OOC Thread W3N News Network: "... this shocking revelation as Kane himself meets with the GDI council to discuss an ALLIANCE! A FUCKING ALLIANCE WITH A MASS MURDERER!" "Frank, we can't "fuck" on the news!" "WHO CARES?! GDI just betrayed everything it stood for-" *Bzzzz* --- GDI Official Broadcast: Former General Jack Granger sighed. "It's a sad day when GDI and Nod are forced to alliance, and so it's happened again. It happened in the Firestorm Crisis, and now history has repeated itself. All GDI forces are to cease actions against Nod operations..." Kane, standing next to him nodded, "And the Children of Nod are to cease their efforts against GDI. The future is coming, and the path is being paved." Granger glared at his former enemy and cleared his throat. "In order to fight Tiberium, a joint Alliance is formed for the creation of a Tiberium Control Network, which will regulate Tiberium growth and, eventually, return the world to Blue Zone status. I urge everyone to remain calm, Nod troops will not have authority in GDI territory or over GDI protected towns..." "But," Kane interjected, "Nor shall GDI have such over Nod territory... and this is in absence of authorities from the other party to keep the peace. Now, it is time to build the future. This is the path to Ascension, Children of Nod. Distasteful it may be to you, this is the path." --- Gideon's Broadcast: "Children of Nod, the Prophet has betrayed us! He has joined forces with the Global Defense Initiative. And for what purpose? To destroy the Holy Crystal! Yes, Children, the Prophet himself has betrayed his own faith. I call on you in the name of the Brotherhood to rise against this tyranny, to prevent GDI from claiming victory from the closing strike of their just defeat!" Gideon's fiery rhetoric revealed the pain of the betrayal. "Brother Marcus learned of this, and in faith to NOD he struck against it! Now I call on you to do the same, to fight GDI in the fields, in their crumbling cities, in their bases! Rise, Children of Nod, rise to defeat the oppressors once and for all!" *bzzz* --- Daily Journal: "Tiberium Control Network? What bullshit is this? Is anyone wondering about the fact Kane is a mass murderer?! Are we going to let Kane walk in our own back yard, and let all the death he's caused go unanswered for?! People, vote against GDI! Make it clear that this will NOT stand!" --- Today's Execution "While we did promise the execution of the GDI marauder Captain J. Raynor, due to this infernal alliance Kane has made..." "Bloody hell Omar, are you crazy?!" "The truth must be spoken. Kane has betrayed the ideals of his own prophecy! He had sold out to the oppressors! Children of Nod, throw your support behind Gideon!" *Bzzz* ---- TX Network: "GDI claims that this alliance will not threaten individual lives, yet already the Brotherhood is fracturing, and a new Tiberium War is now a likely possibility. Not a war between GDI and Nod, but a war of GDI and Nod against any who oppose the Tiberium Control Network. Already riots are happening in towns feeling betrayed by this Alliance, forcing measures to be taken as the first crews are being readied... --- The Universe Channel: "To assist in this project," Caruso said, beckoning to a young, almost teenaged scientist sitting nearby, "I've recruited Doctor Jonathan Pascal to assist us..." --- True Facts 141: "We just got a disturbing video from an anonymous source..." A video of a GDI medic being crucified with Tiberium nails staking her to the cross is shown... and below it, a caption explaining where it had come from. A Nod execution by one Sister Isabella in Ethiopia. --- --- --- The Fourth Tiberium War is now underway. What news will you have?
