer.

Glyph sighed.

Countdown said “We can’t take you anywhere.”

“Yep” Tap-Out said. If Tap-Out had a mouth he’d be smiling.

“This involves the history of our race…and with humanity and trust me it’s an association longer than you think” Countdown said. Countdown ignored the confused looks and continued.

“It started in 1984 when the volcano erupted in the Pacific Rim area of the United States…in it was the Ark” Countdown said “The Ark contained the greatest of the Autobots and a Decepticon raiding party that attacked them.”

“Yes and everyone on the Ark woke up and starting fighting our war on Earth” Glyph said.

“Which is why Glyph and I transform into 20th century cars” Tap-Out said.

This bomb shocked everyone. It was fact that the Vree preformed some experiments in the 20th century and were the source of the flying saucers. But for a race to fight a hidden war starting in the 1980s was incredible. Though anyone that knew of the leaders of the US and USSR of that era talking about aliens and how it would unite humanity would believe they knew about the Transformers.

“Of course there is also the fact we have a base on Earth’s Moon” Countdown said.

“Yeah and it ripped up the EAS ships sent to pacify the moon” Tap-Out said.

Countdown then brought up the battle for Earth’s moon. The view of it was from the lunar base itself. Everyone but the Autobots was as shocked as Clark was when he saw it.

“The fun never stops does it” Michael Garibaldi said sarcastically.

“That is nothing since we move into the make you pee your pants portion of the show” Tap-Out said.

Countdown sighed.

“As vulgar as he put it he is correct in a sense.” Countdown said “That Autobot base was made fully operation in the year 2000.”

“You mean that you have had that…for over hundred years?!” Garibaldi said.

“And before you ask about why we didn’t help in the Minbari War” Countdown said “We had a flare up of our war with the Decepticons across the galaxy and were spread to thin to send any help.”

“That’s the second time you’ve mentioned the Decepticons and you haven’t explained who they are” Sheridan said.

“As you can guess we are the Autobots” Countdown said “We like nothing more than peaceful coexistence with our own race and various races of the galaxy.”

“The Decepticons are the part of our race that wants to take all that they can and conqueror everything under their heel” Glyph said.

“Yeah they’re basically like all the other races around here in that regard” Tap-Out said.

“Tap-Out” Countdown said in a tired tone.

“Well it’s true, I mean the universe sure isn’t anything like Star Trek around here, and no place but here is even trying to attempt to do things diplomatically” Tap-Out said.

“And even I have to admit the diplomacy around here has been hampered by the fact people want to blow this place up more than discuss things” Countdown said.

“We would like to have an alliance with Babylon Five, and would like to aid you in removing Clark from power” Glyph said.

“I sense there is a but in this” Sheridan said.

“The but being that people are going to freak out when we use our ace in the hole” Tap-Out said.

“I don’t doubt that” Garibaldi said.

John Sheridan thought about the deal. In all honesty the Transformers seemed to be more full of surprises than any race that had visited Babylon Five…and that was saying a lot. They were utterly alien in so many ways as well. Yet they weren’t cold and robotic like the Vorlons. They seemed to have genuine personalities or they were the best fakes he’d ever seen. He also needed allies and he doubted he’d find many allies that could trash an Omega class ship like it was made out of cardboard.

“I accept the alliance between Babylon Five and the Autobots” Sheridan said.

“Good” Countdown said sounding pleased “I will be the Autobot ambassador to Babylon 5 with Glyph and Tap-Out as my aides.”

“You won’t regret this Captain Sheridan” Glyph said.

“I hope I don’t because I doubt I’d still be alive long afterwards” Sheridan said.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

They were called the Hand. They were felt they were greater than the Shadows or the Vorlons. They were going to rule the galaxy and crush those that weren’t loyal to them under their boots and as dinner.

They never heard of the Transformers. They never heard of the Autobots or Decepticons or Destrongers. They never heard of the Cybertronian Empire. Of course the Cybertronain Empire had never heard of them but didn’t care. They were of no consequence and therefore not intelligent and needed to be removed from the universe to make room for them.

The Cybertronian Empire came, they saw and they destroyed all that was in their way. They were coming up on the edge of Vorlon space. The Vorlons had claimed godhood and genetically altered races so they appeared to be divine beings. The Cybertronian Empire felt they had evolved beyond any gods but their founder Liege Maximo. They were going to be crushed and as the insignificant scraplets they were. The same with the Shadows and any of these supposed First Ones and the younger races.

Nothing was going to stand in their way!

Hhhmm, was that Autobot lunar base hidden under the surface? Cause it would seem odd that EA could colonize the moon, without running into them.

Hmm

Maybe the EA did not colonize it extensively... (after all it's not Mars)... Maybe a few mines for materials or a small low grav manufacturign plant at best I would guess.

Mars however can someday be terraformed, plus it;s bigger has relative gravity and is a major Domed colony. I'm sure Mars is more charted than the moon (underground)...

Besdies we all know the EA (of Clark's time and before) couldn't find their collective a$$es never mind a TF base...

Well the Transformers are masters of disguise and blending in. Plus their computers are far, far more advanced and powerful than the EAs. That makes it much easier for the equipment they use to see something other than what is there.

And there is of course the Autobots wearing Pretender shells and among humanity. They're all over the place. Including a few on B5.

It's aces in the hole really. And as for what they are...well that'd spoil the surprise.

will the technomages show up...are they going to have techno-telepathy(like Forge in the X-Men titles can subconsciously learn how a tech work)..the vorlons are going to be pissed that it can mentally scan circuits&what would happen if it tries to fool around with a transformers' spark...it'd be what they're looking for..a PRIMAL force nature that comes from the universe's life force...

well it would be interesting to see the shadows&vorlons&even thirdspace aliens try to attack the Cybertronian Empire(Transformers G2)...those evolved decepticons can MECHAFORM a planet to become mobile planets that might be similar to Unicron...

hey what about a religious arguement between the minbari religious caste&vorlons against the transformers's ideology of Primus on who's the Light of the universe...

