  3. Deviatesfish This doesn't mean anything...

    Make it so, number one!

I'd write it if I wasn't writing the Third Magic... one word a day.

Does anyone else get the feeling that if Tabitha's issues with Joseph ever caught up with her in this story, they'd be resolved right around the point where Alex and Bucephalus do a DYNAMIC ENTRY on the top floor of Jo's fortress after launching themselves out of a trebuchet?
  5. Deviatesfish This doesn't mean anything...

Tabitha, her sister, mother, and cousin will all fall to Iskander's... might. Joseph dies in an accident.

Let's see (I should really archive these snippets of info somewhere... beats typing them out every time...) :

Apart from Helkeginia and the Sahara, there's a Empire to the north of Helkeginia that's like Romalia - a collection of City-states ruled by the most power City-state among them. Each city state is nominally independant but follows the policies of the ruling city-state. Not specifically stated to be populated by humans, but is assumed so by the novel narratives.

To the east of the Sahara is Rub-al Khalid (sp?), populated by another ethnicity of humans who reverse engineered elven tech and have their own border wars with the elves. The tech is inferior to elves since it's just imitations (think Emiya's projection versus the real Noble Phantasms), but it's still decades ahead of anything Helkeginia has. Sheffield is summoned from there, where whe's the daughter of a bishop.

Apart from these places the rest of the world isn't mentioned yet, if at all.
You'll have to be a bit more specific on 'state of the world' here...

But here's some major relationship events, ie where the relationship actually progresses:

Vol8, after Saxe-Gotha where Saito 'died'. Louise found she can't live without Saito (and dreamed about him many times... think Twilight and Bella hearing voices) and tried to walk off a tower at the Academy to end her pain, but ends up falling onto a clay statue made by Guiche before he used alchemy to turn it to Bronze.
However... when Saito shows up saving Louise after she casts summon famliar to save herself from being captured by Sheffield and her dolls, he commented on her flat chest and negates previous progress -.-

Vol10, after the Slepnir ball where Saito kissed Henrietta Louise confronts the queen, slaps her and tells her to get away from her familiar, and if she's going to go after him again she better be prepared to fight for him.

Vol11, Saito and co go back to pick up Tifa to come to Tristain before Joseph sends someone after her Void powers. The brainwashing effects of Saito's familiar runes are erased by Tiffania after Louise said to do it: Cattleya told Louise Saito cries about missing his homeland when not around Louise, and later everyone discovers whenever he's with Louise Saito doesn't think about going home and is slowly being transformed into Louise's ldeal on her perfect partner subconsciously. Louise leaves Saito and tells him to go back to his world, as she doesn't want to enslave him anymore.
After the mindwipe Saito still comes to Louise's aid when the the prototype of Jormundgandr golems attacked them. Saying he's not doing this for her but for his friends, as nobody in the world would be attracted to Louise after going through all that abuse. Louise is out of willpower so Tabitha kisses Saito, forces Louise to get angry and destroys the golem with a big Explosion. Sheffield picks up the pieces and starts to plan for improvements.
Later en route back to Tristain Louise kisses Saito multiple times using the excuse their familiar/summoner binds is forcing her to as a means to use her magic.

Vol13: Louise takes the deal to send Saito home, offered by Vittorio. Saito and Louise went out for a date, and Louise smiled 72 times in the day - which according to her is enough times for the rest of her life as she'll never smile again. Saito then fell asleep from the drug she slipped him and is taken away by Julio.

Vol14: Louise can't handle losing Saito and asks Tifa to wipe all her memories of Saito.
Saito chose to stay and help Louise when she's being pursued by the improved Jormundgandr golems that's now immune to Explosion - his familiar bond is showing in one eye Louise and the Undine Knight's danger while his normal sight shows him his home and his mother looking into the green portal. By choosing to stay Saito narrowly misses being shot dead and had his corpse returned home as per contract - after all, no guarantees on Saito had to be alive in the deal.
After beating back the golem army with the Tiger Tank, Saito found Louise wiped her memory and at first thought it was because she couldn't stand to remember him due to dislike. Then found it's becuase of love and the pain of loss. He forcibly kisses her and the familiar bond returns Louise's memory. The two kisses again then Louise found in addition to all her memories, ALL of Saito's perverted fantasies about herself, PLUS about other girls is flowing into her as well. Cue massive beatdown.

    Vol15: Mostly Tabitha/Saito ship tease.

Vol16: Saito gets the land of Des Ornieres as reward for his actions in the campaign against Gallia. Louise goes with him whenever he return to his holdings. Louise starts to get insecure about being worthy as a partner to a war hero.
Louise saw Henrietta and Saito talking in the basement - several years ago Des Ornieres was the place where the Tristain monarch's mistress meet up, but Henrietta only found out about it that day. Saito and Henrietta doesn't do anything, but Louise saw their chemistry far surpasses the one between Saito and herself and ran away, thinking to not get between them anymore.
Saito chases after her, was intercepted by the two of the Elemental Siblings and was defeated - Derflinger was shattered in the process.

Vol17:Saito searches frantically for Louise. Karin got wind of Saito 'two timing' and is pissed (but not to the extent of coming over and beat him to a pulp). Louise meet up with some of the Elemental Siblings and goes to a monestery where she can leave her past behind. Louise sees Julio taking Yosette (Tabitha's twin sister) away from that monestery and decides to go back and warn everyone about Romalia's schemes (learns Teleport in the process). Comes in and saves Saito at last minute from being killed by an assassin after his life, one of the Elemental Siblings.