A brief interupt to your normal viewing... Television sets all around the world tuned into the Nod channels flickered slightly, before a stream of videos clips merged together started to play with background music. Most of them portrayed Nod holding the line against GDI, the Scrin and others promoting Tiberium, words from Kane speaking of how it is Holy and above all else protected from GDI. The sets then faded into the view a woman, smiling lightly at the camera. Long blond hair framed her face, clear of her sparkling green eyes that seemed to look right through those watching. “Brothers and Sisters.” Her voice was strong, powerful and demanding of respect and authority, “Nod has fractured. A people once united in the cause of the Holy Crystal Tiberium shattered under the hammer that was Kane’s joining of GDI.” In the top right corner of the screen, the message that had gone out to the world declaring the alliance between Kane and GDI. “Without a thought of his own, Kane stepped off the path he had laid out before his people.” Isabella’s voice was hard each syllable carrying a force, “Those who did not follow his sudden shift in belief were branded as traitors to be killed. Those who were deemed most unlikely to accept even sold out to the GDI prior to the alliance to seal the deal.” Isabella went quite, over the speakers played a slightly modified version of Kane’s talk with Mc’Neil. It missed out Von Wolf and his plans, but spoke clearly of the selling out of an outstanding and loyal commander. “This is the fate of those Kane deems of no use to him anymore. Of those that have given everything to him and the cause he had preached for countless years.” She was firm with her speech, not raised, but putting emphasis where needed. There was a pause as she let the message sink into those watching. “My Brothers and Sisters, we should not be fighting each other. This is a weakness that we can ill afford. We are those who believe in the Holy Crystal, of Tiberium, those that have embraced it into our bodies and are immune to any ill effects, NAY! We are restored and rejuvenated by it instead.” Isabella said with ferocity, “GDI would deny us our birthright, would see Tiberium destroyed from the world. We should not be working with them towards this goal.” The broadcast Killian Qatar did stating that Nod had to ally with GDI to escape extinction played on the screen “Killian Qatar. Damned in the histories of Nod as a Traitor to the cause for first her attack on Temple Prime and second for her alliance with GDI during the alien attacks.” She spoke plainly now. Next played Kane’s return and his statement of her betrayal of him and Nod in allying with GDI, no matter the reasons. This was quickly followed by the short video of the execution of the beautiful woman. “Kane himself has now followed in the steps of the person who he ordered the death of.” Isabella’s words were cold, “Brothers and Sisters, I ask you. Why would you follow a man who punishes the actions of what he planned to do himself!? Why would you follow a man who betrays those who serve him loyally and without question?!” Isabella folded her hands in front of her magnificent chest, barely contained by the uniform. “I do not hate or blame those who had chosen to follow the fallen prophet.” Her words now simple, “I know he has led some of you astray from our true path. I ask you all to think why you are following Kane now. Does he still act and stand for the reasons you joined the Brotherhood?” She carefully let people consider what she was saying before continuing. “Brothers and Sisters. I ask you all to remember who have stood beside you through thick and thin.” Her words were simple, “Nod will always stand with you, if you stand with them. To help GDI is to betray your family. Kane will have you betray what you have stood for for so long. Gideon wishes to bring us all together once more, join us and stand for the true Brotherhood. For the values we have always held dear.” Isabella’s eyes twinkled, “Peace Through Power.” The screens went dark again before returning to normal scheduling.
BNN3 News network broadcast: A decorative image of a Nod temple loomed ominously in the background, curved scorpion tails forming an unusual pattern. A reverberating loud noise brought attention to the screen before the image shrunk to a corner, revealing a familiar desk of the type that news stations had used for years. Seated behind the desk were two good looking people, a square-jawed, fit dark haired arabic man and a voluptuous, curvy blonde woman. The man spoke first with a serious expression. "I am Aasif Balochi." "And I'm Susan Lammie and this is Brotherhood International News at ten." The woman finished with a smile that could stop traffic. A popup of Gideon's face came up as the camera focused on the man. "Tonight, analysts discuss the traitor Gideon's mad crusade and how it is doomed to failure no matter how many of the fellow traitors being labeled as "Giddies" by Brotherhood troops he has." "Then later we'll have a specialist from Idris on to speak on the Tiberium Control Network and dispel false rumors about the TCN and what it means for people around it." An understanding and kind voice, trying to put a good face on the TCN. "But first, today's top story, the Nod-GDI alliance. Since it was first announced last July, loyal Brotherhood troops have been setting aside their differences in the name of unity to make this alliance work in various ways. From assisting in fighting the foolish Separatists to working jointly on the TCN to aiding in the defense of a Steel Talon base near Berlin, Nod has been more than