I always forget the small things. Then again, ED-E might've been as confused as the Courier, having never been in a magical land before.

Courier turned Familiar shrugged his shoulders and pointed at where his mouth was. He then shrugged.

I kind of liked the notion that it twists World War II into a bonanza of lolanime, myself. Sort of like how Fate/Stay Night twists Heroic Spirits. Refuge in the absurd and all.

On the subject of magic and elements. I understand that a mage is ranked based on how many elements they can use at once. Dot for one, Line for two, etc and that these elements may be mixed - wind, wind or wind, fire for example.

What i was wondering was this: Do you know if this is actually how many the mage can use or how many the mage can use at one time?

I mean - could they in theory use all four elements, but as a line mage be restricted to using only two at a time? Or would they be limited to only two elements tops as a line mage?

Or is this something simply not covered?

I agree, but they only exist on pixiv. I'd be working with total OCs rather than Mio and characters I actually know well enough to write reliably.

Everyone can fly/levitate in the light novels. If flying/levitation is considered a wind spell, that would mean everyone has at least _some_ ability to use the wind element.

In the anime, there was no class levitation scene. Instead, Guiche was shown to levitate Saito. Again, if levitation is considered a wind spell, then even dot earth mages have some ability to do wind spells.

Chevreuse picked a random student and asked her to transmute rocks into the element of their choice. This would mean that she expected anyone called in that class would be able to do so, including Kirche, Tabitha, Montmorency, and Malcorne (fire, water/wind, water, wind).

hmm? I thought it would be interesting Darth. Oldest Witch around at 30, seems her people were around the area when the Neuroi first attacked and she jumped into the defense of the people despite having so little magic, it seems she took down over 90 neuroi ships on her own during the next decade despite her situation.

And if Milch is her grandfather there's the whole complex thing going on.

Or maybe Lucchini's granddaughter. But yeah, while interesting they are still OC's.

This... could be interesting. Louise summons the Tiger Dojo, which pops up at every Bad End/Dead End and reverses time to the choice that lead her to that ending.

She might possibly wind up breaking the scenario by binding Taiga and bringing her into Halkegania physically, but that would require more plotting than I'm bothering with.

It would be absolute torture for Loise.
