Keyword is "decent looking". The only undead that keep that descriptor are certain breeds of vampire, and that's only for purposes of luring in prey.

I dunno, something tells me Kirche might not mind getting in a sarcophagus with Olaf One-Eye or one of the Dragon Priests. Or all of the Dragon Priests.

Kirche: Well, you know what they say about rigormortis-
Louise: SHUT THE HELL UP YOU... YOU... DOUBLE-GERMANIAN!

Canon golems don't use waterstones - Sheffield did have gargoyles that's both Water/Earth elements which is immune to physical attacks (just regenerates all damage) though.

I just realized something. In RL human civilization (sedentary agricultural communities) have been around for over 10,000 years. In Halkeginia, the Brimiric peoples only settled from a nomadic existence 6,000 years ago yet they're already at Late Renaissance in terms non-magical technology.

Wouldn't this speak to some pretty fast technological development?
  5. mdkcde Not good enuff.

They still have 4000 years to got then?

Hmm.. FutureHalkeginia!Saito might actually become viable then.

But don't go spreading that around, it is very amusing to see people like Hymn come here and try to bash the FoZ setting and calling them all things short of Uncivilized Barbarians.
  6. Aaron Peori Custom User Title

Yes. I've mentioned before that since the Birmiric Nations are rebuilding from the stone age after the last windstone disaster they have managed to progress very quickly.

Granted, they do have the Elves to steal ideas from, which may have helped the advance.

The real annoying thing about ZnT is how compelling a setting it could be, if it weren't tied to ridiculous harem anime bullshit stories.
  7. Lifelink Breaking a dragon's heart? That's a paddling.

Deadguy they have magic helping them along the way we did things the good old fashion way until we hit new fashion way.
  8. I don't know Lifelink. The human way of doing things has pretty much always been "Can I eat it? If not then can it help me eat something? If answer is no to both can I kill it?"

We've just gotten better at doing it. That and more creative.
  9. mdkcde Not good enuff.

Yeah, at the end of the day, Magic is a handy shortcut for things that usually require some engineering to work.

    I wonder if Thunderstones exist...
  10. thesevenwielder Pondering...

If the time shenanigans of various summons from our world are anything to go by, they probably got an unfair technological advantage from our world. That and ripping off the aforementioned elves who themselves probably got their technology from us.

OC Exalted gets summoned to the ZnT universe. Shenanigans ensue. Fair warning, this is mostly to get the ZnT setting out of my brain, and give me an outlet for Exalted stuff before I spontaneously combust.

Just to re-iterate, this is an Exalted/ZnT crossover.

    -[***]-

Sunlight and raw power erupted from the summoning circle in a lapping wave that caused a burst of startlement from the assembled classmates and their familiars. A few screams were cut short whenever that radiating wave of sunlight proved to be as harmless as a warm breeze, but it's intensity caused everyone to look away from the source, momentarily blinded.

Louise, scion of the House Valliere, made a quiet sound of surprise in the back of her throat, feet tangling up amongst themselves and causing her to fall back into the soft grass as she threw up her hands to somehow protect her eyes from the sharp glare.

Eyes squinting, Louise tried to pick out the reason for the brilliant display of light, peering between fingers. When she finally saw the source, her breath caught in her throat from surprise.

It was a man, throwing off those waves of sunlight like an ocean lapping up against a shore, spinning around him, wafts of it gaining altitude to give the faint impression of massive, golden wings behind him. He was tall, broad shouldered, skin like burnt caramel and eyes an intense green. His hair was long and bright gold, it's length easily the longest she'd ever seen on a man, almost to his knees, and swept back. A sharp van-dyke beard accentuated his face, and his forehead gleamed with a glowing marking - that of a golden circle, the lower half unilluminated.

Nor was his clothing - armor - anything like Louise had seen. Supple black leather was accentuated at the critical points by what she would have thought was gold, except gold had never glowed with such luminescent intensity or brilliance. The clothing she could see between the coat's opened front was easily a match for any noble's finery.

But despite the power that literally radiated off of him, despite the exquisite finery of his clothing, Louise couldn't help but notice the seeming exhaustion that clung to his features that slowly lifted even as she watched, replaced by one of curious puzzlement.