The circle kept changing. The Transformers had sent shockwaves through their actions that the Vorlons couldn’t predict. The ridged race couldn’t take having someone new show up and mess up their places. Especially a race they considered a younger race. An assumption that they would find to be totally wrong. However the Vorlons didn’t know about the Transformers and were used to knowing everything in this time frame. It didn’t help when they didn’t know how far spread the Transformers were and that they were places the Vorlons didn’t think they’d be.

Elsewhere there were people that admitted they didn’t know about the Transformers and badly wanted to know. They wanted to know what made them tick and to use that technology to their advantage.

One such group was Interplanetary Expeditions. The group searched the universe for technology to patent and make themselves extremely wealthy.

In New York City, Earth, Interplanetary Expeditions member Dr. Elisabeth Trent is almost salivating at the sights of the Transformers and their technology on the Moon and around Babylon Five. Since Clark had taken over ISN, IPX had to resort to their other means of information to their hands on vids of the battles.

The vids excited them as much as it filled them fear.

“A completely unknown race…and they were in our own backyard the whole time” Dr. Trent thought. The possibilities seemed endless. Especially the giant shape changing robots that some closet fans of mecha would pay an arm and a leg for. Of course one such closet fan was the head of a multiplanet corporation and would pay…well it certainly would be enough to pay a ransom for any monarch.

While normally IPX would go to Babylon Five regardless of Clark’s blockade and banning of travel there, they couldn’t. Guarding the jump gates to it were several vessels. The vessels were bigger than Babylon Five itself and with guns that you might be able to park a Hyperion inside of it. The reserve ships that were to attack Babylon Five were destroyed by one of those ships in one salvo. Clark demanded that IPX get him this technology.

IPX wasn’t going to risk their lives fighting off a city sized fortress of a ship and that other machine that smashed the front end of an Omega like it was made out of chewing gum.

So IPX made a devil’s pact with the Nightwatch to get their hands on a Transformer. It was not something everyone liked but they had to admit they were the only Earthforce personal that would have any chance of handing over a Transformer or the desire to do so.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Around Babylon Five the damaged vessels formerly of Clark’s forces were being fixed up. The crews of said ships were either dead or been dumped off of Countdown’s ship to the planet Nebulos with the foodstuffs and supplies that had survived the fight.

No one but the Transformers understood how their warp gates and space bridges worked. They also weren’t exactly offering how it worked to anyone either.

William Keffer was amazed at the sight of robots working on the ships. Of course everything about the Transformers was amazing. Even someone jaded to space travel and alien races would be in awe of them.

Keffer passed by Silverbolt. The Concorde was even more graceful than a Starfury in flight. It was also more powerful.

“Just another day isn’t it?” Silverbolt said to Keffer.

“You consider this an ordinary day?” Keffer asked.

“When a giant robot the size of Earth’s moon shows up and bitch slaps a planet that’s when it gets weird’ Silverbolt said.

“You’re joking right?” Keffer asked.

“Nope that actually did happen” Silverbolt said.

“You telling them about Unicron?” Slingshot said.

“Yeah he is…and I doubt anyone would take any bets of you doing a better job fighting as the chosen one or claiming to be instrumental to defeating him” Air Raid said.

“Hey quit raining on my accomplishments” Slingshot said in mock anger.

That was another thing Keffer found strange. He figured a robotic race would have cold and logic based personalities. The Transformers were anything but. They had personalities and expressed emotions. Sometimes he almost forgot they were robots when he talked to them.

And now he had the Unicron thing to add to list of weird things about them. And Keffer had a feeling they weren’t kidding about that with him.

In the CnC Susan Ivnova was having similar thoughts as Keffer.

“Its weird seeing a 20th century jet liner in space” Ivanova thought. Yet said jet liner was actually a nice guy to talk to. Ivnova thought about the irony of robots being far more personable than some people she’s met. Especially slime like Bester.

Susan had to smile at the thought of Bester trying to read and the Transformers and it’d sound like the noises people heard getting a fax over their phone. After all no telepath could read a computer AI.

“Commander there is another portal that the Transformers use opening” Corwin said.

Ivnova wasn’t there for the first meeting with the Transformers, but had been told of all that happened in it. She really was surprised, shocked and hoped they could handle the Decepticons. Though she really doubted anything short of the Great Machine could do that.

“Looks like we have more company” Garibaldi said. Ivnova was so caught up looking at the transwarp opening that he startled her.

Biting back a response for him not to sneak up on her, Ivnova said “Lets hope they're friendly.”

Out of the gate came a massive starship. It was bigger than Babylon Five was. The massive orange ship had visible heavy weapons. It also looked vaguely like a Minbari ship. That is if a Minbari ship was made out of chocolate and warped on a hot summer day.

“Commander we’re getting a call from the vessel” Corwin said.

“This is the Autobot ship the Guardian” a Transformer that was clearly the captain of the ship said.

“Welcome to Babylon Five Guardian” Ivnova said.

“Well as much as I’d like to visit the place, I think the inside is too small to get around” the captain said with a small smile.

“I’m sorry but giant robots weren’t planned for when they built the place” Ivnova said.

“No problem, but we’re going to build our own space station” the captain said. From his tone the base was nonnegotiable and nothing was going to top them from putting it up. Not that anyone short of the Shadows or Vorlons would be able to send anything with the firepower to change their minds.

The Guardian moved and out of the transwarp opening came several more ships and massive parts for their space station. The Alexander moved out of the way the massive ships and their massive modular starship parts.

Susan Ivnova didn’t know what she’d want more right now. A few bottles of vodka or some really drugs to knock herself out. Or a firearm to blow her head off with than deal with every race being up in arms at massive and heavily armed fortress that might have five mile long guns being built.

Though she wondered if she’d have to share that gun with Sheridan or not.

“Well Harvey that story of the lifetime is looking more and more insane by the minute” Harvey Melfton, a minor ISN report thought as he trudged along the moon in a space suit.

He was sent to the Moon to cover what was basically a fluff story for a slow news day. That was before Clark decided to become a dictator and turn ISN into his personal mouth piece.

“Should have renamed it CPN…the Clark Propaganda Network” Harvey thought bitterly.

Harvey expected for the moon to be taken over easily and he’d either be in a jail cell or kissing Clark’s ass on the air. Then a miracle happened and EF got their butts handed to them.

