1. Still, no. The mash-up leaves out alot of details, ones that really don't work together, not to shoot it down. Mages for example are not going to be easy to explain, especially since the Earl would want them gone so as to not boost the Exorcist's standing army with mages. Not only that, but the whole Nobility system comes into question. Plus, there is the fact that the Earl operates on a Global scale, and Tristan and the other Countries are like a singular large Continent. Ultimately, the worlds do not mash up well, not with massive screwing of one world or the other.

As for Danny Phantom and Devil May Cry, you would be surprised. It takes place in a similar, if isolated, part of the Modern World. The setting for many missions and fights were large cities and country villages. It is earth, albeit slightly different. If we treat the DMC as a sort of "Hidden Aspect" of the world, it suddenly becomes a perfect fit.

Also, I was hoping someone would jump on that bit of Expo there and try to take off with a idea, but sigh.

Write. More. Now.

Or I shall be forced to write more myself.

I do not claim myself to be so bad as to force someone to rip their own eyes out, but that is only when I am thinking rationally, paying attention to what I'm writing, and not hyped up on Rule of Cool.

I am currently suffering from sleep deprivation, mostly focused on another fanfic, and having delusions of having a goblin monster character who is capable of overthrowing an entire dictatorship by yelling at people with the head of the previous dictator on a stick.

You will most likely be turned to stone, then be forced to break yourself to pieces as you rip your stony eyes out, while lava and acid rain from the skies upon your body to burn the essence of your soul away.

Actually, the Black Order already uses Magic for their technology, using golems, patron/aiding spirits etc. It doesn't seem to be that effective against them, and the Millenium Earl also use's magic, so he might not have wanted to cut of a useful resource. The fact that the Millenium Earl didn't conquer the World while their was no Innocence suggests he might not have been able to. If he slept for centuries or Millenia at a time, he might not have been able to. Actually, maybe the Millenium part of his name is a reference to his sleeping patterns?:p

Also, just because they don't play a part in FoZ does mean that they aren't aware of the rest of the world. It could easily be adjusted so their is International presence, but something is stopping them doing Mass Migration(hell, maybe the elves have a Blockade areound Halkeginia, so while small trading vessels are allowed through, large fleets aren't?).

Also, The Black Order doesn't seem to be that well known, so only high-ranking or neccisary members of the Government's and the Church could know about them, helping keep the status quo.

There's probably more, but I'm full content and sleepy, so I'll leave it here.
4. True, but the Magic on the side of the Order is very small key, and is just that. The thing is they don't have mages on the scale of the FoZ mages, who can tear the shit up but good with magic. The most Combative of the Golem's and spirits I have seen put out by the Order is that one from the East Headquarters, whats her name. FoZ mages are doing the whole "Wrath of the Elements, 50 foot tall golems to smash your face in, and magical nukes" Deal. Also, the Earl does indeed use magic, but is pretty much it. The only actually confirmed User's of Magic in the whole of the D.Gray man on any scale of power are Cross and The Earl. Otherwise, the other mages are low key that all they can produce are the little protective wards and everything that the Finders use, as well as a few other things.

There is also the whole deal that the Reason the Noah do as they do is because the oppose the False God and a whole lot that deals with Christianity or just plain god in half a dozen names and religions. The thing with the FoZ world is, they pretty much have a standing of Worshiping Brimir, not as a god, but as a Man who created the world as they know it today through his actions. Although it does pretty much approach as close as you can get with God Worship there at times.

No mean to insult you, but if your approaching this with the whole "*Insert Name Here* Is hidden Country and no one else notices this country for some dumbass Wizard-did-it reason" I swear I am going to hurt you. I will come through that screen with all the fury of Ten Thousand Dark Gods and I will do things to your Internal Organs that defy the laws of Nature and science, and I will bloody do it with a pair of chop-sticks and a Bottle cap!

So bloody sick and tired of that crap.....
5. Gore17 Lord of Insanity

By The Unholy Might of the Internet NO!!!! If I did that 'hidden nation' theme without a honestly good reason(such as it already being part of one of the settings or being underground etc.), I would kill myself in shame.

For the Magic Problem, I would not put it past the Earl for the Akuma to have sort of passive Magic Dampening Effect, which reduces all normal magics by one degree per level of Akuma.

So Level One Akuma: Dot Magic unusable, Line Magic now Dot Level, Triangle Magic reduced to Line Level, Square to Triangle.