Shandalar Kerberos stepped forward, ignoring the circle beneath him as he regarded Louise with sharpening interest. "Woman," he spoke, voice deep and gravely, "Do you know the why of my presence here?"

Louise's mouth opened, but no sound came out. After several tries, she finally managed, "I... I summoned you!"

"Summoned? Me?" His lips quirked into an expression of amusement. "For what purpose?"

"The Springtime Summoning Ritual serves to match a mage with a familiar best suited to their aspect and personality." Kerberos glanced aside at the new voice, regarding a balding man whom matched Kerberos' gaze eye for eye.

Kerberos' lips parted as he let out a small chuckle. "I somehow doubt that." He glanced down at Louise. "What is your name, woman?"

"Louise..." Already she was gaining some of her fire back, even in the face of a man whom out-shone the sun. "Louise Francoise le Blanc de la Valliere!"

"Very well then, Louise Francoise le Blanc de la Valliere," Kerberos proclaimed. "If you are the agent responsible for my presence here, then it seems I owe you a debt of gratitude. And let it be known that I, Shandalar Kerberos, Twilight Caste, Solar Exalted of the Unconquered Sun, -always- repays his debts."

"Hee," Louise let out a small, maniacal giggle, brain trying to fathom that a man whom looked like he had stepped straight out of legend proclaiming that she owed -her- a debt.

It was about that point that the cumulative stress of the entire day decided that a nap would be an excellent choice of action, right about then.

    Louise fainted.

Kerberos moved before anyone else had a chance too, checking over Louise with clinical precision that surprised Jean Colbert, being the one with the best advantage to see. "Stress," Kerberos declared, picking Louise up as if she weighed nothing. He glanced at Colbert. "Your name?"

"Jean Colbert," Colbert replied, wondering if perhaps he should argue with the man handling one of his students with such familiarity, before decided that wasn't something to battle over at the moment. "Professor of the Tristanian Acadamy of Magic."

"Well then, Professor Colbert," Kerberos smiled. "Why don't you direct me to your Apothecary, or Medical Ward, so Louise Francoise le Blanc de la Valliere has a chance to recover under the eye of a trained physician. And why don't you follow, so you can answer some questions Louise Francoise le Blanc de la Valliere is unable to at the moment."

Jean Colbert regarded Kerberos, heedless of the display of power. He had seen such in his life time, but never of this type. What it implied, though, was nothing good, and there was a sharp question exactly -how- Louise had summoned someone whom was garbed in a type of armor Colbert had never seen before, never mind that he looked as if he could have stepped from the highest levels of nobility. He nodded. "Follow me, then."

    -[***]-

Colbert was slightly relieved that the overwhelming glow of power had dimmed by the time they arrived at the Medical Ward. Instead of that initial blinding display, Kerberos' aura merely filled the room with a comfortable, warm light.

Ignoring the attending Water Mage, Kerberos set Louise on one of the Ward's beds, and then secured a seat for himself. Colbert said a few words to the woman, giving reassurances before suggesting she give them some privacy. "Now, then," Kerberos regarded Colbert with a sharp gaze. "The Tristanian Acadamy of Magic. It's location?"

Colbert wondered if the man was playing him for a fool. "In the Country of Tristain."

    "Tristain's location?"

"Northern Halkengia, between Gallia and Germania, along the shores of the Northern Sea."

Kerberos closed his eyes, thinking. After a moment, he spoke. "Where does that lay in relationship to the Blessed Isle?"

Colbert frowned. "Blessed Isle? The closest place that would match that description is the Isle of Albion."

"Of course not," Kerberos replied. "It wouldn't be that simple." Standing, he took to pacing out the floor in sharp steps. "You didn't attack me on sight, which means Immaculate Doctrine likely holds no sway here. Your language is unfamiliar to me, though the agency of my arrival seemed fit enough to provide me with a lexicon. Why is that?"

"The ritual is meant to bind a mage with a familiar," Colbert said. "Communication is an important part of that."

"Sub-intelligent species, yes, I see," Kerberos mused. "And you know nothing of Exalts, do you?"

    "No."

