"Alright then, lead the way since you're the ones who know what and where it is." Astris said simply, getting ready to walk off and fight more zombies along the way.

I quirk a brow; that seemed kinda expensive to me, browsing his other wares while I wait for him to find his notes on them.

OOC: ah, thought it was dinner.

I smile. "Pretty much the same with me, came over her to help him out a little."

I raise an eyebrow. That was actually more lenient then I thought it was going to be. On either case "...huh..." I shrug, I guess our Earth society is just meaner in general, or he's just being nice.

"How about a combination of the two. She's under the guardianship of care takers who are responsible for bringing her in for a checkup each week and so on. She lives as a child from now on and has to relearn more or less everything a pup is supposed to learn to be a good, law abiding lupine."

It may have been too much to ask for honestly. I'm fully expecting the worst case here.

"I'm known as Chief...long story...and we came from (X City from X region)...Longer story. We however recently came from (X dwarves place). There was a Lupine village here and they gave me a ride to this place."

"Like I said, nothing to worry about."

They look at their heads and shake their heads as they point towards a large door behind them. "We think you should leave now." You hear the one priest say dryly as you hear a whimpering sound come from the other side. The sound sounding almost crystal like.

He nods and pulls out a book, "The smallest can hold 20 cubic feet...The next one 40 cubic feet and the largest can hold 80." He says with a nod.

OOC: Sorry Dinner hour.
IC: They all nod, "Ah thanks for that...He needs the help...Though he doesn't care to admit it." They say looking over towards a shrugging Havok.

C1: He shakes his head, "Sadly no...And right now I'm leaning towards the worst case." He says with a sigh. "At least until the trials of those she'd put away are rotting in jail....Which would be a year or so...After which she'll be free so long as she makes her weekly appointments...That why she's both punished yet at the same time treated somewhat fairly." He says sighing as he looks at Fang with an almost piteous look. "Honestly...I wish I could do better...But the law is clear on this and I'm already stretching it as far I can...She avoids spending half her natural life in jail...And for your kind thats a very long time...Only a year if that in house arrest with Guardians who can care for her..."
Fang can only blink her eyes as she looks over towards you, "C-Chief? Wa-Wassat mean?" Blue slowly rubbed the pups head, as she took another step backward.

OOC: Fucking rolls.

C2: They blink a bit, "That...Thats very far to the South....And the Dwarves?" She taps her chin and inspects you before looking down at the twin balls of fluffy by your feet. Fang still perched on Winters chest.

"Not too shabby," I muse, "How durable are they, and what happens if they're overloaded or, say, taken in water? Could I, say, carry a person or live animal around inside if I wanted to? I think I remember something about another kind warned of asphyxiation if you tried that.... And how does content retrival work?"

Five questions; all relating to practical application.

And, hey, I might be able to bring Fishy Stick with me. I'd have to fly out and go spear fishing some time soon; didn't want the spirit weapon to feel neglected. But first I ought to finish the locket, that being a fairly time-critical project. I'd probably get to that after a few more stops.

"Yes, I know, do you need any help tonight?" I say to havok

Astris sighed and got a bit ready to fight why did things have to be so complicated? "What's with the whimpering?" He looked resigned and slightly cross at a monkey wrench thrown into the works.

I look at Blue with an expression that said "Don't even think about it."

I look back at the chief and say "So let me get this straight...We're about to take down what is a small branch of a much larger organization. The stranglehold they have on this city, the influence they have, and whatever corrupt officials they had to pay off or blackmail to even get to this point will be removed. All of the items and money that belonged to them will now belong to the city goverment, and politically speaking, the vigil being the ones to break this and take down the guy would be hailed as heroes and given a bit of a free ride by those looking to score on this wave of success and get sudden co-operation from those trying to survive the incoming hellfire as the corrupt elements are wiped out. Those who are valuable as informers will be given the chance to make themselves usful as they try to save thier own scum covered skins and whatever influence they once had nearly dissapears except for the most Savvy. Higher elements use this oppertunity to take over and assert thier controls and allow Vigil to become more entrenched in the city and thus provide more protection so this element doesn't appear again. To top it off, it not only gets all of this, but could possibly lead to the larger branches of this syndicate and maybe even to the highest levels. This also doesn't include the other criminal organizations that exist outside fo the syndicate but operate under thier supervision, racketeering, murder cults, etc. Smaller organizations that are tied to the local branch simply because as the biggest they have access to the most, and due to the syndicate they also have thier own network of informants and criminal forces within thier range of control. Which means you could possibly be taking down all of the major criminals elements in the city, not just this ONE."