People on the Moon were panicking. Some felt that Clark was right and that aliens were going to kick the crap out of everyone. Harvey and thankfully many others noticed it wasn’t until Clark sent in several ships to pacify the moon that whoever ran the base showed they were there and opened fire.

Of course there were those that panicked on that there was an alien base on someone humans had mapped out. How could anything that big be hidden in almost plain sight? It worried people that even worse things were hiding and waiting to be found.

So he got a space suit and figured he could find their base and get an interview out of them. The problem being that after the attack their weapons retracted back into their hiding places on the moon. Since no one had even the slightest idea of their being alien neighbors on the moon for the 240 years there had been a lunar settlement and that included scans of the lunar surface.

Harvey was beginning to feel he’d have better luck finding a Vorlon here and get offered a gin and tonic by said Vorlon.

Harvey sat down at the edge of a crater and sighed. He felt so useless right now. A story that needed to be told and he could even find anyone to interview. Clark wanting to king of the universe and everything going to hell. The Centuri being ruled by man rumored to think he was a god and definitely a nutcase. Some race blowing up League of Nonallied Worlds ships.

“And I can’t find anyone to interview on what the hell is going on” Harvey broadcasted over his suits radio. He wanted everyone to hear his displeasure and aggravation at the moment.

Then the ground started to quake. Out of nowhere came a massive entrance came up. The door opened and massive blue robot was there. Harvey noted that the robot had…tires and a ladder on his back?

“We’re sorry for not to leaving a way for the press to meet with us” the giant robot said.

Harvey tried to say something but he felt like his mouth was full of peanut butter.

The robot chuckled and said “Oh where are my manners? I’m Hotspot and I’m the commander of this base.”

Harvey was surprised. The head of this base came to greet him? It didn’t seem too good to be true, but very weird.

Then Hot Spot transformed into a blue fire engine. Harvey was surprised. The wheels and ladder made sense now.

“Transforming robots? I’ve either hit the mother load or I’ve gone crazy” Harvey thought.

“Hop in” Hotspot said.

Harvey got into Hotspot and took was driven deeper into the base. The place was massive and mostly white with some orange. It wasn’t what Harvey expected. Of course he had no idea what to expect at this point.

“Where are you taking me?” Harvey asked.

“Well you’re going to meet with commander of the whole Autobot army, Optimus Prime” Hotspot said.

Harvey was in shock. He was a low man on the totem pole report at ISN and now he was meeting the leader of a whole army? And of a race that was totally different from any other?

Harvey knew this would make or break his career. He was excited and scared at the same time. He just wondered what their leader looked like. He was sure anything was possible.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

On Babylon Five things were even more tense than before. Everyone was up in arms over the Autobots building a space station in the area. Even Kosh was up in arms.

Of course it really worried everyone when Kosh’s response wasn’t mysterious or cryptic.

It was “Get them to remove that fucking space station now!”

No one had ever heard a Vorlon swear before. Or seen one clearly stressed out even wearing a bulky encounter suit.

It also didn’t help Tap-Out’s response to them was to get bent. This was clearly why Tap-Out would never be more than aide to Countdown. There were even rumors of a fist fight between Kosh and Tap-Out.

When asked Tap-Out would be smiling if he had a mouth. Kosh would say something cryptic if anyone had the guts to even ask him about that.

Delenn had heard of Tap-Out’s response from others and decided to “unexpectedly” run into Countdown when she gave Lenann a tour of the station.

“Countdown truly does understand diplomacy” Delenn thought. When your government did things that scared people and their ambassadors demanded answers and were going to be an annoyance you made yourself scarce. And had an aide that was willing to give out crass answers to be the only one available.

Delenn wished she could have been able to do that at times. But Lennier was never one to tell off ambassadors nor Delenn one to run from trouble. But to have both would be a nice way to avoid having to deal with people like Londo once awhile.

Delenn and Lenann found Countdown in a small shop off the beaten path. Only the shop owner, Countdown, and a man clearly enjoying a sandwich were in the shop. Countdown left the store and saw Delenn.

“Hello Delenn” Countdown said.

“Greetings Countdown” Delenn said.

Lenann seemed to just be staring at Countdown. He had never seen anything like the Transformers. He was also very afraid of the massive one that smashed up an EF ship like it did. Even a Minbari vessel couldn’t do that much damage that fast.

“Look let’s cut the pleasantries” Countdown said “The Minbari don’t like that the Autobots are putting up their own space station.”

“You have to understand how afraid everyone is after that one of your kind demolished an EF Omega” Delenn said.

“That one is named Omega Supreme” Countdown commented.

“An apt name for such a warrior” Lenann commented.

“Trust me if the Decepticons and Destrongers weren’t being a pain in the muffler during the Earth-Minbari War then you’d end up facing Omega Supreme in combat and I’m sure he’d end up with a name like Fleet Destroyer or Ship Crusher” Countdown said.

That shocked the Minbari. That any race would have helped humanity out during that war. Only the Narns helped Earth in any way during that war. Lenann wondered how different it would have been if the Transformers had helped humanity. It’d have been a war that the Warrior Caste would end up regretting fighting that’s for sure.

Then suddenly humans attacked and gassed the Minbari. It was clearly a preplanned attack when the two were away from any security forces or other Minbari.

“You will come with us or they will die” the leader of the group said to Countdown.

“I figured it be that way” Countdown said. Countdown had a strip of cloth wrapped over his eyes. He wondered if they were just stupid or ignorant to think Countdown only could see in the visual spectrum light. Or that he didn’t have a built in communication device he could raise other members of his group with.

Elsewhere in Babylon Five, Sheridan had just finished dealing with the horde of ambassadors that were up in arms about what the Autobots were doing. His head felt like someone hit it with a shovel. Even Kosh showed up and seemed hysterical for Vorlon.

He wanted nothing more than to go to bed and be left alone until next week. However doubted he’d get even 12 hours before something came up. He was right when got a message.

What John saw he didn’t like. He didn’t like it at all. It frankly disgusted him.

Several security officers, now showing their Nightwatch symbols clearly had Delenn, Leaonon and Countdown. They had Delenn and Leanon tied to chairs and Countdown was tied standing up. Sheridan doubted what they used on Countdown could hold him at all. They had to be threatening to kill Delenn and Lenann to keep him from taking them down.

