Indeed. I f5ed a page linking to this site every half hour or so. "This will take a few hours to complete" Uh huh.
  2. Isil`Zha The Divider of Heaven

In other news: Maxed out a few other character's customizations, including ones I didn't even have last week... still nothing more for my Asari Adept....

You should spam more Recruit packs to at least max out your starter gear. They're not bad and really lightweight. I still use my Mantis X with my Infiltrators and my Katana X with my Vanguards.

I just wish it stop giving me so many stupidly heavy guns and give me some of those rare pistols I keep trying for. I want a Carnifex or Paladin, damn it!
  8. Hm. not entirely accurate, its missing some of my weapons, still, its nice to have such a list, its kinda hard to judge when you're using the in game menu options. And...wow..cheat-engine actually works with your profile? Aren't you afraid of getting banned for it? I mean a jump of millions of credits is kinda....notable.

Yknow, I've not really played much over the past few days, did some over the weekend, enough to qualify for my individual operation achievement, dunno if we killed all the necessary Phantoms or not :)

I will say, this weekend I hated playing with vanguards. You don't see them much in PUGs for gold geth, but since I was doing other silver+ missions for Cereberus, I saw more vanguards, sure they can kill stuff, but MAN they fuck up spawns. Half the time enemies were crawling up our asses cause Van-dork triggered a new spawn location.
  9. Tekomandor Asur

Wow. You're upset because you had to react to enemies spawning diffrently. It's not like they were messing up your FBWGG farming run or something.
  10. Erinyes I will never forgive you

It's a legit complaint when you're playing silver or gold. Getting flanked like that can lead to a really bad run really fast.
  11. Isil`Zha The Divider of Heaven

I hit a really weird bug yesterday: I was playing asari Justicar in a PUG. On wave 8 I got downed, and an Atlas (apparently) executed me through the wall... whatever. So the next wave starts... I briefly get thrown back to my character, and then immediately dumped back to spectator mode. The next wave plays through and... doesn't even attempt to revive me, just leaves me in spectator mode.

One of my teammates passes by where I originally died. There, hovering in the air as though nailed to a cross was my Justicar - she stayed like that the rest of the game - with me stuck in spectator mode, never reviving me between waves. At the end it had me marked as dead still.
  12. 13th Fleet Citizen

Well at least it got you being dead right.
  13. Isil`Zha The Divider of Heaven

    I should've revived 3 waves later then. :p

Ok, anyone want to give this poor deprived ps3 player a rundown on the N7 weapons? I'm talking the Valiant, Crusader, Eagle, and Hurricane.

I've just been looking over the stat sheets for em, but it doesn't give me any clue on how they play.
  15. Teen Spirit Clone Murderer

The N7 SMG will climb like it was bitten by a radioactive spider on speed.
  16. Kostamojen Fleet Public Relations

IMO, the Geth Engineer is the best class in the game. Its good at everything, and weak at nothing. Combined with a high level plasma shotgun, its just a fantastic class for plowing through any of the three NPC groups.
  17. Isil`Zha The Divider of Heaven

I feel the same about the Asari adept - easily able to biotic combo against literally any opponent, with consistent damage... can't stasis armored units, but you can still blow them up. :D

The Valiant sniper rifle has a 3 round clip, quick reload, low recoil, and decent damage. It's very effective if you can consistently headshot enemies.

The Crusader shotgun has a 4 round clip. It doesn't fire a burst of shot but rather a single extremely accurate slug. Pinpoint accurate actually, the reticule is basically a + in the middle of your screen that doesn't move. It has fairly heavy recoil and it has some shot penetration by default. It is also very heavy.

The Eagle pistol is full-auto. It has a bit of recoil climb and lots of spare ammo.

The Hurricane SMG is very fast firing and has very high recoil. I haven't really used it much though.

    Interesting.

From this synopsis, My major preferences would be the sniper or shottie, then the SMG, with the pistol in last.

I get plenty of headshots with both Sniper and Shotgun, and with the Shottie I usually use something like the eviscerater/Wraith or Claymore for longest range or kill power at range

I can deal with recoil, so the SMG could be fairly lucrative too.

I guess that makes the eagle the odd one out, as if I'm going to roll a fast firing pistol, i want it to be either accurate or have high rapid fire damage out put. This suggests it doesn't have the output at least.

The sniper very good but its damage is not quite as high as I prefer. Headshots all the way or you might not even bring down gold mooks with bodyshots on one clip. The shotgun seems like it fires a single shot but I believe that it is actually like 3-5 shots clustered so close together it might as well be 1 shot. Big difference on higher levels where each shot get a debuff on armor units.

I believe the Eagle does about the same damage as the default starting predator at level X but it fires much faster. This is it on level one though so it should get better if you can level it up. The Hurricane has high recoil which makes them easier to fire when not zoomed in. The SMG recoil is insane though, I hate firing it out of cover where it gives an accuracy bonus. It eats through the clip in about 5 secs and it is pretty much useless outside of close range and Gold due to the debuff. On the other hand, probably the fastest fire-rate in game and second in damage for SMGs under the hornet. Armor piercing ammo will make it somewhat useful on higher difficulties.

Edit: I also got a similar glitch twice where instead of getting nailed to the wall, I actually got pounded half way into the floor on Firebase Ghost. My poor Asari adept was up to her waist in concrete thanks to a brute. Did not stay dead though game kept allowing me to revive and I could still fire and use biotics. Good thing I was in the landing zone cause we manage a full extract. Second time was on FB White and I got sent partway through one of the walls inside on the stairs. Match ends and I revive and finish falling through the wall and then I fall out of the sky onto the landing pad down but not dead.

On gold the damage loss with Valiant isn't that bad due to the fact that damage doesn't carry through shields. You need multiple shots to kill most everything so its ability for rapid accurate fire makes it great.

I'm pretty sure the Crusader does only fire one shot.
  22. LGear Enter Enter Mission

As said, the Crusader only fires a single slug, which makes it the only shotgun affected by the Shield Gate mechanic.
  23. areoborg Would you like to make a contract?

I wasn't marathon playing multiplayer, but I was playing it more often. Ballistic Blades (with explosive needles) followed by the Batarian Super-Punch makes it seem like punching people causes them to explode. :D
  24. Cpl_Facehugger The Strongest in Gensokyo.

N7 Valiant - As Widow is to Black Widow, Valiant is to Mantis. Seriously, it's basically a Mantis with three round magazine.

N7 Crusader - Imagine a graal spike thrower that doesn't have to charge. It's also accurate enough to pick up slack as a scopeless battle rifle. Fires single slugs though, so it's affected by the stupid shield gate. Also, it's one of the heaviest weapons in the game. I think it *might* have some cover penetrating characteristics ala Widow/Black Widow/Javelin, but I'm not sure.

N7 Eagle - It's basically a fully automatic phalanx. A SMG with pistol statline basically.

N7 Hurricane - Bullet hose. Huge magazine, massive ROF, good damage, pants accuracy, and recoil that makes it rise like nothing else. Might be more useful with Turian soldier + marksman.

So any news on the weekend event prizes? I have a bet going with a friend on how much we overshoot it.
