I guess it all depends on how broken Chrysalis' shapeshifting is, if you're asking about changelings specifically. No clue for other Equestria-based magics.

If Friendship is Magic, and Sufficiently Analyzed Magic is indistinguishable from Science!, and sufficiently rational Science! is indistinguishable from science, then sufficiently rationalized friendship is indistinguishable from Prototype Blacklight.

Chrissy can probably mimic some of the simpler ones, but none of the "wreck everything in the area" stuff. Twilight, on the other hand, could easily clear out whole city blocks if she wanted to.

While that's a great idea, we don't know if Changelings can feed off friendship. While certain friendships can reach the point where 'love' is a good word to describe them, it's uncertain whether that allows friendship as a good food source.

It would be interesting, and we could have Chrissy be mistaken at first for a Zodiart (Specificly the Coma, which can create clones, shapeshift, or use it's hair like whips) or a Worm (Shapeshifting Alien Insect Kaijin from Kamen Rider Kabuto).

...Y'know, an automatic reaction for Twilight upon entering a new dimension could be to cast a shield spell on Chrysalis.

There are *lots* of dimensions which have inhabitants that would just start shooting at her.