“It doesn’t make it any easier to stomach seeming Delenn in the hands of those bastards” Sheridan thought. Over time he was coming to care for the Minbari ambassador. Though he wasn’t quite sure on if he loved her. He had pretty lousy luck on love. His first wife and he ended up fighting World War IV and Anne ended up lost on an exploration mission.

Was love three strikes and you were out? John Sheridan didn’t want to find out. Yet could he risk never telling Delenn what he felt about her?

Then the leader of the group spoke.

“I want transportation off Babylon Five and you get this sickening creature and the Minbari as well” the leader said.

“And what of Countdown?” Sheridan asked.

“He comes with us to Earth and is our insurance that massive robot won’t rip us to pieces” the leader said.

It was then that Countdown smiled.

“You do realize to a Transformer your encryption programs are like using a 300 watt bulb in a dark room right?” Countdown said.

The eyes of all the humans in the room got wide and suddenly a car could be heard revving up before the vid closed.

Tap-Out went through the wall and into the safehouse of Nightwatch. He quickly transformed and gently knocked the PPGs from the hands of the Nightwatch members, and sent a few flying across the room. Though the Nightwatch members wouldn’t understand that Tap-Out was doing this gently. At full force he would rip their bodies to pieces with his attacks.

With the Nightwatch paying attention to Tap-Out, Countdown ripped off his bindings and mask and starting knocking people around. The chaos was too much for the Nightwatch. They might have felt able to defeat two Minbari in combat, but not two Autobots. They were easily defeated by Countdown and Tap-Out.

The leader of the group stayed out of the fight and pointed a gun at Delenn’s head. He was about to shout at the Autobots to stop or she’d die but was hit in the back of the head before he could do so. If Delenn or Lenann could turn their heads they would notice this was the same person in the shop with Countdown.

Tap-Out looked at the man and said “Well it too you long enough to do something.”

“I couldn’t break cover” the person said.

“Well what are we going to do now?” Countdown said.

“Don’t worry I got a cover story that’ll work” the person said with an easy smile.

“Will someone please explain what is going on?” Delenn asked.

“We’ll explain it later when Sheridan is present since he’ll want to know as well” Countdown said.

“And he’s going to freak out” Tap-Out said.

The remaining Nightwatch member then put his hands in the air. Delenn and Leaonon were curious as to why he did that. Then security forces came into the room armed and ready for a fight.

“Don’t shoot him” Countdown said

Garibaldi came into the room and looked at the new door way.

“You drive into here?” Garibaldi asked Tap-Out.

“Yep” Tap-Out said.

“You’re a real smartass you know that?” Garibaldi said.

“That’s what everyone tells me” Tap-Out said with an amused tone.

Later in Sheridan’s office Countdown was ready to explain things. Sheridan sat behind his desk and looked at Countdown. Garibaldi was standing and glaring at Countdown. He had a feeling he wasn’t going to like what Countdown was going to tell him.

“We didn’t want to have to explain this so soon but I guess we have to” Countdown said.

“Explain what?” Sheridan said.

The former Nightwatch member then entered the room. Everyone went for their weapons when Countdown told them to stand down.

“What we’d have to explain is the Pretender shell technology” Countdown said.

“Why do I get the feeling I’m not going to like this?” Garibaldi said.

“Because the Pretender shell is how Transformers can appear to be an organic being” Countdown said.

“You mean that you can be anyone with those Pretender shells?” Sheridan asked.

“The shells allow us to live off organic foods, even have a sense of taste as well as disguise” Countdown said.

“Though spoo tastes like cardboard to me” the Pretender shell wearing Autobot said.

“And your name is?” Sheridan asked.

“Well its Edward Peters in the shell but really my name is Vroom” Vroom said.

“My god what else are you hiding?” Sheridan asked. He could almost believe Clark had a point on alien influences being everywhere. If that alien influence was the Autobots. Of course Clark’s alliances with the Shadows would make it being the pot calling the kettle black. Also despite being heavy handed in creating a space station their size, they hadn’t done anything to harm them. And with a bruiser like Omega Supreme they wouldn’t need to be subtle to deal with anyone.

“Well we have some Autobots hiding undercover as regular vehicles” Vroom said.

“Do the Decepticons also have this technology as well?” Sheridan asked.

“Yes they do, however they refer to be giant monsters than pretend to be people” Countdown said.

“If the Decepticons exist” Garibaldi said.

“Oh they exist alright and you don’t want to meet them” Vroom said.

“I think by the time this is over I’m going to be wishing for the old days were I just had to deal with political intrigues and running an Earthgov space station” Sheridan said.

“Well I tell you how old I am and what the oldest member of my race is but I think you want to save that shocker for another day” Vroom said.

“I think I will” Sheridan said.

“So what exactly is your cover story going to be?” Garibaldi asked.

“Oh that’s simple” Vroom said “I’ll have gotten into Nightwatch in the first place for money, and betrayed them since with all the giant robots and their space station being built I felt it’d be better to defect than end up dieing for a cause I didn’t believe in.”

“And you expect to be trusted?” Garibaldi said.

“Not at all” Vroom said “I expect to see few guards watching my every move doing the day.”

“You better believe you’re going to get that” Garibaldi said.

“Good” Vroom replied.

“Before I feel like I go completely nuts I want everyone out of here” Sheridan said.

Everyone was leaving the room but Sheridan then said “Well other than Delenn since we have matters of great importance to discuss.”

Garibaldi assumed it involved the Transformers and how the Minbari were going to take that. But Vroom and Countdown gave him a knowing look before they left. Sheridan thought that robots would be like the Vorlons. Cold and nonemotional beings that didn’t understand human emotions. He had to find a group of them that were anything but that. Only good thing about the situation was that Tap-Out wasn’t with them. Sheridan knew that Tap-Out would have said something crass and sexual. He wondered how old Tap-Out was. He seemed to act like a teenager.

“Robotic smartass” Sheridan thought.

“What is it you wish to speak of John?” Delenn asked.