"Malfeas and Darkness," Kerberos muttered. He glanced at Colbert. "Show me your magic."

Colbert let out a small sigh. Lifting his wand, he focused his will to produce a ball of flame at it's tip. "The elements of magic fall into four distinct stations," Colbert said, easily falling into his role as a Professor. "Water, Earth, Fire, and Air, with the fifth element, Void, lost to us since the Founder's time. The higher tier of magical capabilities fall within a Noble's ability to manipulate more than one element." He let the fire extinguish. "None of this is familiar to you?"

Kerberos smiled in amusement. "You certainly beleive what you're saying." Ignoring the question, he resumed pacing in thought.

Colbert watched him pace. "Sir, I have answered all your questions to the best of my ability. I beleive it's time you returned the favor."

Kerberos held up a hand. "In a moment. My impromptu savior should be awake soon, and I dislike needlessly repeating myself."

A minute later, Kerberos was proven correct when Louise made a small sound, stirring where she lay. "Professor?" She squinted her eyes blearily. "I had the strangest dream..."

"This is no dream, woman," Kerberos replied, leaning over her. "This is reality."

Louise made a sharp 'EEP!' sound.

Kerberos settled back down in his procured chair. "Now," he stated, steepling his fingers. "It seems I have somewhat of an explanation to give. Just to clarify, neither of you know what Exaltation is, correct?"

Colbert and Louise shook their heads in near-amusing syncronicity.

"Then I'd best begin my explanation with a history lesson," Kerberos said.

    -[***]-

Untold years ago, the Primoridals strode amongst the Wyld, uncharted and unfathomed chaos from which all shaped and unshaped rose from. These Titans, these World-Gods, took it upon themselves to fashion a sanctum where they would not be harassed by the predation of lesser things. And so they fashioned Creation.

But most of these Titans were fickle, and saw little need to maintain thier playground, their Sanctum, and so they fashioned for themselves champions, Gods, and Spirits to protect their new home whilst they wallowed in thier amusements and projects. They fashioned races, entire species willed from the dust, so that they might receive prayers and adulations.

But these World-Gods had fashioned their champions too well. The greatest of these champions, these stewards, whom was named the Unconquered Sun, saw that his protection of Creation could not be achieved whilst these fickle Titans reveled in their amusements. Eventually, a conspiracy formed, between the Unconquered Sun, Luna, his opposite, Gaia, the Titan who's world-body had been utilized to fashion most of Creation, Autochthon, the Titan-Forge, and the Maidens, crafters of Fate and Destiny whom saw all in the turn of the stars.

They turned their eye to one of the lesser races. Humanity, whom was weak, and thus held no geas against attack or harming the Primordials. With the assistance of Autochthon, they fashioned a unique weapon, that would bind with a host and give them abilities beyond possibility. They called this weapon, Exaltation. Each member of the conspiracy had these Exaltations fashioned in their own image; the Unconquered Sun bequeathed to humanity Solars; warriors without peer, crafter gods, diplomats to heaven. Luna empowered Lunars; stewards and protectors of humanity and Creation. The Maidens forsaw Sidereals; Masters of Fate and Stars. Gaia blessed the Dragonblooded, fecund and numerous, whom could spread their seed far and wide.

The Exalted fought. The Exalted won. The conspiracy gave Creation to humanity, in repayment for their service in the Primordial War, whilst they retreated to Yu-Shan, to enjoy the splendor of Heaven and the entertainment of the Games of Divinity. The Exalted turned their eye to Creation, and fashioned a paradise.

But the Dragonblooded grew jealous of the Solars and Lunars. Together with the Sidereals, they sought to overthrow them, and with poison and treachery and knives, they did so. The Solars were banished, the Lunars fled, the Sidereals hid behind their weave of lies, and the Dragonblooded made Creation lesser in their fighting.

But the Wyld had nurtured foes without number, filled with jealousy and hatred toward Creation. They sought to overwhelm it, now, when it lacked it's greatest champions, in conjunction with a horrible plague that struck down every living thing it came in contact with, save a very few; the Great Contaigion. One Dragonblooded took up forgotten, powerful weapons, and threw the Wyld back. She named herself the Scarlet Empress, and with these weapons, stretched out a hand across a savaged Creation, granting some of it her rule both benevolent and cruel.

