Isn't young justice ungodly weak compared to the rest of DC? They all seems really under powered, unless there's a comic version, in which case I'm a moron, though DC animated (as you talked about darkseid, and that's his only animated apperance that I know of) could give them a damn good fight, I can just imagine Superman pounding of cevilestia (my nick name for the conversion Bureau Celestia) giving his world of cardboard speech, only this time, the person/pony getting beaten doesn't get back up to counter attack superman.

I heard about that some were before and how everyone would say the ponies were evil if we changed them into elves or furries.

The killing ponies thing is to me (and I'm a brony here, AVE CELESTIA) is completely justified by this, anyone who's first FiM fic is the conversion Bureau I would see why they would think us monsters, and if you put death as worse then baleful polymorph and mind rape, well lets I disagree with you alot there.

Twilight sparkle, one of the strongest magic users both the imperium and Equestira has ever seen, any psyker short of the emperor himself couldn't barley provide a challenge to her, she could easily over magic and culexus assassins anti-magic field, she could flip even Reaver titans around, yet when she was meet with the 150 meters death from the imperator titan, her magic proved to weak to even lower the shields, or even trip this beast, who's legs were larger then ursa minors, her end, and the rest of the first 3 city blocks of Canterlot were all caused by the first shot to piece shining armors shield spell, a shot, from the volcano cannon.

The change isn't what makes the ponies evil to me, but the whole, everything humans have ever done is evil and is worth getting rid of to become ponies.

I'm a big fan of CB stories, and if I had any writing talent I'd want to write one myself.

Isn't that exactly what you just wrote in post 51? I mean, you added the extra detail of murdering morality-shifted doppelgangers of the six main characters, but that's just an ancillary.

There's something that can be salvaged from the premise, otherwise there wouldn't have been the huge explosion of related fics after Blaze started and abandoned his original.

Like, say a melancholy, bittersweet tale of someone who carefully preserved all that he could so that it would survive the transition. However, it would presuppose that the barrier/emergence of Equestria wasn't intentional on Celestia's part.

One of the things that irks me is that every converted pony who kept their mental humanity, except for one is a total monster. After all, the terrorist organization that converts folks unwillingly was founded by a converted pony that kept his human mind.

Well for one, the imperium of man isn't out of character, when have they ever been the pure good guys? They're un-godly vengeful, and this is to avenge the humans, it's more of a ironic story, xenophobes get killed by bigger xenophobes (bigger xenophobes and the bigger empire), its more of a lesson for hatred bread only hatreds, and what better universe to teach it then the one swollen by hate?

Allow me to clarify this fanfic is NOT the reason we get hate. We get hate because just as many people who like the show also think its stupid or wrong to like the show and some develop or troll with a hatred of MLP on the net. On that note I can't help but think TCB is a well deserved counter troll wether it was meant to be or not.

I don't like the fic, but lets have a measure of clarity here. Bronies did not fire the first shot, nor is TCB are any worst than imagining a cute cartoon character being butchered in a meat grinder.

First off I'm all for letting people have their little kinks, I don't go into threads specifically about killing ponies and judge, and only present my views in threads I believe are open to view of both sides. Like say a fanfiction idea thread, or a general thread. Just as I like my little sins as well.

However killing/genociding ponies is just as "bad" as the idea of TCB, prehaps even more so as one is about transformation, and the other brutal murder. You like either of these concepts thats fine, have at it. But don't go acting like one is a fucking normal response to the other. That maybe in some weird reality where for some reason some random person's only exposure is TCB, and so a normal reaction would to be drawing your fanboy favorite characters brutally murdering ponies. Its not normal, its not a measured response, and it certainly did not start happening after TCB.


The history of MLP wars is quite well known on the Net. It did not start because of some nasty rule 34 or TCB. It started the moment people started to embrace FIM.

Well some of the hate does come from this, I have heard of people who's first encounter with MLP:FiM was clop fics, you can tell he's not a brony. If someone found this fic as their first MLP:FiM encounter, and saw how a good chunk of people agree with it, what would you think they would say?

Well in my fic that I plan to write, the imperium isn't the goody good guys who are right, they're just there to give irony for the ponies, think of it like this, the CB ponies thought humans were warlike monsters who killed their own, and were evil to the core, the CB fic, which is set a few years in the future, shows humans as flawed at worst. So what would happen if the ponies were right about humans? What if humans were worse then the devil? What if they literally waged war on everything that didn't go their way? The first group that came to my mind was the imperium, so I gave the imperium a reason that would make them go to war (finding a entire planet of humans were converted would make the imperium got bat-shit insane in trying to murder who-ever did this) and for the purpose of the fic, the emperor was reborn and won a good chunk of the wars. I'm going for extreme irony, you know evil versus evil?