“Delenn…when I saw you captured like that I could barely stand to watch” Sheridan said “I know I’ve been really lousy when it came to love…my first wife and I had arguments that made the Centuri and Narn conflicts look like a bar brawl and my second wife well she just vanished on an exploration mission.”

“John” Delenn said softly.

“I love you Delenn and I don’t want to lose you” John said.

Delenn smiled and suddenly Draal appeared in the room.

Sheridan sighed. He doubted he could ever have a romantic moment on Babylon Five without some sort of interruption. It was really getting old and really annoying.

“I bring horrible news Sheridan” Draal said “A threat that makes the Shadows look like children with toy weapons.”

“Why do I get the feeling this involves the Transformers?” Sheridan asked.

“Because it does and the threat is an offshoot of theirs that thinks of organic life as unworthy to exist and incapable of the sort of thought they have” Draal said.

“Where are they?” Sheridan asked.

“They are coming this way through the Vorlon’s territory” Draal said.

“Surely they can’t defeat the Vorlons” Delenn said.

Draal laughed. It was a bitter one that had no humor in it. It was not reassuring.

“The Vorlons are out gunned by this force and will be smashed” Draal said “Nothing will stand in the way of the Cybertronian Empire not even the Army of Light.”

“Then our darkest hour is coming” Delenn said.

Suddenly a voice was heard. The voice was filled with power and wisdom. The voice of a hero. One of the greatest heroes the universe had ever known. John and Delenn turned and saw a robot on the vid screen. His face was blue with a faceplate over his mouth. His torso was red and he had the front of a semi on it.

“My race has had a great deal of experience dealing with darkest hours” the robot said.

“Who are you?” John Sheridan asked.

“I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots and the Autobots stand with you in battle with this Cybertronian Empire” Optimus Prime said.

The words that came from Optimus Prime filled John with something he hadn’t felt in too long. They filled him with hope. He just hoped the Army of Light could withstand the coming Cybertronian Empire and the Shadows. And anything else that wanted a piece of Babylon Five that showed up. Then John noticed that Optimus Prime knew the name of the enemy.

“How do you know the name of the enemy?” Sheridan asked.

“Several Autobot units have encountered them shortly before they attacked the Vorlons” Optimus Prime replied.

“And they survived?” Delenn asked.

“Not without heavy casualties” Optimus Prime said.

Sheridan was worried. If they could rip up EF ships like nothing and even they had trouble fighting the Cybertronian Empire and the Vorlons were being steamrolled over…what hope did anyone have of surviving this?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Major Donald Frank wondered where the hell those things dropped him. It had been several days and he appeared to be the highest ranking officer of the various ships that went to Babylon Five that was still alive.

“But where is here?” Frank wondered.

All he knew was the planet was Earth-like and the plant life didn’t kill them. They hadn’t come across any animal life that was attacking them. Actually the squirrel like creatures tasted pretty good when roasted.

However he still wanted to kick the crap out of the robots for tossing him and the rest of the EF forces aside like a candy wrapper. The EF forces set up a base camp with their various supplies and he tried to maintain order. Everyone was scared and wondering when they would get some answers. They also did their best to help the injuried and the dieing.

What angered Donald Frank the most about the situtation was that some of the dead could have been saved if they had an EF medical facility or even a well stocked planet side MASH unit. More lives wasted for nothing.

It was then several hover vehicles came into base came. Everyone that had the strength to even hold a PPG pointed their guns at the hover vehicles and waited.

Then out of it came one of the scouts sent to figure out who lived on the planet. It was Samantha Gibersa.

“Don’t shoot” she said “They’re human just like us!”

That got everyone’s attention. Then several of the humans got out of the hover vehicles. They appeared to be just like the EF members.

“Corporal who are these people?” Frank asked.

“They’re humans, though they call themselves Nebulans sir” Samantha replied.

Frank didn’t exactly get why humans would call themselves something other than humans but at this point really didn’t care. If these Nebulans were willing to help out their fellow human beings than they could call themselves whatever they damn well pleased.

However if they would help was the big question.

“Will they help us Corporal?” Major Frank asked.

“Yes they will Major and they know all about those aliens that beat us up” Samantha.

“Who are those aliens?” Frank asked.

“They call themselves the Transformers and they are a vile plague that nearly destroyed our world” one of the Nebulans said.

“They make the Minbari look like a bunch of drunken fratboys sir” Samantha said.

“Great…this is just great” Frank said with frustration filling his voice. No matter what some people thought, Earth lost the Minbari war. Now they had a greater enemy fighting them and this one could rip an Omega class ship apart.

From there an alliance was forged between the Nebulans and Earthforce. Their dislike toward the Transformers united them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Vorlons were becoming even more and more afraid of the Transformers. Their technology was utterly alien to anything they had ever encountered. Their experiment was getting altered and they were going to make a stand.

Then they came. Ruthless and striking like lightning at the end of Vorlon space. They were the Cybertronian Empire and they slaughtered any ships or defenses the Vorlons had. Many of their worlds were stripped and turned into copies of Cybertron.

On Babylon Five Kosh worried. Their circle was destroyed. Their race would be destroyed. The galaxy would be destroyed. Even the Outer Rim would be destroyed. It was all going to end. All because some damn race that shouldn’t be around messed everything up.

And he knew they’d eat him alive if he even tried anything with his ship. He was helpless and hopeless. Yet there was one glimmer of hope. He would have to alter the circle with the one that was. Sinclair/Valen would be able to warn everyone about the danger. It was the only thing that could keep Kosh from losing all hope.

Of course he had yet to learn that things were more…much more than meets the eye.

I always found the Nebulans to be dicks, because the Autobots risked their lives hundreds of time to save Nebula, yet still those assholes hate them, ungrateful bastards

great story so far...i can understand the how the nebulans feel since it's interesting that the transformers usually run over the local conflicts and end up trashing the place while they fight...

will the decepticons arrive...they're sort of in neutral terms with the autobots but i'd think they'd like to beat the crap out of the Cybertronian empire since they consider the decepticons obselete&is marked for death...even Starscream&Megatron couldn't get an alliance with them...also aren't the nebulans a little more orange or pale in their appearance...

the decepticons can take care of the cybertronian empire while the autobots take care of the Hand, Shadows&Vorlons , Clarke&Centauri...the only problem that i can think of is that the decepticons might not want to remove themselves from the mechaformed planets that they liberated from the cybertronian empire...well cybertron is at least about a dozen billion years old since it was mechaformed by Primus himself&that the Quintessons took over cybertron some billion years later...

i wonder what would happen if the decepticons stick unicron's head on a mechaformed planet...will that become unicron's new body?...i think Starscream is the only one stupid enough to do it&even the cybertronian empire would be against unicron since he'll consider those mechaformed planets and any transformer as his meal...

