Haven't played her, not likely to pick her up after seeing her. Not my type I guess.

She looks quite amusing - need about 2800 more IP - from what I can tell, this week is full of fail-tards attempting to mid or solo-top with her... and failing miserably.

I predict that many of those people (that never really liked playing supports to begin with) will fill the LoL forums with "Lulu is useless garbage, give me back my RP Riot!"

I picked her up and she's ... okay I guess. I still prefer people who can heal, though. Never been big on shields and she is more of a buffer/CCer than a shield/support type.

Lulu looks amazing. Will probably pick her up after finishing Singed's rune page. Will be the first time playing a support for me.

Been playing several games as Irelia after the nerf. I don't think they nerfed her TOO hard, at least I haven't noticed much of a difference.

I won a game where Lulu was our jungler. She did alright, but she definitely isn't god tier. We had a killzone bot lane with Ashe/Heimer, Morgana mid, and Olaf (me) top. They were Soraka/Sivir on bot, Ryze mid, Jungle Yi, and Garen top. I died quite a lot until the late game rolled around, then I started killing a lot and dying less.

Any time Lulu was around and Yi tried to dive in, she'd turn him into a cupcake and then he died to either me or Ashe. Ashe got rather fed, we all hit full build (I even had all the elixirs), but Yi was just as fed, so it took us over 50 minutes to win.

The cupcakes were just hilarious though. We tended to focus whomever got turned into a cupcake (usually Yi) and eat them alive.

Yeah I couldn't believe they buffed his grab! Crazy. But I play him, so...

Yeah, she's fun, at least in bot games.

I can see where the temptation would be to play her as "AP" but she's a support. Focus on disruption, kind of like Janna.

I picked Lulu up. Having played a few games with her, she is a LOT of fun.

She is VERY toolboxy. Given how a few of her key abilities can be used on teammates or enemies, knowing how to use which when makes a big difference.

Her Whimsy polymorph gets down to a 7.2s cooldown with the build I've been using at max. Her ability to disrupt is hilarious. What is especially fun is when an enemy tries to flee and their teammate tries to hold us back, I Help, Pix! onto the defending teammate and then launch a Glitterlance using them as the starting point to pick up the kill.

I don't really know where she lands in the grand scheme of things, but I'm loving my little Suppordle. Her quotes amuse me as well.

"I recommend skipping."

And now that we have a Yordle holiday starting up, I will probably fill out my Yordle collection.

Heh. Love that one. She also has a LOT of quotes. She has a bunch of extras for Whimsy casts, based on enemy or friendly.

She's just plainly hilarious.

They're getting a lot better with the quotes for situational and spell-casts. *chuckles at "Cuddly incoming"*

I just wish they'd do a little overhaul of some of the older characters. The Zilean-Volibear thing was nice, I'd love more updates like that.

A lot of her regular quotes too like "Too tall...much too tall", "A solid giggle should do the trick", "Never look a tulip in the eye" or "Let's use ALL the colors!" are just amusing. She's so nonsensical.

Oh, and when she casts Whimsy on herself, she actually extends her staff ahead of her and floats as she moves faster under its effects.

Finally hit 30... Time to start actually doing things right.

Yeah, it's different. They change it usually for holiday things. I did like their Christmas music. They do good work with their seasonal adaptations.

Lulu with max CDR is super disruptive, and so much FUN!!
I usually get Morello's Evil Tome and Shurelya Reverie, which puts me at max CDR with my runes. The extra AP doesn't hurt either Then I get standard support items, Aegis, Locket and a situational aura item. Boots are nearly always Sorcs or Mercs.

Ult your bruiser/tank, Pix on your carry, Whimsy on their carry and then sit back and spam lances:drevil:

I just had a nearly all-support team in solo queue and won. Sadly I didn't carry as much as I'd hope as AD Sona, but it was so fun rarely dying thanks to Soraka/Sona heals and Zilean ults and Shen shields.

Picked up Irelia again to check out what the nerfs did, and had maokai call top and instalock and we had no ad carry. So I said 'fuck it' and went bot with soraka.

I was against Teemo and Zilean. The ability to ignore harass entirely was glorious and soon as I got my Sheen, they started dying a lot. Which was good, because our Mao was feeding their Garen. Ended the game 16/8. Prolly could have died less if I went the standard Irelia lolno build instead of ad. However, Annie (who ended 13/14) and Maokai who was like 2/8 and Evelyn were carried by me.

Felt good man.

So i just found the joys of playing support since Sona was free this entire week. I definitely like playing support, it fits my play style I guess. Not having to worry about cs just makes the game....so much more relaxing? lol. On a serious note though, the game I just played right now showed me that supporting is pretty vital in LoL.

This Rammus goes afk without even ganking once and it was a literal 4v5 the rest of the time. My Twitch teammate would have died so many times, but I always managed to keep him just alive so he could eek out those kills. Made him superfed and with a well placed Ult Stun and Shurelia's, he was able to get a penta in no time ez.



I'm definitely thinking of buying Lulu with some ip right now, but I wanna buy Sona too. I think I'll wait till Lulu is free and decide then....or I can buy a bit of rp and get both...

Is she going up for FTP next week?

I honestly don't know...hopefully? Usually new champs go free the week or 2nd week after their release week iirc. Although that's not a 100% rule of thumb.

0/5/37 on first game with her, or rather, first game where I could actually play. My actual first game was awful due to my router fucking up. Having a bad ping is one thing, I can deal with that... but my router was giving me a constantly fluctuating ping. I could rapidly smart-cast two skills in a row - the first would fire off immediately, and the second would have a 1s delay. ugh.