doing it's part to uphold the alliance with the Global Defense Initiative. Despite the best efforts of loyalists, certain factions within GDI are quite outspoken against the alliance and the Brotherhood. Mainly the infamous Colonel Louise James, but other members are also quick to blame Nod for any misfortune. One GDI commander by the name of Harrison Ford operating out of South Africa was one such man. Following his decision to allow a mutant group to settle in nearby an established town of Kendrew without asking, the man went on to declare the Second Tiberium War a victory won by GDI thanks to the Forgotten, outright bribing the town with money to influence them and then called a meeting to discuss the issue of the town raising a militia, broadcast to the entire town live. The following is unedited footage from said meeting:" The unedited footage played, demonstrating the commander's ignorance and overbearing nature, including his declaring that Nod was behind the militia and that they were going to drive the human and mutant town to war. It switched back to a raised eyebrow by the news anchor who still couldn't believe what he had just seen. "In addition to the obvious flaws of thinking, the Nod news team can confirm that the Brotherhood has no ties to that settlement beyond a minor group of supporters, much less having control over it's leadership and decisions." "Hopefully as the alliance goes on GDI will take a leaf out of the Brotherhood's book and try to be less accusatory and more helpful." "We can only hope Susan." "Next up is our panel of analysts-"
W3N "-And so we switch from sports to news from Sweden, where we are getting reports that tiberium is starting to break out into the city of Stockholm. We go to Casey, live on the scene." The camera switches scenes to show a rather pretty young woman with short cut brown hair and brown eyes, clad in a hazmat suit and standing in the middle of a Stockholm street. "Thank you. Mere days ago during an ion storm, a field amid the city tiberium broke containment." The woman turns and gestures towards the seemingly near deserted city. "The populance is keeping inside whenever possible due to elevated risk of ambient tiberium exposure. Experts say that infestation is imminent, barring intervention." A light smile decorates Casey’s face. "However, luckily for them, GDI already has a commander, one John Parker of the 256th General Arms, based nearby. Having arrived at the beginning of the year, asides from having a few issues helping quell the February riots alongside Idris and throwing out the Nod soldiers who had stirred them up, things have been relatively quiet for him... Until now." "Stockholm is in danger of being entirely overrun by the tiberium breakout. Sweden watches with bated breath for GDI’s response to the possible loss of one of their oldest cities. Now comes time for Commander Parker to show his worth by stopping this outbreak. This was Casey Entarren of W3N. Back to you, Rachael." BNN "-Getting disturbing reports of GDI conduct out of South Africa, where we go to Johnny Cooperman. Johnny, what can you tell us of the situation down there?" Suddenly, the television shows a thin man in a hazmat suit with black hair and blue eyes, who starts speaking in a severe tone. "It’s pretty bad, Jack. The local GDI commander, Harrison Ford of the 165th General Arms, has quite bluntly gone off his rocker." Johnny stares intently ahead at the camera, as if his every word is of upmost importance. "Apparently not believing in one’s right to defend oneself, Commander Ford has repeatedly attempted to block the Mayor Sherridan of the local township of Kendrew from training up militia. This is despite not only a mutant settlement recently setting up shot nearby, and Nod having recently attacked the township, but the GDI officer has refused to station even a token force in the town for its defense." The reporter sets his jaw. "Indeed, instead of helping out himself, Commander Ford’s only response was to hand over an entire power plant, and nearly 12,000 dollars in cash, to Kendrew’s ownership... And, apparently not satisfied with simple apathy and laziness, you know what he did then?" "He accused their using the resources to build up their resources to be a Nod plot!" Johnny roars, now appearing angry. "He threatened Sheridan to march into Kendrew and use force to take back the power plant and cash, which I might note was military grade and officially given over to their ownership instead of keeping it GDI property, if they did not halt their training of militia. While giving them no reason to think for even a second,” He raises a finger as he growls. "That GDI would give them any protection whatsoever, while Nod forces have shown themselves perfectly happy to murder and terrorize them." "That GDI has made no response whatsoever and left Commander Ford in charge of operations is an outrage, ranking up with their lack of investigation into Commander Parker, the reports of civilian casualties during the February Stockholm riots he was responsible for putting down, and rumors that helped save Kane, KANE, during the massive battle north of Stockholm. GDI has seemingly gone crazy, following their newfound friendship with the Brotherhood. I, for one, say that we should all prepare for the worst." Johnny declares ominously. "Johnny Cooperman, BNN. Over to you, Jack." Jack stares at the camera, as he gives a smile of strained politeness. "How... Enlightening... Johnny. We’re thankful for your... Special... Insights." There’s an awkward pause. "...And now a word from our sponsors!" And the television cuts to commercials...
