Got to do a heli assault on an Osprey though, that was cool, but so far noone has shot at me or tried to blow me up. Need moral though, letters, eblueys and boxes of sweets and ice packs wouldnt go amiss if youre up to sending any of them, cause nothing helps your moral like a package or letter from the real world. Got this the other day, by far the quickest Ive ever had a parcel. Most of them seem to take about 4 weeks. Thanks, definate moral boost. XD
Well, thats me, tour done. Back in barracks now, along with about 90% of the battalion. We got fairly lucky as a battalion, it was pretty quite overall. My company's AO was 50% less active than last year, partially because of the work the rifles did over the winter, partially cause of our relationship with the locals. For now, I'm looking forward to leave, and then maybe a change of regiment next year, either that, or hopefully go to Sandhurst.

Lot's of nicknacks to buy on the boardwalk... be careful of your money! Is that where you're staying? Don't forget to try the Mongolian BBQ, if it's anything like Dwyer's it's fucking awesome!