“The situation for Earth Alliance was getting more and more grim every day. Aliens are everywhere. They have a base on the Moon, and are either aiding Babylon Five or altered them somehow to bend to their will” President Clark said for his office in Geneva.

The Nightwatch attack when horribly and he learned from sources that the aliens that were popping up everywhere were stronger than a normal human or even a horde of them. That was the last straw. If he could get them quietly, then he was going use every weapon at his disposal to do so. He needed to get his hands on that alien tech. However the alien strongholds and ships were too much for EF to fight.

“I had proof that Marsdome was working with these invaders of our space and had to stopped. It is regrettable that innocent lives were lost in the attack but they had to be stopped before they spread to Earth and bend us all to their will” Clark said.

ISN and other news networks were covering the story and no real editing was needed to make Clark look good. Clark just needed to tell a few lies that made him look good. He had no proof that Mars had anything to do with those aliens, but he had a feeling they were there. They seemed to be popping up everywhere.

He had to admit the aliens made for a great cover for him to pacify the rebelling colonies and Babylon Five. Though he hated that over his head was one of their bases and that they could kill him. Probably not before he used the G.O.D. system on them or on himself as a way to flip them the bird. No one would decide when Morgan Clark died but Morgan Clark.

“This hostile threat will be taken care of and that is my promise to all of you” Clark said to conclude his speech.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tap-Out turned off his vid and said to it “You suck Clark.”

Glyph sighed. Tap-Out’s behavior always seemed childish outside of combat. She also found it annoying to have to baby sit him.

In the week since the attempt on Countdown things had settled down slightly on Babylon Five. Tap-Out and Glyph were assigned a single quarters as the ambassadorial aides. One would assume they were in love on that. Actually Countdown put them together so Glyph could keep Tap-Out from doing something stupid.

The two had a pair of power rechargers in the room and modified the bathroom into a private place for Glyph. It in were several books and artifacts she had on hand. She also had a few personal effects like photos.

Tap-Out decorated the living room, and added pieces of furniture that could support the weight of a Cybertronian. It also had a few weird knickknacks that he had bought on the station spread around the room.

Glyph looked at the Aquateen Hunger Force poster that was behind the sofa. She really wished that Tap-Out hadn’t gotten that thing. It was frankly ugly and the cartoon it was about was trash.

Though Tap-Out loved the show and was always laughing at the sometimes violent jokes in it. Glyph felt he needed to run an antiviral scan on his humor circuits. The show had no point and was frankly garbage.

Then the two got a call from Countdown.

“Everything is in place for a meeting between the various ambassadors and I “ Countdown said “So I need you to it broadcast across this section of space.”

“I have already discussed this with Twincast and he is ready to go” Glyph said.

“Good and I want you two to be at my side when I talk with everyone” Countdown said.

“We’ll be there” Tap-Out replied.

“I hope you don’t start a fist fight with the Vorlon ambassador again” Glyph said.

“For a race wearing an encounter suit with no jaw, he sure had a glass jaw” Tap-Out retorted.

The two made their way towards the massive room Countdown was in. The various aliens looked at Tap-Out and Glyph with varying degrees of awe, greed and worry. Some ran away from Tap-Out having heard about him beating the Vorlon ambassador in a fist fight.

Tap-Out stopped and waved at a few people on the trip. Glyph really wished Tap-Out would stop being such a ham. For a 6 million year old Autobot he acted like he was only 3 million years old.

Outside the room was Countdown. The trio entered the room (though Tap-Out and Glyph had to duck in order to enter). The Drazi and Vorlon ambassadors openly glared at Tap-Out. That Kosh was openly expressing any emotion was putting everyone on edge. Especially with an expression that if looks could kill would instantly vaporize Tap-Out.

Countdown stepped up to the podium. Glyph sent the message for Twincast to override ISN and to send out a broadcast of this.

“Greetings fellow ambassadors, as you know I am Countdown and I am a Transformer” Countdown said “What you probably don’t know is this isn’t an encounter suit I’m wearing.”

The various ambassadors were shocked and wondered what the meant if he wasn’t wearing an encounter suit.

Countdown then opened up his arm and showed the ambassadors the circuits inside of it.

“I’m a sentient robot from the planet Cybertron” Countdown said “Cybertron is a hollow metal planet the size of Saturn that is wandering the galaxy.”

This surprised all the ambassadors even Kosh. The Vorlons had never even heard of Cybertron. But if he had his way they would know of them, and be able to minimize their effect on the circle.

“And your foes the Shadows are allies with a group of pirates called the Destrongers” Countdown said “They have been annoying but they don’t exactly last long to a salvo from a Sentinel class cruiser.”

Kosh was starting to wonder how a race like these Transformers was able to hide itself from the Vorlons. They seemed to be able to do the impossible. No one but the Vorlons should be able to fight the Shadows on equal ground. The next bombshell would surprise the Vorlons even more.

“And for those who think we are one of the ‘younger races’ well I’m actually 20 million years old and one of the oldest still living members of our race is 200 million years old” Countdown said.

“You have to be lieing” Londo said.

“We don’t need to lie about our age” Tap-Out said.

“Nor do we desire the sort of status the Vorlons have built as being mysterious and appear to be all knowing” Glyph said. She felt the Vorlons were frankly full of themselves and looked down on the so called younger races.

“Arrogant” Kosh said as he rose.

“Look in the mirror you Shockwave wannabe” Tap-Out retorted with no fear.

Kosh’s iris narrowed and everyone could feel the anger rolling of him almost like visible light. Tap-Out adopted a loose stance as to be ready for the Vorlon ambassador’s attack. Tap-Out also seemed eager to fight Kosh again.