Level Two Akuma: Dot Magic unusable, Line Magic unusable, Triangle Magic now Dot Magic, Square now Line.

Level Three Akuma: Dot, Line and Triangle Magic unusable, Square Magic now Dot level.

Level Four Akuma: All Magic Unusable.

Of course, people with Royal Blood count as two levels higher, so a Square class Royal can use Line Level Magic, and Void Users are completely immune.

*********************************

Of course, as this is a Mix-Up, we could through the entire setting out so Nobles are the rulers as they protect against the Earl, while the Excorcists are under the Royals direct command, as the Royals can awaken the Innocence for use against the Earl.

**********************************

Alternatively again, the Void Users are Noah. Just putting it out there.

Edit: Please take everything I've been saying with salt. I'm suffering from sleep deprivation, and unhealthy levels of alcohol and caffeine mix.
6. AzureGrimoire Could it possibly be rewritten, that fate of hers?

Louise suddenly has a big red dot painted on her head because of Zeronium (Yay for Magicka!Louise)...
But seriously, Magic Dampening Field... It could work... but I think it could also be a bane to the Akuma since...
Example: A mage tried to cast a Dot Level Spell in a crowned place (ie. Park) but he can't, he can deduce that there is an Akuma among the populace.
7. Gore17 Lord of Insanity

Turn it on and off, so when they start killing they turn it on, or it turns on when they show there true appearance but it's off while looking human?

Also: WHHEEEEE! your picture reminds me of Tyki!

Referring back to the Nanoha suggestion:

I had an idea a while back - though i never posted it (at least... I don't think i did?) - of Louise summoning Subaru from about six months to a year prior to StrikerS. This, if I got my timelines right, would put her around when she'd have just her level C mage ranking and would likely be also when she finishes basic training.

Anyway one of the things I had considered was that the ZnT dimension is basically 'beyond the frontier' of TSAB-controlled dimensional space. Not out of their reach per se, but somewhere that they would rarely if ever actually check out without a damn good reason first. For someone like Nanoha, or any of the Aces, then they'd have a damn good reason to be looking (though whether they'd think to look there is another matter) but for someone further down the scale... notsomuch.

This also led to the idea that the TSAB may have policies and procedures for this sort of thing. The whole 'you just found yourself somewhere you don't know.' thing - a sort of 'first contact / prime directive' type dealie which would make whoever was summoned cautious about displaying much, if any, power.

Subaru kind of works better in some ways as she has two devices, and the one built by herself (Self-made skates) could be cannibalized into a distress beacon of some kind if you want to depower her a bit further. Which is kind of what I planned to do, since I wanted to explore her use of RK more - I have this idea that it contains a lot of stuff set up the way Quint liked it, which Subaru is unwilling to change. Such as it having a really heavy Barrier Jacket (This was before I saw that Vivid chapter in which Quint is shown to use one even skimpier than Subaru's) that Subaru isn't used to using.

Not to mention she only has half of Revolver Knuckle... which probably means it's as dumb as a brick even by Armed Device standards.

I had more plans, but something that did interest me is what happens with Subaru gone from Mid? I had the (rather mean) desire to have Teana accused of her murder/kidnap/thing since what is more likely? Subaru vanishing in a green portal that no-one can find any evidence of (It's an unknown magic, they'd likely not even know what to be scanning for) or Teana murdered her and hid the body?

Sure she'd be found innocent through lack of evidence, but it'd set her off on a terribly different path to canon - and likely make Ginga really hate her to boot. Gives her more motivation to search for Subaru no matter what too, to clear her name and to simply find her friend.

As to the ZnT side of things... I had a few thoughts regarding the idea that Brimir (and a few others back then) could have begun as an ancient belkan refugee of some kind, but I never really thought those out too much sadly.
9. What if you had Vivio summoned as the familiar? Then have Nanoha and Fate turn up during the battle of Saxe-Gotha. Or perhaps the whole of RF6 turn up at the battle and afterwards the whole world ends up thinking Tristain's been training a secret order of extra-badass mages.
10. I'd like to again recommend Kefka Palazzo of Final Fantasy VI. Although Kefka's flamboyant personality would grate on Louise, I think that they would bond over time. In Dissidia, it is suggested that his nihilism and destructive tastes is his coping method for having no meaning in life. Louise might take comfort in his outlook on the world. Unfortunately, this would likely lead to a bad end of sorts. Either Louise would give Kefka back his humanity, or she sucuumbs to his dreams of madness, teaming up to ruin the world. It would certainly be a darker sort of fic, but full of drama. Also, it would not be a full curbstomp, as Kefka's powers progressively grow in the game. Plus, Kefka's humorous side would add a slight comedic blend to the whole matter, something that I approve of, as I feel that a good story has a mix of all emotions in it.
11. Prince Charon Just zis guy, you know?