TFoN News The pirate broadcast started, the letters flowing across the screen in bright red against a dark green background. True Followers of Nod News It wasn’t the most inspired name. It wasn’t done on a large budget. But they always seemed to get people places. The screen fuzzed and a young man with ragged black hair came into focus, in a city somewhere. Some gunfire could be heard here and there along with a lot of yelling. “This is Slipknot, inside man of news for the people of Gideon.” He stated giving a big thumbs up, “I’ve got into the city town of Esperance, where the forces of the Traitor Kane have been oppressing the people of this town.” The view panned to a group of Gideon troops firing their rifles in the air, making their protest known. “There we have disgruntled civilians taking up arms to protest against their bullying `overlords` and have been met with brutal retaliation in the form of heavy Nod forces.” The man spoke with passion that only a student could, “Tanks, Cyborgs, they are throwing the whole kitchen at them, never mind just the sink. This is an outrageous show of aggression and military muscle flexing, against what is only a series of demonstrations.” A patrol passed by, keeping their distance from the rioting forces. “Rumour has it, that a Loyal Brother of Gideon has come to rescue this city from their rule, but not only that, in the spirit of Brotherly love and compassion, asked that those forces aligned with the great Traitor to stand with them, to throw off their yoke to GDI and be a whole again in purpose.” Slipknot seemed to buzz of this, bouncing all over the place, hair wild, “But, so far there has been no reply to his generous offer, and tension is increasing. We can only hope that those still Loyal to the Traitor Kane will see sense and join the great crusade against our true foe. GDI.” Panning back to Slipknots face he winked at the camera, “I’ll be keeping you up to date on the happenings here, let us all hope for the right outcome.” The young man gave his signature double thumbs up at the camera, “Keep on fighting the good fight Brother Gideon and all those who follow the true path.” The screen went fuzzy again and the next program was about to start…
BNN3 News network broadcast: The now familiar temple image of the Brotherhood News Network came up as the program came onscreen. The intro played and the two regular hosts came on, introducing themselves once more as Susan Lammie and Aasif Balochi. "Today's top story, the traitor Isabella LeBeau remains at large." An image of the woman popped up by the speaking man's head. "This deceitful traitor is believed to be within the South African region still, spreading vile lies and heresy to all foolish enough to believe her. Disloyal to all, she encourages such activities in her own men, having them fight to the death for promotions to weed out the weak in a pit for her own amusement. All faithful followers of Nod are encouraged to shoot her or any of her soldiers on sight or to report their positions. Later on we will have former acquaintances of hers on that wish to denounce her and declare her sins for all to know such as one of her former teachers." Susan smiled as the camera turned to her. "In other news we have a live report from Esperance, Australia where our on-scene reporter Candace Kington is surveying the aftermath of a Gideon backed riot." The screen cut in half revealing an attractive red-head with short hair, she wasn't sexy like Susan was but she was cute and her hair was being tossed in the gusty wind that swept through the town. "Thanks Susan, we're here on site at Esperance, Australia, what was once a peaceful town with a lovely name, centering it's economy on a tiberium refinery purchased from the Brotherhood of Nod now has been ravaged by war. First the mutant warlord Ironclad attacked the town, held off only by the combined efforts of Esperance's militia and the nearby Brotherhood base known as Spesfio led by one Commander Alistair Kraze. Now recently Gideon's people have tried spreading their clutches here, and they partly succeeded, turning a good portion of the militia and poisoning nearly half the town with their lies. Following that, the Separatists armed many of the civilians with light infantry weaponry and set them to riot, slaying their neighbors and soldiers alike. They also sent some soldiers of their own, counting on their foolish supporters to do most of the dying for them as they attacked loyal Nod troops that were attempting to patrol the town and protect it against outside assault. Commander Kraze sent his forces into town to extract his people and try to restore order, broadcasting this speech in response to a Separatist leader demanding they shrug off GDI's shackles forsake Kane." The speech that Kraze had given was played to the audience at home. "Sadly the patrolling force composed of combined forces from the Commander and reinforcements against Ironclad sent by Abbess Maja were killed by the betrayers, save for one brave squad known as Thunder Hammer who were put into critical conditions and are recovering as we speak. However the fallen accounted for themselves, slaying a goodly sized amount of the enemy before succumbing. And the retaliation, as promised by the commander was swift and brutal, his forces quickly dispatching the remaining twenty some squads of enemies within the space of a few minutes. I'm told that the commander personally took out four squads himself with a sniper rifle. With the Separatist assault force destroyed and the people of Esperance settling down, things will perhaps become peaceful once more for this quiet town." "We can only hope so, Candace." Said Susan. "How about the reporter from the So-called news station the Separatists have set up? The one calling himself Slipknot?" Asked Aasif queryingly. "Has that traitor met justice for spreading vile lies?" "He appears to have managed to stay true to part of his name and slip away on a moped during the fighting from what little I've managed to gather from the soldiers now acting to support the remaining Loyalist militia in the area." "A great shame. But traitors like him always get what they deserve in the end, and in time he'll see an actual slip knot as part of the noose around his neck." "With any luck you'll be right Aasif. This is Candace Kington, signing off." With that they segued into a report about the Stockholm situation.
