Itg concordance

    I keep seeing people use the term itg in reference to other people but there is no consistence among definitions so I decided to establish this, the first definitive concordance in spacebattles history (to my knowledge) so that we may decide as a group what is the acceptable uses of this term/acronym.

    ITGing is when you take an unreasonably hard-line issue on a policy that you will never have to personally carry out because this is the internet. Like suggesting that all illegal immigrants should be chained into prison battalions.

    It's not as much "try" it's more the slap down for power abuse is not worth it. ;)

    I thought this was a pretty well known definition, haven't seen any other than this one.

    1. Somebody who frequents internet message boards and chat rooms and tries to project an image of being a badass. Typical internet tough guy behavior may include:
    - Claims to be a master of any number of martial arts styles.
    - Claims to be incredibly strong and physically fit.
    - Threatens violence against other message board members or chat room users who anger or annoy him.
    - May claim to an ex-Marine, ex-Special Forces, or gangsta.
    - Makes exaggerated claims about his own sexual prowess and ability to seduce women.

    So next time somebody takes hard stance on illegal immigrants, muslims, etc. he is not ITG! Find a better lolcat or way to ridicule him!

    ITG this and ITG that is getting real annoying. It is like using lolcats because you are to dimwitted for a cool and/or contributing comment.

    ITG seems to have been bastardized from "one who tries very hard to sound like a badass over the internet" to "one who expresses a callous or vindictive attitude about matters that do not directly involve him". I can see where there would be some overlap, but they really are two different things.

    Biohazard=ITG.