Yes, we should see more of her.

12. On the subject of Louise summoning a vampire:

Dio Brando becomes the Gandalfr. Of course, unless there was an act of plot to nerf Dio or put him directly under Louise's control, that would head into Breaking Of almost instantly.

Also, +1 for Sacchin getting summoned.
13. AzureGrimoire Could it possibly be rewritten, that fate of hers?

Its Rintaro Okabe/Kyōma Hōōin from Steins;Gate.
14. Nah, she would just get either The World or Jonatan before having his body being taken over.

In fact, get Jonatan with The World.
15. Yuna would be an interesting familiar for Louise. If she is summoned post-X (or at least near the finale) she would likely be suspicious of the church and the pope. She might also be wary of Wardes, as due to her relationship with Seymour she might realize the parallels to Wardes and Louise.
16. I'd say that, if Dio is summoned, it would be best to take him shortly after he retreated into his coffin with Jonathan's corpse. This means that he's nice and sheltered from the sun, which, given that JJBA vampires die in seconds when exposed to ultraviolet light, is a very good thing for the story. It also means that he doesn't have The World, which makes him somewhat less overpowered for the setting.

But yes, Jonathan Joestar would probably be the better Summons. Giving him The World wouldn't be such a good idea, though, unless you were going to make Stands more widespread in Halkeginia, which would require a Stand arrow. Jonathan while he was alive never encountered a Stand arrow, so that would be somewhat difficult.
Alternatively, you could take a leaf from Unfamiliar's book and say that Brimir summoned a stand arrow, and which has stayed in Halkeginia all this time. Such an unusual and powerful item, of course, would likely be locked away somewhere secure.

For example, the vaults of the Tristain Academy of Magic.

(I'd also be interested in seeing a story where she summoned Major Stroheim, although it'd have to be a one-shot.)

Sad thing is that The World is Dio's own Stand not Jonathan Joestar's Stand, Part 7 finally cleared that up,
President Valentine summoned the real Dio with his Stand Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and he has The World
.

You have to create your own Stand for Jonathan if you want to give him one. :)
18. But wasn't that
another Dio from a parallel universe? If you go from the theory that Steel Ball Run is the aftermath of Made In Heaven, then it should be impossible for D4C to summon up the original Dio.
It's suggestive, but it's not conclusive evidence. That said, I've always firmly believed that The World is Jonathan's stand, so I'm a bit biased on that front. I also haven't read the volumes in question, so I'm going by hearsay on this.

That said, writing up Stands is quite fun. I might have a crack at writing one up for Jonathan, if he doesn't have The World (The name of his Stand, obviously, would be Get Back.)

EDIT: Also, would it be a good idea for any of the other characters from Phantom Blood to be summoned? I could see Joseph and Dio working together (until the sudden yet inevitable betrayal, anyway), and this might offer an opportunity for Speedwagon to do something plot-relevant for a change.

Ya, I just checked and it's a Dio from a parallel world. Still though The World is Dio's Stand, but remember that it's heavily implied that Jonathan or at least his body can use any Stand from his descendants. So that should give a hint on what his Stand actually is.

After all Dio in Jonathan's body did use Purple Hermit early in part 3.
20. Well, yes, but that is
a) a boring power
b) either ridiculously overpowered (Purple Hermit+Star Platinum+Stone Free+Crazy Diamond+Gold Experience+...) or extremely underpowered, since at the point he's being taken none of his descendants have Stands, and so his Stand wouldn't have any powers.
21. Space_Mook BANNED

Pretty much, Jonathan's Ripple should be more than enough to get him through ZnT.
22. WTF? What else is coming? Enrico Pucci? Golden Experience Requiem? King Crimson?

Seriously?
23. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is ridiculous hax.
24. Space_Mook BANNED

Eh, not as bad as King Crimson. To beat D4C you have to instantly kill its user so he doesn't go to other dimensions, then there's the fact that its very slow for a Stand can't even bullet time.
25. Well, relative to the powerlevel of its universe. Stands are a lot weaker and more limited in part 7.