BNN3 News network broadcast: A brown scorpion quickly scuttled across the screen from the upper-right to the lower-left, leaving behind a screen with big bold letters in red: BNN3 Special News Report It was quickly wiped away and replaced with Aasif waiting behind his desk, papers in hand. "I am Aasif Balochi and this is a BNN3 Special News Report." He said to the camera before turning to another. "It is now confirmed that a Shadow team was inside the building earlier, they infiltrated the outer areas and attempted to assassinate the crew of the ongoing report, only to be stopped by a reinforced door. Thankfully following their failed breaching attempts these murderous scum were slain by the defense forces of this station. Unfortunately some defenders died in the ensuing battle. Brother Gary Roth Sister Louise Mitchelson Brother Hammad Jorgenson Brother Moukid Damji Brother Rory Martin The names of five heroes who died in this senseless attack against those that spread the true word of the Brotherhood. They will be remembered by those they died to protect and I hope by our viewers. We here at the third Brotherhood International News Network vow to not be silenced by such attacks, Gideon may send as many fools as he wishes to our doorstep, we shall continue to speak the truth and tell you what you need to know until our dying breaths! The Brotherhood's reporters did not bow before GDI and they shall not bow before this arrogant fool that thinks he knows better than our messiah! Try to murder us all you wish, if we should fall our message shall only be carried on by others! Peace through power!" ----- Video: Nod Separatists Fail To Open Door Uploaded by: ScorpFreak18867 November 12th The video began with leaked footage of the Shadow Team entering the news station via a door that was hacked, their shapes invisible to all but the most keen and trained eyes until they interacted with anything. It followed them for a few minutes as they went deeper and deeper into the building until they reached a doorway that had "Studio" outside of it, the shapes getting into position with weaponry before one revealed himself by kicking the door. Then the music began and things sped up to double time. First the shadow team member danced back, grabbing his foot while another tried busting in the doorway, then they moved back after placing some explosives there to the music in quick time. The camera that had been watching was taken out and another farther away one had it's footage jumped to. The shadows tried multiple things to get through the doorway before one of them collapsed from bullet damage. The others fled and the chase was on. In and around hallways, through various locations, inside a break room where one of them had coffee flung on him, the chase continued for awhile with the shadow team taking hits until there were two left, one trying to cart off his comrade towards an exit. Both were surrounded and shot a hell of a lot by bullets, the bodies seeming to twitch in time to the music via good timing. Some small credits streamed before the video ended. Top Comments: LoyalistWolf17: Silly Giddies, it was a pull door, not a push. Havocfan902: @LoyalistWolf17: I think I figured out how to Shadow-proof buildings now. GideonIsRight: I noticed you edited out the parts where YOUR people got shot.
January, 2063 BNN3 News network broadcast: The resoundingly familiar symbol of the network popped up to even more viewers than it had had for the last broadcast, the attempted murder of the crew by Gideon's shadow team and their failure and execution along with the video had gotten more people interested in watching the news channel to see if it would repeat, the exact opposite of what the Separatists had wanted. "I am Aasif Balochi." The man who looked as stern as ever said, prompting his co-worker to say her part. "And I'm Susan Lammie and this is Brotherhood International News at ten." The woman's smile was as stunning as it had been the day she had gotten a job there. She turned to the side to face a camera, a picture imposed on the screen by her head showing the symbols of GDI and Nod together. "It's a new year for the world and with it comes the continuation of the most unexpected alliance in history. Reports of success continue to come from all around as Brotherhood and GDI work together for a common cause against the Separatists. Raids by our foolish enemies have been repeatedly thwarted, their influence beaten back and more and more of the Tiberium Control Network comes online despite their best efforts to stop it, increasing the funding of the Alliance greatly and allowing for increased amounts of weapons to be made. Daily reports are made of those in the alliance working together well to mutual benefit, their forces uniting to defend various towns around the globe." The scene switched back to show both broadcasters again with Aasfi speaking. "And along with this month comes one of the first joint strikes against a Separatist base, completely overwhelming the moderately sized fortification with superior numbers and tactics. The two minds behind this operation were the fearless Brotherhood Commander Helmut Stahl and GDI Commander Jane Ribbon. The assault was brutal and overwhelming and the enemy's forces were quickly decimated and forced to hole up in their buildings. However upon being given offers of surrender the leader of the base started killing all of his technical support personnel that attempted to accept the offer, prompting Stahl to charge in with his forces, personally leading the way. The brave leader was shot in the chest but thankfully saved by his armor, proceeding to raise his rifle and sending a round straight through the head of the enemy commander, signalling the end of the battle and the utter defeat of the separatist forces."