But the Stars turn, and not all is seen under the eye of Heaven. And as if a great dam had burst, the Solars returned to Creation.

    -[***]-

"That is what I am," Kerberos stated. "But this does not seem to be Creation, and the agency of my transportation to this place is unclear. Further research will be required."

    Silence.

"That... is an incredible story, Mr. Kerberos," Colbert began, before Kerberos interrupted him.

"Kerberos is my given name, Shandalar my family name," Kerberos replied. "In the style of the Realm."

    "Quite," Colbert adjusted his glasses.

"So why were you glowing like that when I summoned you?" Louise spoke up, now curious. "And why has it gone down so much?"

"That was my anima," Kerberos replied. "An iconic representation unique to every Exalt, that occurs whenever I spend essence. Essence," he went on, to forestall any more questions, "Is the unit of power that motivates my abilities."

Louise perked up, eyes brightening. "Does that mean you're powerful?"

Kerberos smiled thinly, but said nothing.

"I am curious, however," Colbert spoke. "You speak as if you can command powerful magics, but your... 'essence' and 'anima', these things, I've never seen before. Just what are you capable of?"

    "Many things."

    "Show me!" Louise demanded.

    "No."

"But you're my familiar! A familiar must do what their Master tells them too!"

Colbert coughed into his fist. "Technically, Louise, you have yet to finish the binding ritual." At Kerberos' sharp glance, he amended hastily, "Something which I do not think would be advisable. Given the... peculiarities of this situation, it might be best if we hold off on certain things, for now."

"But, but, he's my familiar! I summoned him!" Louise swallowed, trying to blink back tears.

"Ignis Divine, what is so remarkable about having a familiar?" Kerberos rolled his eyes heavenward, disgusted. "Is there unseen role I'm not aware of that a familiar plays that's horribly vital?"

Colbert's lips twitched, trying not to smile. "A familiar plays a servant role, procuring magical agents, acting as a protector when able. There is also the matter of status among the Nobles - a more powerful familiar typically represents a Mage's actual or future potential."

Louise glared at Colbert, recalled just whom it was she was glaring at, then glanced away, blushing.

Kerberos snorted. "If that latter statement is fact, then Louise's potential as a mage will be truly terrifying."

    Louise blinked. "Really?"

"I am a Prince of the Earth, woman. A Solar Exalt. Few exceed a Solar's potential."

    "Prince!?" Louise blurted.

"A turn of phrase often used to describe an Exalt," Kerberos replied. "Even Dragonblooded are honored with it, and they are considered by some to be the least of Exalted."

Louise breathed out. "Oh. That's... that's good." She paused. "So... you're not a noble?"

"Define 'nobility'. I have little interest in ruling, so I've never bent my skills to that task."

"Nobles are marked by their ability to utilize magic, Mr. Shandalar," Colbert spoke. "Though there are ranks of lower nobility - and those born into families - whom lack the capability of magic, those are rare." He hesitated. "Germania, for example, has recently taken to allowing titles of nobility to be sold and bought, but such is not the case in Tristain."

"Magic? How very Dragonblooded of you," Kerberos replied. "Tell me, how would one go about verifying one's rank as a noble?"

Colbert blinked. "Uh... Traditionally, one's rank as nobility is acknowledged by their sovereign ruler."

"That would be problematic, wouldn't it?" Kerberos smiled in amusement. Standing, he glanced at Louise. "You've recovered?"

    Louise nodded, suddenly timid.

"Good. It's time you've shown me around your academy." He gestured for Louise to lead. Colbert nodded encouragingly whenever she shot him a momentarily uncertain look, before firming and marching out of the Medical Ward, Kerberos following behind her.

6,000 years by the LN. Anime, I have no clue (wiped my own mind about that garbage, probably). 600 was what Bhepin went with in his ZnT crossover with Evangelion.

And nice snippet about Exalted there. I never did look up Exalted before and this provides a good summary sort of.
  15. What about the Great Curse?
  16. Aaron Peori Custom User Title

That summary in the above is told from an IC viewpoint by a Solar Exalt. He obviously doesn't know about the Great Curse (because canonically exactly two people know and one of those is a person incapable of telling a secret she knows). He also has a very... biased view of the Dragonblooded uprising (no mention of the Solar's living human organ gardens or wiping out entire europe-sized areas in war games...).