Delenn wondered why anyone would try to provoke a Vorlon like that. She didn’t believe the rumors that Tap-Out had defeated Kosh in one on one combat. She had seen him fight off the Nightwatch but for him to beat a Vorlon was unthinkable. It just couldn’t be done. Of course if things kept going she’d see Kosh taken down again.

“Look here you arrogant and all knowing jackass” Glyph said to Kosh with an icy tone “Is this the Vorlon version of diplomacy? You just yell at people for expressing view points other than your own?”

Kosh glared at the female Autobot. This race was an abomination to the universe. Their nature, their mode of FTL travel, their very existence was wrong to him. They didn’t follow the Vorlons or even the Shadows. They could even be classed as First Ones. They upset the circle without even trying.

Yet he couldn’t have a fleet come in and destroy them. Forces had attacked the Vorlon empire and at the worst time. Now with a new threat and the Shadows at their heels they couldn’t take having these Autobots questioning them and building space stations.

“I also have to say I am disappointed with the Vorlon ambassador” Countdown said.

Sheridan had no idea what to do. Kosh was important as a part of the army of light, yet he was being a total ass in front of everyone. And John couldn’t figure out why he couldn’t speak up about it. The whole thing felt unreal.

“You shouldn’t be here” Kosh yelled.

“We’ve been here since a shipload of our race awakened on Earth in 1984” Glyph said.

“You!” The Vree ambassador said.

“Well I guess you got the surprise of a lifetime when you got something unexpected in the 20th century” Tap-Out said.

“How can they have been around that long and not be seen?” Kosh thought. He was beginning to feel this problem had always been there. What was worse was since they were machines; they wouldn’t be subtle influenced by the Vorlons. And there was no way to fight them on the mental level. He shuttered at the power they had on the spiritual level. They had to be the children and connected spiritually to being as powerful as Lorien. It frightened him. It frightened all the Vorlons.

“Before I was so rudely interrupted, the space station is going up because most members of our race are 35 feet tall” Countdown said.

The ambassadors seemed to be in shock. This whole meeting reveled things that they didn’t know and that there was a new player in interstellar politics. Or rather that a member of it had finally shown themselves. And that they like no one else and they couldn’t be intimidated or threatened. Not without them either laughing in your face or simply smashing you and your ships.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Londo Mollari hurried from the meeting. He could never have imagined anything like these Autobots. They had been there when the Centauri meet humanity for the first time, yet were in the background.

“Great Maker…I hope that Lord Refa isn’t stupid enough to bother with the Autobots” Londo thought.

That pompous little rat would probably love to get his hands on a Transformer. However that was a member of their race that smashed an EF Omega like it was nothing. Londo doubted a Centauri ship would fare any better vs. Omega Supreme.

And their age. The members of their race in that room existed before the Centauri did. He had a feeling if their war didn’t kill them, then they would be around long after the Centauri were gone. It was madness to provoke a foe that old and that powerful. Of course the Centauri were lead by a madman that had visions of godhood.

“I’d love to see the look on the face of that ‘god’ if Omega Supreme stopped by the royal palace” Londo thought with amusement.

But he knew that the Centauri had to know what he had learned of these Transformers. Though if they’d take any sort of warnings is another matter. He hoped that the Centauri wouldn’t do anything stupid in an attempt to gain the Autobot’s technology.

He also wondered who these Destrongers and Decepticons were. The Autobots didn’t go into much detail beyond them being factions of their race that they had been fighting several wars with.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Morden found Cartagia to be a dream to work with. He was an utter fool who thought he was a god. Though that did remind his “associates” of the Vorlons and their follies in their attempt for godhood. Nothing like trying to touch the face of god and opening the gates of hell to show how much you can screw up.

The Shadows didn’t mind being worshipped by the younger races as gods, but they never took it to heart like the Vorlons did. Or feel going and demanding to become deities by touching the face of god would work. That would probably piss off any supreme being and definitely not get them what they desired.

Morden took a sip of wine and waited for his shuttle to land on Centauri Prime. He savored the wine and the look Cartagia would have on his face when his new allies appeared.

The Autobots would be a problem, but the Destrongers had grown much stronger under the Shadows. They should be able to handle them now.

Suddenly the shuttle shook and Morden’s glass shattered on the floor. The Centauri shuttle had been altered with Destronger and Shadow technology. It was probably the only reason the pilot, Morden and the 3 Shadows on board weren’t dead.

Primuses and Vorchans were easily destroyed by a massive silver ship. On the massive silver ship’s hull was its name “The Big Grim”.

In the command deck of The Big Grim was Grimlock. He stared out at the carnage around Centauri Prime and felt happy. He knew now was the time to strike and destroy the foothold the Shadows had in this part of the galaxy. And Grimlock knew that they Centauri were in league with the Shadows. On the command deck with Grimlock were his loyal Dinobots.

Swoop was at navigation with Snarl manning the tactical console. Sludge manned a console behind Grimlock and manned the sensor equipment.

Coming onto the bridge was Ricochet. He was built in the same body type as Jazz and was mostly black with a golden face.

“Is this really necessary?” Ricochet asked.

“Yes” was Grimlock’s Kosh-like answer.

“I still think it’s a politically short sighted move, but then again no other major power around here thinks about the long term effects of what they do” Ricochet said.

“I’m a warrior and I don’t care about the tricursed long term political effects of what I do” Grimlock said.

“We can take the heat, and smash any of these losers that want to make something of it” Snarl said as blew up a Vorchan that tried to escape. On board that ship was Lord Refa. The tool of the Shadows didn’t even know what hit him before he died.

“You honestly think this Doolittle raid won’t piss off the Centauri and scare all the other races?” Ricochet asked.

“No one really like the Centauri and I doubt anyone will fight us over this” Grimlock said.

“Boss we have a problem” Sludge said.

“Don’t call me Boss…he’s that suck up to Thunderclash” Grimlock said “And what is the problem?”

“We got a transwarp vessel coming and it isn’t one of ours” Sludge said.

“Destrongers” Grimlock hissed.

“Yeah and we got a bunch of hyperspace ships coming” Sludge said.

“They’re here” Swoop said as the ship rocked under fire. The ships were known to the Transformers. They were Shadow vessels.

