We have swarms of Reapers working as pirates and sabotage agents within our own territory. Terrorists being indoctrinated are not out of the question.

There is a difference between a small group of Reapers attacking outposts, mining depots, and (failing) to sneak into the edge of a system, and a group of Reapers landing on a heavily populated planet and indoctrinating people, and we don't know.

Who said anything about landing? We know that there are devices capable of indoctrinating people, such as Object Rho or some of the other Reaper artifacts you encounter in the main series.

The Terminus systems are still pretty solidly under Reaper Control, remember- it could be as simple as some of those guys shipping in objects and just leaving them around, allowing unsuspecting citizens to get indoctrinated through proximity.

Or, the Reapers could have intercepted civilian ships and indoctrinated the crew from there.

Hmm, that might go it. I would suggest sending the Manticore's in to deal with the terrorists and having XCOM or the SS study this and try to find out how this happened.

What'd be worse is if they WEREN'T indoctrinated, as I'm sure footage of the Reaper Fleets have leaked out by now. What is the point of starting a civil war at a time when our nation will soon be under siege? It's just going to draw resources and troops away from the front lines... Which will be even harder, as our territorial security is already shot to shit, as the Pirate Reapers already have proven.

We need to very carefully consider our next move, as the main fleet should be arriving.

Oh, one thing we should do is send out an automated message torpedo into Sangheli space warning them of what's coming, and what may already be here. Include schematics. If nothing else, the Reapers will attack them, so if they can take some of them out, it can only mean good things for us.

Screw em they didn't believe us the first time and declared us basically heretics, they can "reap" ( Harhar ) what they sow.

My advice, deal with the reaper first. The reaper will focus on the biggest threat they ever faced. You guys, then they can sweep up the rest.

Then fuck Sangheli in the ass once you beat the shit of the reaper.

And I really mean FUCK them. Get it through their skulls not to do stupid shit, stupid shit like terrorists fucking up their only hope of survival if they are not indocterated.

Ok guys, I have this crazy plan for getting Sangheli into the war. It's insane and bound to not work, but here goes.

You remember how we have those two Reaper Destroyers. Well, we reprogram them to attack only Sangheli. Then we let them lose at the boarder. Due to the war we have needed to strip the Boarder Patrol to only a few flights, so as they approach only one is intercepted. The other streaks through and begins to attack Sangheli. Then our ships speed in, destroy it, then flee back out sending a "Your Welcome" message back at them. Hopefully, that would make them get into the war.

Thoughts?

If you get a bad roll, you have fuck yourselves to losing the reapers. The other races will do stupid shit like the terrorist if they are not indoctorated and the Sangheli. Then game over. Too risky.

What about a X-Com or whatever the intelligence agency now calls itself sending sangheli uploads into their territory and conducting a propaganda campaign to spread the info about the Reapers, their MO and demonizing them as much as possible? Not that you need to. Reapers are bad enough you don't need to make stuff up.

Considering they are hardcore fanatics and have already said they dont believe us, at most that would cause them to go to war with us. I can see them attacking us when the Reapers do, if only because they were manipulated for such.

Yeah, we sent them a Prothean and everything, and they just laughed at us. I'm not sure how we could send a "sangeli upload" to them, anyways.

Bluntly speaking, I think we're just gonna have to suck it up and prepare for them to attack us.

So you need to manipulate, assassinate, extort, bribe and blackmail to not fight you.

The leadership and most of the population might be fanatical and you guys very reluctant to use indoctrination on people, but you forget that there existed a art thousands of years old to get people to do what you wanted without opting for outright mind-control.

You have the ability to transfer a digital mind to a bio-construct, perfect stealth ships and teleportation.

Heck, you could if you wanted to assassinate a high ranking official. Digitize their memories and replace him with your own clone that knows everything the target knows if you wanted to.