Incorrect. It's not because 'you people' like a cartoon, it's because a -significant- fraction of your fandom vomit it forth everywhere in massive volume, then act persecuted and spam it even more when non-fans complain.

Take SB (especially creative writing) and meme sites for example.

The nature of the the tame pony spam, and the entire ponification meme suggests a campaign of conversion even when you don't take into account BROB threads about humanity getting cutie marks, or outright squick involving equine fetal transformation and giving birth to frakking horses.

'Conversion Bureau' doesn't surprise me in the slightest. It's merely a fantasy about taking the brony shove-it-in-their-faces thing to a new level.

You know, I never got this complaint. I took a look right now, out of 20 fics on the first page, only one is MLP related. Unless there's some magical hour in which the entire first page is dominated by them, I don't think MLP fics are such the big problem people think they are.

Don't take the fic as a example of what all bronies believe, a good chunk of us atleast try to take the lesson to heart. And with all things popular it's going to spread, alot.

Eh, there are a number of MLP stories in CW right now, but that's simply because that is what is popular at the moment. I remember ZNT being rather popular last year myself, and nBSG before that. New things have a increase in content before slowing down here. To say otherwise would be rather silly.

Besides, for every pony story or thread, there are a hundred Star Trek VS Star Wars stories and threads I could dredge up. So no whining!

It's like reading a story in 40k, a really grimdark one, like how the imperium treats it's own people in the under hive or how they interact with a relatively friendly race, only TCB thinks it's moral is true (the second fic I listed in the op has bio-terrorists as the main characters, they're the good guys).

Allow me to sum up my feelings on CB.

Meh, if I ever did a CB revenge fic, I already know how. Baiscally, part way through the conversion of Humanity, Twilight turns against Celestia after some soul searching. But her friends back up Celestia and Twilight vanishes (hiding away from the others while trying to save what she can). Sadly for Equestria, at least one group of human scientists came up with a engineered plague against Ponies that actually feeds on magic. And it's set so that fifty years after the conversion is complete several hidden silos release the missiles carrying it. Magic doesn't cure it, only makes it worse. And the only thing that can stop it is the EoH.

And only Twilight is still connected (to them all). The others had their connections severed due to their support for the CBs. At the end, Celestia and the others are dead, Twilight is now ruling, and she's seeking out a way to bring back humanity...

I got no problems with the Bronies until they throw around the 'Pony Hate' bullshit when someone gets tired of seeing it EVERYWHERE.

This CB sounds like they should get a taste of their own medicine through another race. Isn't Nurgle from WH40K spreading diseases and plagues 'because he loves us'?

The problem however is how in the hell would you find this or clopfics before finding the rest of the fucking fandom? I find it hard to believe that a person can find say this fanfic first and not be away of bronydom. If you have a hater showing this fic to neutral people well that is trolling and I could do the same with the anti-pony brob thread. And if its not that then either someone is lying to jusify there hatred, or was looking for porn in the first place.

Its like going on rule 34 in the first place. Yes you found sick crap there, but then you were looking for it in the first place and like it, because you go on rule 34.

As for your fanfic it hardly matters to me. I was just pointing out the idea that this in some way justifies the hate is totally and in every conceivable way wrong.

I have a TCB idea that is... kinda evil. I have a G1/G4 crossover where Equestria meets Earth, there's all good contact and both sides benefit.

And TCB-Equestria decides to 'expand' to other Earths and conquer them. Bad thing is the next one they choose is from my crossover...

And they open a portal right outside Autobot City, because the Earth in my crossover is known as 'Hasbro Earth;, where G1 My Little Pony, G1 transformers, GI Joe and other Hasbro shows from the 80's all took place.

The climax would involve a certain red tractor trailer barreling down on TCB-Canterlot, canon Celestia on the trailer and both seriously pissed off.

I'm kind of a grimdark fella. I've got a story on my to-do list (once I'm done with my current one) that is basically 'grimdark sea ponies vs. genocidal fish people who want to drown the world'. I wrote a 40k short story for 5th grade English, and I see no problem in rooting for the Imperium. And I fucking hate the Conversion Bureau. There's some stuff that shouldn't go together.

To be fair to him, bronies are everywhere, so he can't really go away to another site since more likely then not, bronies are there too, so imagine if Twilight was everywhere, you don't like the series but everywhere you go it's constantly talked about, it can get overwhelmingly annoying to the person. Of course the pony stuff here is rather rare here, and I haven't seen any places were bronies overrun it with pony pictures (except for the 4chan thing, but the less said about 4chan the better).

Go onto a random forum, or any website, start a 40k thread, then start a pony thread, more likely then not the pony thread will be several times larger then the 40k one. And personal taste matters alot in that argument.

Except as far as I know, the story wasn't made in response to brony hate as far as I know, it was the persons personal fantasy, and would have been made even without anyone complaining about the show.