“Destroy those Shadow ships and is Rodimus’s fleet getting this?” Grimlock said.

“Oh yes he is and he’s annoyed with your need to go and do things without telling anyone in the command structure” Ricochet said.

“He’d do the same thing” Grimlock replied as computer screen exploded.

“Rodimus also has command of a fleet, and they’re top of the line ships instead of an old Decepticon cruiser you saved from the slag heap” Ricochet said.

“Details, details” Grimlock said.

The ship then rocked even more and the lights started to flicker. Smoke rose from the coolant lines and circuit breakers kicked in for the computers. Then the Destronger ship came out of transwarp and opened fire on The Big Grim.

It was clear that the ship couldn’t handle all the Shadow vessels and the Destronger vessel. So Grimlock decided to find a parking space on Centauri Prime.

“Swoop drive this ship to the ocean in the southern hemisphere of Centauri Prime” Grimlock ordered.

“Do you know what happens when you land a massive starship into an ocean?” Ricochet asked.

“Big splash, wouldn’t want to be on a Centauri beach when we land” Grimlock replied.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

On board the Guardian, Rodimus sighed. Grimlock did it again.

“I can believe he’d do such a headstrong and short sighted act” Rodimus thought. He knew Grimlock well enough for that. He even liked Grimlock most of the time. Other than when he had to make the calls telling people about the things Grimlock wrecked.

It was annoying and getting old fast. He did keep expecting this sort of thing from Grimlock and Shattershot though. Those two never seemed to stay out of trouble for long.

“Twincast call Babylon Five” Rodimus said.

Rodimus considered striking a Gendo Ikari pose, but doubted Sheridan would get the reference. He came down as a hardass to Commander Ivnova earlier. Of course he was putting up a massive space station and freak out everyone. The space station would only have one other space station as competition for largest Transformers base and Deathsaurus’s space station larger than most moons.

“We are connected to CnC of Babylon Five” Twincast said.

Rodimus looked at the small monitor on his desk. He saw that Sandra Hoshi was in on watch.

“I’d love for this to be social call” Rodimus said “But a member of my army did what he always does.”

“What does that mean?” Hoshi asked.

“It means he took a ship and his loyal subordinates and did want he wanted” Rodimus said.

“And no one has ever thrown out of the army or disciplined him?” Hoshi asked.

“He gets results and that he’s one of the more effective commanders gets him a bit of slack” Rodimus said.

Hoshi muttered something under breath. It sounded to Rodimus something like Janewashki.

“I regret to inform you that that commander, named Grimlock, has attacked Centauri Prime and given proof that they are allied with the Shadows” Rodimus said.

The CnC went quiet.

Then Sandra Hoshi forgot about military decorum.

“He did what?!” she yelled.

“He launched an attack on Centauri Prime and has exposed their ties to the Shadows and Destrongers” Rodimus said.

“You’d need a fleet to do that and hard fighting getting from the jump gate to Centauri Prime” one of the lower ranked officers said. Rodimus didn’t know who he was offhand.

“Actually he used an old Decepticon Cruiser he stole from the scrap heap and fixed up using parts he could find, buy or steal.” Rodimus said “And don’t forget we don’t use Jumpgates and Hyperspace.”

“But how is that possible?” Hoshi asked.

“The Autobots have had millions and millions of years of fighting the Decepticons in the current war” Rodimus said.

Sandra wondered if something like that would be the fate of Earth and the colonies. A war spanning so long that they’d never remember anything else. The Transformers were very human and very alien to her at the same time.

Rodimus sighed. He hoped that Sheridan would take the news better than the CnC crew had. Though frankly he doubted he would.

“I need to speak with Commander Sheridan about Grimlock and few other things” Rodimus said.

Sandra Hoshi hoped that those other things weren’t going to be as insane as the news about Grimlock. The more she heard about the Transformers, the more she wondered if the galaxy was going to be in one piece by the time they were done.

Rodimus saw the screen change from the CnC of Babylon Five to Sheridan’s office.

“Why is it every time something odd happens that you guys are in the middle of it?” Sheridan asked.

“Grimlock is always like that” Rodimus said.

“An insubordinate ass that does what he wants and drags everyone else with him?” Sheridan asked.

“Yep that’s him alright” Rodimus said with a smile.

“How can you be so calm about this? Londo is going be breathing down my neck and everyone is going to be in arms….again!” Sheridan yelled.

“You seriously need a girlfriend….might help you relax” Rodimus said.

Sheridan glared at Rodimus. He then shook his head and sighed. John felt like his world was coming apart with the coming out of the Transformers. Hidden bases, Pretender shells, Grimlock, and more had been eating at him and he wondered when this would all end. How many more secrets did the Transformers have?

He’d have screamed if he knew it was a lot more.

Then the CnC called Sheridan.

“Commander there is an Alfred Bester aboard a civilian freighter that wants to speak with you” Corwin said.

In spite of all the problems with the Transformers Sheridan had to smile. Bester was about to get to deal with Tap-Out. That’d be something worth selling on pay per view.

“Understood and I’ll need the Autobot ambassador aide Tap-Out with me to meet Bester” Sheridan said.

“Wow you must really not like him at all” Rodimus said before he cut the link.

Joy, Joy.

Bester might start hearing the song "Dare to be Stupid" belted full blast in Tap-Out's head if he can read Tap-Out's mind...

i could just see the dinobots jumping out of the decepticon ship&landing in the middle of Centuri Prime's royal lands...hope Cartagia has a lot of insurance since the Royal palaces are going to get stomped on by Grimlock's big foot...also Grimlock has pretender shell so he's grown a few IQ that he can talk normally but doesn't mean that he has a lot of common sense when it comes to diplomacy...

i'd like to see Fortress Maximus make an appearance&piss the hell out of the EA trying to attack Mars or Metroplex actually decloak in the US&try to give Clarke a piece of his mind abound alien influences...he'd step on a shadow as if it was smaller than a cockroach....

Remember "Mash potatoes can be your friends!"

Actually, I'd like to see a McDonald's in Earth Dome transform into "Bergertron" wielding a hammer that has: "Over 1 billion served" on the side of it. he he

So loving this... More!