So they handed their responsibilities over to their pawns, and lazed in corruption and decadence."

New snip, a Black Rock Shooter one. Not a Paradox snip for those who know about BRS. The BRS Game one

    here it goes

    =================

Before Louise could have time to despair at the explosions that marked her third attempt at the summoning spell, something different happened.

The rest of the class started to say something but Louise could only stare at two blue eyes that glowed through the smoke. They looked in her direction, almost as if it knew who had summoned it and where she was despite the thick blackness. Louise almost felt herself shrinking at the way those eyes simply focused on her.

What kind of creature had she summoned?

The wonder, however, died as the smoke cleared, revealing just what had answered her call.

The rest of the class started to laugh, started to call her and her familiar to be all kind of mocking things. Louise felt anger bubbling inside her but it didn't manage to burn.

Louise had called Zerbst a harlot one too many times, but she hadn't expected her familiar to be one! The black haired familiar wore a black, hooded open jacket that allowed everybody to see the shameful amounts of skin that were barely covered by a small amount of fabric; black underpants and a black brassiere covered her torso, black boots for her feet and black gloves for her hands. There were two small metallic squares hanging from a necklace and there seemed to be two tattoos painted on her torso bellow the ribs. Her long hair was held in two uneven ponytails, making her look unkept despite how clean her clothes and skin looked.

The jeers only got louder and louder as Louise remained in her place, staring at the woman who was supposed to be the best suited to be Louise's familiar. Just what did it mean if such shameful person was supposed to be her Familiar?

Professor Colbert approached her and started to tell her something. That was enough to snap Louise out of her shock and plunge her right into a desperate plea to be allowed to call for a new familiar. Anything but that... that woman!

A vile thought crossed her mind, something dark and twisted that in any other occasion would have sickened her, but the desperation was too much!

He said that the girl had answered the summoning. Louise knew she could call a new familiar if the previous one died.

She never got to really voice her idea before the professor simply turned her around to the black haired girl and Louise's mind changed tracks.

    Were those blue eyes glowing?

She blinked and the illusion vanished.

She took a deep breath and held her head high. She had endured the mockery before, she could do it for a couple more hours. Then she would get the servants to provide her with an appropriated attire for her Familiar. Maybe a male servant's clothes; the black haired girl was even flatter than Louise herself.

She approached her familiar-to-be, ready to tell her about how lucky the girl should feel now that she was going to serve a noble but the words died in her throat.

Those eyes were... scary. She had thought Tabitha to be an emotionless doll plenty of times, but the Galian girl had nothing on this one. The black haired girl was just staring at Louise, not with lifeless eyes exactly, not even Tabitha could do that, but something just as unnerving. It was almost alien...

Louise swallowed what she was going to say and simply approached the taller girl.

She intoned the incantation, made the motions and stood on her toes, ready to finish the ritual. Just as her lips were about to touch the other girl, her cheek exploded in pain. She blinked a couple times, finally realizing she was laying on her side on the ground. Her neck felt as if somebody had tried to tear her head off, a foul metallic taste was quickly filling her mouth, the back of her nose felt stuffed by something and her teeth... she could almost feel as if her tongue could push her teeth away...

She looked around, seeing the black clad girl staring down at Louise, her hand still raised from the slap she had given to the noble girl. Wasn't Louise supposed to be next to her? Her mind couldn't understand at the moment why there was such distance between them...

The professor quickly moved into action, trying to put himself between Louise and the Familiar but the black haired girl ignored him, instead turning towards the white tower at the center of the school. Louise was about to stand up and the professor was saying something when the Familiar “moved”. One moment she was in front of them, the next she was but a black blur that reached the base of the tower. The next instant the blur started to move up! The girl wasn't flying, even from the distance they could see she was running up the tower!

She kept going up and up until she was no longer visible.

She hadn't cast any spell and she held no wand or staff at all so how?

“... her eyes were glowing,” Louise muttered and that was enough to get the professor's attention.