I shake my head "I understand the need for the law to take its course...Really...but the punishment is disproportionate to what is to be gained. The victims and so on that she had to take care of for these people will not come back...but at the least they will have solice knowing that the fuckers who orchasterated the acts were put away if not killed."

"People will always be mad at the little snake that took a life...but knowing the nest is gone puts the ease of mind into all involved knowing it won't happen again."

She probably can smell the soot from the train on me, as well as Dwarven beer and meats that they prepare in ways only a dwarf could...but I'm assuming on that. I settle on a knee to be less threatening but at the same time assure my pups it's fine. If they were a threat, they'd have done us in already.

He nods, "Water isn't a problem. Nothing passes into it unless you open the pack like so." He says opening the flap. "Otherwise water or the like wouldn't flood in...And yeah it has some air...But not a whole lot...If the pack closes you'd have ten to thirty minutes of air." He continues to think, "And the only way to break it would be to have something really sharp pierce it."

He blinks and looks up and thinks, "Well...I close for the night...But I think we can find something to do." he says with a smile. "If you have the time tonight.'

They both look at one another and sigh, "Fuck..." Turning around the one opens the door and reveals a room bathed in a blue glow. A large crystal on the inside...With a woman set in the center. "That would be her...She's the one keeping a lid on things..."

C1:Blue gives you a look that spoke she was not happy with what was going on as she tried to comfort the pup, The Vigil officer nods his head and sighs, "And thats why instead of locking her up for half her natural lifespan in a jail cell I'm giving her House Arrest for a barely a year under protective Vigil custody..." he sighs. "23 people we know about related directly to her paw....And she gets house arrest for barely a year..." He grunts a bit and thinks, you can see he was warring inside himself over this issue.

C2: They think for only a minute the pups relaxing as you rub them before the large female nods. "Alright...Grab your Pups and follow us into the village." She says with a nod as she visibly relaxes. "Sorry for the scare...But you never know what lurks out here."

I smile a bit. "Hmmm, depends on the work." I say in a tone as I walk up to him.

"That's handy, tho I guess I'll want a cap for my spear; don't like neglecting the spirit weapon, but, well...." I consider aloud.

"So what happens if it's overloaded? And how's item retrival work?" I reitterate; "I'd look kinda silly if I went to get something out of my bag and fell in because I had to reach too far," - I figured it's be a bag-of-holding-type-dealie where you just reach in and whatever you're searching for if right at hand on top, but I didn't want to make assumptions.

"...Or if I turn it inside-out or have to clean the inside?"

Astris sighed again. "Right, terrible secret, check, what's the story and reasons behind having a person encased in crystal as your primary seal? I assume you have good ones for this."

I sigh and give him time to think.

I nod understanding and pick up the pups and follow them into town.

He shrugs, "Well just some cleaning...Nothing to strenuous."

He nods, "If it's overloaded or pierced from the inside it ruptures and all your stuff vanishes...If you want something you just put your hand in and think about what you want....If you turn it inside out everything spills out unharmed."

The one priest sighs, "She's was a Mage...Back when the Undead emerged and assualted the City a plan was put together...Using a mix of Divine Magic and Sorcery this Crystal was made and placed her at a leyline nexus in order to keep something quite dangerous locked away beneath her and keep these things buried..." He says pointing towards the occasional twitching body.
"We needed a Mages...Well the strange fire all Mages have that allows them to begin fooling around with Magic...It amplifies the crystal you see...And keeps the Necromancer in suspended animation."

he says with a nod, you hear almost a crying at the edge of your hearing as you see a Ghostly figure appear kneeling in front of the crystal....Looking faintly like the woman inside.

