Anyway! Darth, in your snippet, would he always so loud? XD There's certainly a charm in characters speaking in third person, or giving titles and using full names when talking with others.

As for the Henrietta seducing Saito... she tries to seduce him any time she can. When she started courting him, she was willing to showering him with gifts until Louise outright told her to stop. Then Henrietta disguised -with magic- herself as Louise and she and Saito tried to choke the other with their tongues. Then Louise slapped Henrietta.

It didn't stop Henrietta of keep trying, though. She's too "innocent" to realize she's destroying her friendship with Lousie, though.

There's a solution to that. Read this and tell me if this spell doesn't look like it came straight from God.

Just when dealing with his enemies. Wodan, like his genetic base, Sanger Zonvolt, is a legendary Large Ham with a major flair for the dramatic, but his character apart from that is pretty much an archetypal samurai, less so than Sanger, though.

The story with these two is that Wodan is an AU version of Sanger who died in battle and was resurrected as a cyborg of sorts. In comparison to Sanger, Wodan is presented as having "lost his way" on the path of Bushido as a consequence of being essentially undead. His battles with Sanger in the OG timeline remind him of who he used to be, and he ultimately dies as the man he once was, while accepting that he can never be the real Sanger again. Wodan's personality in Sword of Louise would be much like Sanger but with an added desire to find his place in the world, since he tried killing Sanger to become Sanger and ultimately failed.

I do know she gave him a noble name, land w/ mansion, and when they meet again thru secret passage, Henriettta tries to seduce him. I believe he declines or was interrupted by Louise who runs off with Saito chasing her.

She is a 17 year old girl. It sounds like she is really desperately wanting to be with someone she loves(rather having to marry for political reasons). If it wasn't for that, it sounds like she is a very good ruler.

I was talking more about willingly going to Albion, and either Cromwell controlling her or she going along with it, giving him use to the hexagonal magic.

Re: Sword of Louise - I'm rather hoping to see more of it.

Weird idea: Somehow, Louise summons Prince Wales Tudor of Albion. He's a bit stunned by the explosion, and isn't wearing anything to princely, and thus isn't recognized until some time after Louise completes the ceremony. The Prince of Albion is now Gandalfr.

After a lot of diplomatic (and undiplomatic) argument, Wales removes himself from the Albion line of succession, and Louise receives a Court appointment as an adviser to Henrietta (thus allowing Wales and Henrietta to be together, without it being all that suspicious). Of course, that's not going to stop Albion from invading, nor certain foreign leaders from being utter dicks, but you need a story, after all.

Might end up as a harem, but if so, I hope Wales will be written as someone who deserves the harem he gets.

Well he would help her develop her powers, but also subtly force her to confront and deal with the sources of her personal issues and insecurities. I mean the guy essentially forced Artemis Entrei to confront his mother issues,(granted this process included a series of murders), after that playing psychiatrist to a little girl should be a cakewalk.

Once he's helped Louise confront her fear of being useless and obsession with winning her family's approval , Louise will be able to become the person she wants to be... with a few suggestions and guidance from old Jarlaxle of course.

And let the hilarity begin.

Alright, so I've really only skimmed the ZnT originals. Can someone fill me in a little more on these rings that get mentioned once in a while, sometimes in connection with rubies?

Edit: do we ever find out who Louise's father is? I know he showed up in HoS briefly, if memory serves, but was that canon?

she does have a father. Appears first time they visit Louise's home.

Canonically, Louise is the daughter of the Duke de La Vallière and Karin the Heavy Wind.
