i've been playing a bit too much to much of SW KOTOR (and getting excited about the sequel) in anycase, my question is this. after listening to bastila and meatbag malak jabber on and on about the power of the dark side, i began thinking about what they were saying exactly, about the true power being in the dark....i know it's "the way of things" (at least it seems so from what i've seen/read) that the sith are always 2 in number, and the apprentice, shall we say, out lives the master. my thoughts are this; 1. if the master knows his apprentice will eventually overpower him, why would you train one at all? it's foolish to believe you will outlast him/her forever, even though the sith may be insanely powerful, you would think at least 1 of them wouldn't do it. 2. i know the force is everywhere and all around us, but would the dark side actually have any power if the light side did not exist? (or vice-versa) i thought of this taking into account the jedi council looks for the one who would bring balance to the force (as in they're never looking to wipe out the dark side) and the fact that they don't kill if they have another coice... that's about it... go spidy-2, halo 2, and KOTOR 2: the sith lords
