I've got the ones I wrote for Magicka Louise and Mine Zero compiled, though I'm not sure where to put them.

Put them right here with a note to every to pm you the snippets to make the Table of Contents. I do believe that would work. Then put the in thier own threads. or just link a snippets thread.

Mine Zero

Louise was conflicted. This particular feeling didn't come easily to the dimunitive pinkette often. She had fears, yes, but she strove to get past them. She had doubts, but she powered through nonetheless. If pushed, she might even acknowledge that sometimes she was a little foolhardy and quick to anger. But being truly indecisive on anything just didn't come to her.

*thunk*

Looking at her familiar however, made feeling that very easy.

*thunk*

On one hand, she had succesfully summoned and contracted a familiar, proving to all her detractors that she was a proper mage. On the other hand...

*thunk*

She had no Brimir blasted idea what it was. Oh, it could charitably be called a human, if one were overly inebriated with strong spirits and maybe a few of Eleanore-nee's potions. It had two arms, a pair of legs, walked upright, had a head that if you squinted right, possessed human features.

*thunk*

Except it was all blocks. Yes, it had arms and legs, but they were just blocks, and lacked the ability to bend. Louise had to rub her eyes just watching the thing walk to convince herself she wasn't seeing things. How it managed to smoothly move across the ground with unbending limbs, she had no idea. And if it could talk, she had seen no sign of it. She was completely flummoxed at this strange, incomprehensible being. Even bugbears made more sense than her familiar.

*thunk*

Who, for some reason, was punching a tree.

*thunk*

"Stop that!" Louise stamped her foot. "I won't have my familiar injuring itself by being so stupid as to punch a tree with-"

The tree crumbled- no, it disintegrated. One moment it had stood there, unbending to the repeated blows of her stupid familiar, the next it was sawdust and... neat corded blocks? She gaped as her familiar scooped up the chopped wood with an arm, quickly arranging them in some unfamiliar pattern. Was her familiar an earth mage? But... there hadn't been a chant, and an Earth mage wouldn't need to do something so common like chop down a tree.

Suddenly the wooden blocks weren't there anymore. And just as suddenly, there was an axe in her familiar's hand, but made of wood.

The third daughter of the Valliere family boggled.

Half an hour later, Louise buried her face in her hands, unable, perhaps unwilling, to rein in her familiar as he continued to do things her mind screamed was all but impossible. She wasn't the only one to do so, a few other students having joined her in watching the unfolding spectacle, Kirche and Tabitha as well.

In that brief a time span, her familiar had gone through several trees, as well as dug up a ditch that seemed to serve no purpose other than to provide raw earth for his frenzied construction.

Dirt had become a small hillock, wooden blocks laid next to each other to become a seamless wall without an ounce of mortar or tar to join them. Tools sprang into existence in its hands, first of wood, then stone as it ploughed through the forest for raw materials. A narrow pillar of dirt had been raised up to the height of a three storey building, with a ladder running to the top. From there, an inexplicable wooden hut, and then expanded to a lodge the size of a decent town house had been built. Somewhere along the way, a channel had been added, creating a waterfall which fed the ditch with a slowly rising pool of water. And somehow, the wooden pillar that was no wider than she was continued to support its entire weight.

And then her familiar had dropped down... and demolished the pillar!

She had nearly screamed at her stupid familiar for committing such a convolutedly insane suicide, except the words wouldn't come as she waited for the house to come down and squish him flat.

Only, it didn't. It stood there in the sky, without a single supporting element. Her familiar had built a flying house, and as best as she could tell, he did it without a single windstone. Amidst the stunned silence of the crowd, her familiar turned back to the waterfall, jumped into it... and swam all the way to the top where he vanished into the lodge.

"You know Zero, it's fitting." Kirche's voice was a mix of wonderment and amusement, "that your familiar makes Zero sense."

"It's a 'cannon'." Louise said flatly, her doubt so strong the quotation marks could be heard.

The structure she was looking at resembled nothing of the sort. It was a tall, narrow but long structure made of stone, with long hollows filled with endless red blocks. Each block had a paper sign on them, spelling out the word 'TNT', though for the life of her, Louise didn't know what that meant. In fact, she only knew that it was a cannon by dint of the sign her familiar had placed in front of it.

"And you're going to launch a cow out of it."

The bovine in question was sitting atop a minecart, lowing with nervous energy as it tried to unsuccesfuly move within its confines. That was understandable. The minecart was inexplicably sitting on top of the apparent 'barrel', again conveniently labelled, of the 'cannon'. Not even the most oblivious of creatures could miss the sense of impending doom. Her familiar only nodded. And pressed a button.

Later, when the ringing in her ears stopped and Louise stopped seeing double, she got up, walked over to her familiar, and slapped him. It hurt her hand, and likely did nothing but surprise the helmetted thing, but it felt good. The cow... was nowhere to be seen. That was when her familiar pointed at the sign again.

It now read "Moon cannon"

Louise knew what railways and minecarts were of course, her family owned several mines where they were employed to ease the shifting of ores. So it was no surprise to her that she saw the familiar metal and wooden constructs one day.

No, her surprise was seeing them encircling the academy grounds in a complete circuit. Not one railway line, she realized, but two, running parallel.

And running on those rails, side by side, at speeds she thought only wind dragons could achieve, were a pair of minecarts.

On fire.

With her familiar inside.

Louise closed her eyes, counted to ten, and looked outside the window again.

Right on cue, her familiar and his unconventional ride streaked by, trailing a wreathe of fire in their wake.

Louise watched him streak three more times before turning around and heading right back to bed. The day could only get stranger if she remained awake.

Also, Masha good stuff, your stuff is quality stuff. As usual of course. I always love it when Louise has no idea what the hell is going on while the other goes on their merry way without noticing...... would the Miner get a custom skin? or a world mod?

Ohh, I wonder what was Louise reaction when she learned that her Familiar, is deadly afraid of the dark, and that when he enters somewhere dark, liberally plants torches around. Heh.

Well I imagine anybody knocking a hole in the floor of the Tristain Academy will probably find some kind of giant Death Shaft.

More likely, they're hearing unearthly moans and squeaks and clacks from underground ALL THE TIME.

I had a thought.

Remember how beds work for the miner? They will work for Louise in the same way too.

That's to say, she will wake up in the middle of the night with a living skeleton poking her on the face with an arrow.

I can't wait for Mine Zero to become a full fledged story the way this is going. Maybe for a full out "Breaking of" is a Multiplayer ver?

Still can't wait for Louise reaction to the following:
1)Obsidian
2)Nether
3)Pumpkins(wearing them at least)
4)Dispensers(using arrows or eggs)
5)Lava and Snow
6)A floating island made of cobblestone,dirt, and/or snow.

Oh, and don't forget pig riding!

what about boat elevators, Automated rail stations, Mob traps, underwater houses... Lava!! Lava Beacons. Trees, Giant trees (planting several tress one in top of another...)

now I'm hoping to see the Miner making a fire sword using lava, and then using fire to make chainmail...

Hm, has anyone suggested Asura yet? Or do we not know enough yet?

Asura probably would fall under breaking of. Since he's apparently trying to rescue his daughter who the guys he's fighting kidnapped. While we don't know everything about Asura, what we've seen so far suggests that getting sidetracked from rescuing his daughter might make him...angry. Although being described as a big papa wolf might allow him to bond with Louise as a father figure...which would probably lead him to being incredibly pissed off at anyone's attempt to harm/exploit her.

So yeah. Expect ALLOT of angry screaming and punching.

Don't forget the Far Lands!

What are the Far Lands anyway? I'm not familiar with that.