BNN 8 o'clock news The host is a calm and collected man in his 40's, well dressed in his suit; "Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I am John McArthur. Todays leading story is the mutant attack on the 81st Armoured Regiment in Portugal." His baritone voice rolls smoothly into the listeners ears. The screen changes, obviously a replay from a helmet cam from some Zone Infantryman. A long line of infantry and some vehicles are approaching, with John providing the voice over. "Some time ago, the Office of Defense refuses to say when, a large force of mutants arrived in the area policed by the 81st for unknown reasons. When all attempts to contact them were answered with only insults and threats, the defenders quickly manned the walls." "Their attempted attack ran into a few problems however." An invisible line is crossed and rockets stream forth, the sound of their launch and gunshots dampened for household viewers. The first volley was devastating however, mostly bringing down the mutants anti vehicle capabilities. If the first attack was devastating, the second was ruinous, with GDI rockets and bullets swiftly tearing apart the mutant ranks while the mutant attacks simply bounce off GDI Armadillos and infantry, the battle ending with a frantically shouted "Cease fire, cease fire!" as the few survivors, stunned by the ferocity of the sally, desperately surrender. Through some clever trickery the view of the attack is returned back to a monitor behind John MacArthur, who then says, "Although the Office of Defense refuses to state how many mutants died in the attack, they have noted that GDI suffered only minimal casualties, none of them serious. The reason behind this mutant attack is unknown, but it's not unreasonable to think that it might be related to the Massacre of New Sparta that happened last month."
W3N News Network "GDI forces have continued to state that Gideon's uprising will not succeed, but we've had some interesting discussion. With us today is our usual pundit, Colonel Nick Seymour "Havoc" Parker. Good to have you with us, Parker." "Thanks, Blair. Now, I think we all know what the topic on hand is: these new Scorpion Tanks. The problem GDI has right now is we rested on our laurels. Yeah, Titans could make that range, but other than that we've generally assumed that cutting up armor like those tanks are was reserved for things like Obelisks of Light. Pretty foolish to do considering that ol' Mitch warned us that the Yellow Zone militias would be employed by Nod, but I guess some politicians just can't stomach sparing some credits to preperation." "How do you see them changing the war, assuming no GDI counter develops?" "Assuming current arsenals, either GDI starts taking heavier losses in tank battles, has to rely on airpower to take out these Scorps, or the Talons need to share Titans with everyone else. See, the Titan was retired for 'cost' reasonings, same BS that cost us the Mark II, but it preforms admirably and its heavy firepower makes it an excellent tank counter. If the Council gets the balls to fund usage of Titans by the rest of GDI, we should be pretty able to handle these Scorpion tanks." "And what about hit and run? For all their power, Titans are notoriously slow..." "The same way we've dealt with it before. Make sure Nod, or in this case, Gideon's egotistically named cult, suffer heavy casualties coming in for the attack and letting them spend fuel running all over the place while we hold the important regions and counterattack when we find their bases. Tactics like that employed by the Talons almost broke Nod enitrely before Boyle cut their funding, even Kane admits that!" "I see. So, onto the constant question, what do you see after this TCN Conflict is over? A continued Alliance; a breakout of war?" "A lot of factors, but especially which of the two powers comes out better. If GDI can take the regions Gideon holds and brings them back to realism and away from more demagouge crap, then GDI would probably win. If Kane comes out with more power and troops, then Kane holds the edge. But, GDI has to keep technology developing. Nod is now able to do research in the open due to the Alliance, including building an airforce equal to that of GDI. GDI needs to push the frontier so that Nod can't keep up; we may be working together, but we all know that when the eventual clash comes, whoever has built up the most needs the advantage." "Well, thank you for your time, Havoc. In other news, astronomers are mystified by a new comet passing by our solar system and T3W's new movie, "Planetary Alignments", discussing the nature of planetary alignment. More on that after the break...."
