Well, here it is. Don't mind the lack of anything here, more will be added to this post as time goes on. I'll write down some of the basics first however.

First off, this is a self insert. Considering the state of the Mojave, a few people showing up out of nowhere won't be noticed.
Second, you start off with 150/120/90 experience points (Easy, Normal, Hard respectively) which you can spend on starter equipment and levels.
Third, the game will be split into four actions per turn. The actions will take half an hour each.
    • Battle Mode is separate and will be responded to quickly. The same goes for Chat Mode.
System: At the start of the game you will choose an appearance and allocate your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. points.
    • S.P.E.C.I.A.L: You will assign special points to your character to determine your overall effectiveness. Your base SPECIAL stat is dependent on difficulty.
    • Appearance: You will choose an appearance for your character. Note that appearance will have an effect on encounters with other NPCs. Your charisma has no affect on your appearance and vice-versa.
    • Perks: After you accumulate enough exp, you will gain levels with a perk point every two levels which allow you to choose a perk that will enhance your abilities.
    • Traits: You will be able to choose traits that have certain advantages, but certain disadvantages at the same time.
    • Skills: Repeated action in various areas will increase your skill level with a certain field such as guns, energy weapons, etc. These skills will be factored into various situations.
    • Level: You gain a level for every 25 Experience.
    • Tag: Tag skills increase faster. I roll a d2 normally, and a d4 for tag skills when awarding skill points.
    • Experience: Exp is gained through your achievements an various other factors.
    • Traits: While most traits have both a positive and negative effect, some are entirely negative but give 15 starter exp each. You may choose a maximum of four traits.
    • Difficulty: Easy, Normal, or Hard. This is decided by a vote by the players.
    • Weapon Condition: (COND) Condition is ranked from 1 to 5, 1 being broken and unusable, 4 being mint condition, and 5 being something greater. A condition of 5 only lasts for a relatively few number of shots however.
    • Carry Weight: What you can carry depends on their combined size. You can carry up to a combined size of 20 normally, and 60 with a backpack.
    • Repair:
      • Repair falls into two categories.
        • Quick Repair: Quick repair requires no tools or workbenches and works by reducing the COND of the repair component to 1 and adding it to what you're repairing. This method can only repair up to COND 4.
        • Workshop Repair: Repairing in a workshop requires tools to exist within the workshop and contain a workbench. This method can repair up to COND 5.
      • Required Repair Value = (Weapon's Quality x Weapon's Techlevel) x desired CONDITION
        • In all cases however (except for armour), skill in the respective skill will assist you in the repairs. 25% of your skill level in a particular weapon skill will be added to your repair skill when repairing things of that particular type.

    Alright here I go.

Everything will be, more or less, decided by a d100.

WR - This is the Weapon Rating of whatever weapon you happen to be carrying. It is determined by its Weapon Quality, and its Tech Level.

    Experience store
    SPECIAL Points
    • Each point costs [2] experience points
    • Note that depending on the difficulty setting (hard, normal, easy), all players start with all 2’s, all 3’s, or all 4’s respectively.
    Weapons:
    • Note that only the basic variants are available for purchase.
    • Weapon cost is determined by weapon quality multiplied by its tech level multiplied by 2.
      • Examples
        • Laser Pistol: WQ = 1, TL = 3 ; 1 * 3 * 2 = 6 experience points.
        • Anti-Materiel Rifle: WQ = 5, TL = 3 ; 5 * 3 * 2 = 30 experience points
    Skills
    • You can spend the starter exp on increasing skills at a 1:1 ratio.

  2. Lunaryon Lesbian Catgirl Nurse

Is there a list of skills that I can look at?
  3. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

What do you mean by skills? When I reference skills, I'm talking about Guns, Barter, Sneak, etc.
  4. Twitchy Artemis Between Science & Fiction

    Can I be in this?
  5. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

    Feel free.
  6. Wing101 Bahala Na

I'd like to join my vote for difficulty is normal.
  7. Cloak&Dagger CRY SOME MORE

  8. Jemnite Dark History

Holy Character Creation, Batman! That is a lot of perks and skill to choose from. Curse you indecisiveness, my greatest nemesis!

I'll do it tomorrow. I'm about to go to sleep soon, so yeah.
  9. Wing101 Bahala Na

How much does tag skill cost.
  10. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

    Tag is free.
  11. Wing101 Bahala Na

Okay so the limit should be 3 Tags skill like in your characte creation. So are Traits free to like the light survival kit.
  12. Lunaryon Lesbian Catgirl Nurse

at Normal difficulty, do our skills start at 18? or do we need to buy every single point?
  13. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

Huh, looks like I screwed up the skill points. Hold on, I'll fix it.
  14. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

Traits are free. You can choose up to four traits.
  15. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

    We'll see.

Skills are fixed. Check the example sheet for more precise details.
  16. Cloak&Dagger CRY SOME MORE

Two points to increase a SPECIAL? Why not dump tons of points in it?
  17. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

Because otherwise you have no points for basic weaponry.
  18. is Wild Wasteland an applicable trait?
  19. Cloak&Dagger CRY SOME MORE

    If you say so.
  20. Wing101 Bahala Na

In weapons can we have dual pistols for one weapon slot
  21. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

Do you have any suggestions? The amount of starter exp was a bit arbitrary, I admit.
Dual Pistols count as two weapon slots.
  22. Repost.
  23. Nanao-kun Beauty Queen Etna

    Not anymore.
  24. Jemnite Dark History

Wait, do the + effects come with the weapon, or do we have to buy them separately?