    “Louise, are you okay?”

“Yes... yes I am,” she managed to reply, letting the professor help her to her feet. She swallowed the foul taste in her mouth, not wanting to know what exactly it was.

“What did you say about her eyes?”

“I said... oh Founder, I think I summoned a subhuman,” Louise muttered in realization and the professor looked at her intently. “Her eyes, her eyes glowed but the left one... I think I saw a blue flame coming out of her left eye!”

She noticed the sudden silence and she looked towards the rest of the class that was staring in her direction. They were silent for some reason but in her voice carried in the silence and soon they all started to murmur between themselves. She heard somebody say “she doesn't have elf ears” before a new sound filled the air.

She looked up just in time to see her familiar drop from the sky and land gently on the tip of her foot.

There was a new silence as the black haired girl approached Louise and the pink haired mage unconsciously took a hand to her cheek.

“H-how dare y-you!” she stuttered, trying to put on a brave front but the other girl simply stared her down, almost as if hadn't heard what Louise, the professor, or the rest of the class was saying.

The black haired girl finally stopped a few steps away from Louise. “Where am I?” she asked in a gentle and quiet voice, very much at odds with the cold and threatening presence she carried.

“Tristain,” professor Colbert replied, trying to get the girl's attention but she never took her eyes away from Louise.

    “Where is Tristain?”

    “In the continent of Helkagia.”

“No,” the girl replied and the professor and Louise blinked in confusion. “I mean, what world is this?”

“It's our world?” Louise managed to say but that didn't seem to be the answer the other girl wanted.

“This world is not Earth,” she replied and Louise could hear the capital in there. “You brought me here,” she replied and Louise almost whimpered when those eyes started to glow again.

“That's right, miss Valliere summoned you here to-.”

    “Send me back.”

    “What?”

    “Send me back. Now.”

“You... you-!” Louise tried to be indignant but she couldn't muster the anger against those blue eyes.

“That isn't possible, miss...?” professor Colbert trailed off, expecting the girl to provide her name but she simply ignored him, still focused on Louise.

“Send me back. Now,” she repeated in the same quiet voice and Louise felt a shiver ran up her spine.

“Please, miss, my student didn't intend to summon you here. The Summon Familiar spell can only bring a creature towards the mage, not the other way around.”

There was a moment of silence before Louise saw those blue eyes widening a fraction.

    “Do it again.”

    “Excuse me?”

    “Your spell, use it again.”

    “That's not-.”

“Bring her too,” she said, taking a step closer to Louise. “Now.”

Louise was not intimidated at all. She wasn't. She wasn't at all scared when a blue flame flared from the other girl's eye, focusing on Louise with a frightening intensity despite barely changing her expression at all.

She breathed in relief when professor Colbert stood between them again, this time managing to get the girl's attention. “Maybe we could take this conversation to another place to discuss your unique situation?”

That burning look focused again on Louise again and the pinkette found herself nodding quickly.

The professor sent off the rest of the class so they could get acquainted with their new familiars while Louise, the professor and the black haired girl marched towards the headmaster's office.

“Miss, may we inquire what is your name? I am Jean Colbert, a teacher in this school, and the student who summoned you is Louise de la Vallerie,” the balding man introduced them and Louise saw the taller girl nod minutely.

“I am an ACC, Stella Black,” she replied in a whisper.

Louise noted that Stella had a stylized white star painted on the back of her jacket. She was curious, just what this girl really was, what ACC meant, but maybe the most important question was:

“Who do you want to bring here?” she only realized she had asked that out aloud when the other girl stopped and looked back at Louise over her shoulder.

“My sister, Nana,” she said quietly and when Louise made a little sound of understanding Stella started to walk again.

“Was your sister in danger, miss Stella?” professor Colbert inquired. Louise felt her stomach twisting painfully at the idea of a helpless girl having to fend by herself after Louise took her protector away. She couldn't help thinking about her sweet sister Cattleya...

    “No, she is alone.”

    “What?”

    “She is alone.”

“You... you made such an issue about- what?” Louise could feel her anger starting to build within her once again.