Vol18: the two of them makes up, and Louise willingly shows her naked body in front of him.
Tabitha is released by Romalia and goes to live with Saito along with Siesta and Louise.
Louise tells Eleanor she wants to be with Saito, and is willing to give up the Valliere name if necessary. Eleanor is convinced to give Saito a chance, and puts him through Training From Hell on nobility's etiquettes.

Vol19: Saito is kidnapped from his mansion by elves. No Louise/Saito progress, but Louise sets off to rescue him and found everyone else (Undine Knights, Siesta, Tabitha, Eleanor, Kirche and Colbert) planned to go rescue Saito as well.
Derflinger's spirit is transferred into Saito's katana, his 'back-up' sword after Derf was shattered.

    Vol20: no Saito/Louise moments.

    Ugh, I wish I didn't have to go to work. I wanna re-read Fate/Zero :(

Nasu-verse Alexander likes to read, at least. Particularly books on history, military tactics, and biographies of monarchs and generals. Because, how else are you gonna go to war without knowing these things? That being said, I stand by the guy who said that Nasu should be allowed to write the history books from now on. His Alexander is much more fun :)

I just had the thought of Rider reading (or having read to him) a Biography of Karin the Heavy Wind and decide that he needs such a... valuable military asset... at his side. Yes...

    Alexandra the Great!

For those who haven't read Fate/Zero, Rider's plan for winning the Holy Grail War consisted of gathering every other Servant, giving them a chance to surrender and join him, and, if that failed, engage everyone in a single massive melee. Waver was understandably flabbergasted and very, very nervous.

The conquered became infected by his energy and ended up following him willingly on his crazy dream of conquest. Their admiration of Alexander and their curiosity to discover just hat lay over the next horizon made them follow him so zealously that they stayed with him even after death, their shared consciousness becoming Ionioi Hetairoi. The men who fought for him, bled for him, and died for him, are Alexander's greatest friends. His "treasure within treasures".

    Practica, Master, practice.

That is wonderful. Thanks a bunch!
  9. Wow. At least the relationship is going somewhere. :D
  10. Techlology I have to dig.

The thing is, it probably would have worked and Fate/Zero would have had a "happier" ending.
  11. NeoSeether Time Diver

So much WIN! :D Even if it's pretty much Medusa swapping places. :p

...so I assume. Evidence is inconclusive at present.

Where's the original source for it, pray tell?
  12. Deviatesfish This doesn't mean anything...

    Red-head Medusa please.

  13. Yeah truly all he would have needed to do was make sure to be BEHIND gilgamesh when blew up the effing battlefield and let Gil tank Excalibur.

Hey what if Mr. Emiya had Gotten Iskander. Conquer the world so people stop fighting wars. Make it so the mage aren't so damn lifeless and or sociopathic all on the blood of several monsters cause the good guys for the most will fall to his AWWSOMENESS. Then they BOTH get summoned by Louise.
  14. Deviatesfish This doesn't mean anything...

Are we thinking about separating Mr. Emiya from his Mrs. and Daughter? Someone will die. It might be Zelretch.

  15. Zelretch will be smart enough to prepare for a contingency in case someone can track him down across the worlds. After all, there is a reason why he was once an acquaintance with Zouken.
  16. Deviatesfish This doesn't mean anything...

Louise should just do the smart thing and summon Iris and Ilya if she's taking both Mr. Emiya and Alexander.

  17. No they'll just be summoned by Pope McDongcopter where infected by Alexander they will then proceed to conquer Romali from within giving Alexander a Beachhead in the Church the major social center and GUN and Portals To drag in his Army with bigger Guns in.
  18. S J C GDI Commander

Then once the world is his, He will use the portal to return to Earth and conquer it. Then he repeat the process across the universe.
  19. Techlology I have to dig.

Speaking of Portals, Louise summons Rick.
  20. Gearhead The Metroid of Humor

The funny thing was, it probably would have worked if he'd gotten a different set of Heroic Spirits present at the same time. Nero from Fate/Extra would've been quite happy to go along with the plan, she doesn't give a damn about the Grail at all, she just wants to be worshiped as the living goddess she is. (Not inclined to argue with a woman with an ego so huge and so CERTAIN that it violates consensual reality.)
  21. Cpl_Facehugger The Strongest in Gensokyo.

Blargle. I wish people would translate the later novels into English. They actually sound pretty decent. :(
  22. I've been wondering recently, what if it was Henrietta rather than Louise who had inherited the Void magic. If it had started the same way with people assuming she can't use magic, the royal family would've gone to great lengths to hide it. Not to mention her position as heir would have become much more precarious.

Also as long as I'm here can I just ask, is there anything in canon to stop void mages casting buff spells (e.g. haste) on other people.
  23. SGTschlock Hunger: Sated

    Ok. THIS is awesome.

    Fund it.
  24. Hectonkhyres Impressed with Florida Man's Work Ethic

Honest Question: What the hell would happen if Mister Rodgers never died? He was merely summoned by Louise.
  25. Louise would be utterly unable to use void because its powered by being messed up in the head and he would completely fix that.