C1: He sighs, "There are no easy ways out of this....If she were some low level thug or associate I'd be happy to cut her loose...She's different though..."

C2: They both squeak and tug on your fur babbling to be let down as you walk.
Pretty soon you reach the wolves who proceed to walk with you. The lead female smiles at the pair. "Their sure excitable."

"...Vanishes? Huh. Afraid of that. Can't put anything too valuible in it, then. Or use it to carry people," Which was a shame; backpacking with the flap open could have been hilarious, and let me fly folks around.

"Do you have a version where contained items are just ejected if it ruptures, as if it was turned inside-out? Or something similar?"

A poorly packed knife, a sharp stone, an opertunistic cutpurse, even just missjudging the combined weight of everything that had been placed inside... Too easy to lose everything. It'd still be useful, but the risk of losing everything inside, instantly and forever, limited the applications.

But for that price, I'd probably shop around instead. Or look for something that just reduced felt weight.

He blinks, "Miss the Bag is quite durable...You'd have to seriously put a strain on it to cause it to rupture." He thinks and nods, "And I think I do...Though those are a bit more expensive...But 150 gold in fact." he says with a nod.

"And if a pup ever threw a tantrum, hid inside, and was feeling destructive? It's useful, but not without steep and potentially serious risks. Why don't you give me the safer versions' specs? Ideally one that doesn't break if I misjudge the weight of it's contents," - say, only reducing felt weight up to the given limit.

"..although... where do the vanished contents go if these bags are ruptured?" Might be a good, if expensive, way to dispose of dangerous items; not like we haven't encountered a few.

I smile. "I'll get right on that." And I do get to work, leaving frost to the sisters.

"And she was willing to be part of this, aware of what would happen and the price? And have you been looking for other ways of keeping these creatures sealed since then or ways to destroy them?

I don't know much about the undead here or why certain precautions I would take haven't been taken or are impossible to." Astris asked while looking at the twitching bodies.

OOC: Missed, so you just want to skip to the end of the meal?

"It lookss like you two could usse ssome help," I chuckle as I walk up to the sink and begin assisting them with cleaning and organizing the dishes.

I sigh "So what can I do to make it easier? As you can tell, my pack is emotionally invested in this for more then a few reasons."

I smile "they are. They're experiencing alot of new things."

He shrugs, "They remain trapped in subspace."

He nods, "The safer versions have the same stats...But they do come with a handy method of knowing when you get close to overfilling it." He says, "The bag will suddenly start feeling extremely heavy as a warning."

Frost nods and follows after you as you clean. The sisters joke and talk to Havok for a few minutes before giving him a hug and wandering back out, turning around to give you and Frost a glance.

They both pause and think before nodding. "Yes...To an extent...Though releasing the creature to try and kill it was eventually deemed far to dangerous...So we left the Mage here over the things tomb...The field is strongest here..."

OOC: Yeah sorry.
IC: Shade finishes the meal and nods a little, "Well alright...If you say so..." She places enough money to pay for both of you on the table.

OOC: You don't get who their based off do you?
IC: Kam turns around and regards you, "And you are you?" he says as Simone begins to hum a tune while she cleans the plates.

C1: Blue nods a bit and holds her pups close, looking more then a little on edge. Nose flared and hackles raised.
The Man shrugs, "I don't know...This is an altogether unique situation. Why don't we get her processed, I'll try and get the House Arrest reduced."
You notice Fang start to hyperventilate and hide behind her rabbit. "Dun wanna...Don't wanna go...Don't wanna do this..." she whimpers frightened.
And was ignored, "Lets just get her booked, take her to a local judge and have her tell her story and her Sisters and get a Warrant for her old bosses arrest."

C2: She nods and moves a paw to rub the pair, Fang lifts her head up to be petted but Winter freezes, having never seen another Lupine before he moved his head away and hide in your chest fluff.
"Awwww...You have a Shy one."