“The planet is almost dead,” Stella said firmly, looking down intently at Louise. “The ecosystem was recovering, but there are no more Humans left, and we killed every single Apostle left. We were the only two sentient beings left on Earth,” Stella patiently explained before turning around, not even waiting for Louise to reply. “If I'm not there, she will be alone. Forever.”

    ========

Nana Grey looked over the remains of the Moon, looking for a hangar. She walked calmly over one of the titanic chains holding one of the bigger pieces of debris to the largest intact piece of the Moon, walking past what had once been defense systems, now nothing but scrap thanks to Stella's rampage.

She finally found the entry and breathed deeply in the artificial oxygen. She hated being in vacuum. Maybe she should use a vacuum suit next time she walked out there.

She made her way to one of the remaining ships that had been used to transport the aliens and powered on the systems she was looking for.

All of the Accelerated Clones had been built with several systems to keep them in contact with the base at every moment, no matter the distance. It also kept track of which ones were still “active” and or if they were destroyed and the manner they had been destroyed.

The computers hadn't recorded anything threatening towards Stella, they just were waiting for an answer from those systems.

Nana had grown cynical after almost thirty years of fighting a losing war, but Stella had managed to give her back some hope in the last couple years. She could believe Stella was alive unless she had her cooling body at her feet.

Once the ship's systems picked up Stella signal, Nana would go looking for her.

Papa Givson made the Accelerated Clones to end the war, and that's just what they had done. Building the world back to its former glory was a job for Humankind, but Humankind was nothing but a memory now. Nana no longer had any need to remain in Earth.

The only thing she wanted to do was looking for her little sister.

    ============

Anyway, the part where Stella slaps Louise away. When she first awakens she blasts away the lid of her container, a large piece of several inches of armored metal, with a single hand while half sleep. She also isn't really used to deal with squishy things like humans so she may have put a bit more strength than what was necessary, even if she was only trying to keep Louise away.

The ending of the Game is sufficiently depressing I couldn't leave one of the sisters alone for the rest of their lives, and considering Nana didn't age at all during 20 years they may live a bit longer than a regular human.
  22. Gore17 Lord of Insanity

Would help if I knew what the hell you are talking about. Why is Humanity dead, what the hell are the Apostles etc? A simple point to an info source would be nice.
  23. mdkcde Not good enuff.

  24. EarthScorpion A Healing-Type Shadow Cabalite

Mmm. More an "EarthScorpion is a bit annoyed at the excessive level of out of character knowledge displayed by that sample Solar, which is frankly beyond that which any Second Age Solar should display, as well as the blatantly pro-Solar slant displayed". But make no doubt. That's more knowledge than even an Occult 5, Lore 5 character should have, without massive levels of research.

Certainly, a newly Exalted Chiaroscuro-born street-rat to give but one example would be a far more interesting summons than Mr Know It All Smugly there. The mortal cultures of Exalted are one of the most interesting things, and, so for example, that aforementioned street rat, who's used to the way that the Delshan nobility act (the men cover up and cover themselves in wealth, the women wear little, and gender is disassociated from sex in that anyone can declare themselves to be one of the opposite gender, as long as they dress and act that proper way), and their clashes with Halkeginian noble culture would be more interesting than being lectured on setting elements that the summons really shouldn't know, not in that detail.

One of the... amusing things is that the Yozis follow Divine Command Theory; they made the world, therefore you should do what they say, or else. You know, that standard theistic position. That's rather less successful in Exalted-proper, where there's an almost-built in tendency for the weak to rise up and overthrow the previous rulers and become strong themselves, and so where Divine Command Theory isn't a religious element because the gods didn't make the world, they just took it from the people who did. However, in Halkeginia... well, basically the Yozis are providing a theological viewpoint close to how Louise sees things anyway.

Also, deredere schoolgirl crushes on the Demon Emperor, Malfeas, King of the Yozis don't help things.
  25. Pheoxy Scatterbrained Dreamer

Yes! A Black Rock Shooter Cross!

    I'M SO HAPPY!

There's hardly any Fan Fiction out on BRS, no idea why either. Its got a great setting and a bit like Evangelion, but there's that awesome difference of her eye on fire.

What Anime or Fiction has there EYE on FIRE!:rage:
