Just so you know, the prototype doesn't have legs and only has some odd mobius-like strip around the main superstructure. At any rate, I've consulted with Sayle on the matter and there isn't likely to be any sort of tech to be obtained from it.

However, a minor bonus to weapons or shields is possible.

What does that mean?

Is there a specific planet we have to infiltrate to get it?

The Prototype itself cannot be found, but Del'mak sounds like a good place to start.

Wow, 2 possible ship finds on one planet. Is there a penalty for sending multiple agents like there is with a player?

At some point since I started the game has... changed. The rules flow like molten wax so fast I can't lay a foundation on them and so much as begin to formulate a plan. Some of the modifications are inconvenient but make a certain amount of sense... but others just have me drop my jaw and tilting my head in mixed horror and confusion.

And it isn't even consistent. Even when something good happens, as was the case with Enki's territory, it feels like it shouldn't have. I feel guilty about getting away with something that in no was should have been that easy and cheated by having far more appropriate schemes cut off at the knees by arbitrary declarations of policy. Somehow winning actually feels cheap. I don't know what to make of it or what to do now.

I too have this sense of change in the game. However, this conversation has been rehashed over and over, with many points due to the sake of fairness, where most make sense, and others simply mindnumbingly stupid. Thankfully, since Sayle gave this to Restless and me, we're playing this somewhat by ear. So things should be relatively normal in comparison now.

As I understand it you just run the numbers and work out the fluff. I didn't think you had any control of policy decisions whatsoever.

Could we not use another method? Like, say, contacting the Tok'ra or even SG-1/the Tau'ri, the Tok'ra had their fingers pretty deep in Sokar's Empire, if anyone could get a copy it'd be them, I can't imagine they'd be too opposed to working with minor Goa'uld, especially ones who try and rule more benevolently
