" New Orleans service not really familiar with that one. Is that the one where they are all serious for a bit then start to party?"

I count him then reply, "Basically."

"Alright, while you're doing that, I'll try to figure out where the next Element is."

Twilight picks up the black book, running her hoof over the light blue runes on the cover sadly for a moment, before opening it.

I blink for a second as I look at the book. "Twi, was it only your magic that went into that book?"

I count twitchy's character before seeing what everyone else is doing, thinking that if there is one more then there are just barely enough of us for the new set of elements.

"No... Arrelynn's magic went into making it too, that's why the runes on the front are Light Blue like her magic was... but don't worry, I already scanned it for any negative magical effects."

I blink at Twitchy's character (who I admit I forgot the name of), "Your not thinking of trying to get her back with sympathetic magics are you?"

Frosty tilts her head to the side curiously and swallows the last bit of her first muffin, absently tucking the other into her saddlebag as she trots over to Twilight's side. "So what were you fillies enchanting?"

Twilight shakes her head sadly.

"If it were that easy then I already would have mentioned it. Once a mind has been d...destroyed... there's no recovering it..."

"A book that can access all of the books in my Library with ease no matter where you are when you open it."

I sigh, not wanting to give a false hope to Twilight, "I didn't mean you Twilight, I meant the mare who's said she has a portion of Discord's magic, because while it may work, it could end up a Pet Sematary ressurection instead."

"Only negative effects... at that point, would most of her actions been under eris's control, or could she add something to the spell?"

I blink. "No, I'm not planing on that... im thinking about whether or not she would have the opertuinity to make a back up in there."

"Hmm..." Her tail swishes about in agitation. "Is there any chance that horrible witch could use the spell to access your entire library even without the book on hoof, Twilight?"

At that, a truly evil grin crosses my face.

"... I sure hope she did....and I hope its two way."

I sigh, "Check for a mind, then for what human programmers would call a back door, a way to access the book remotely that could of been worked into the spell then please before looking for the Elements of the Mind Twilight. It looks like things aren't going to be that easy for anybody today, I'm going to talk to Pinkie Pie."

I then go to look for Pinkie, but I don't speak to her till I see if she's feeling better.

"It only worked because I gave her the permission to cast the enchantment on the books in my Library, once... and... I'm going to go lay down for a bit, I have a headache..."

I stop before leaving after hearing Twitchy's character, and mutter under my breath "Ugh, I hope she's not planning to make an UBOS out of that book to attack Eris."
EDIT: I then return to the actions of the prior post.

I then sigh, and look out the window, trying to see if anyone is starting to rebuild.

I pick up my book in my mouth and head back inside to check on things. I figure the others have some sort of plan in the works, Nothin' I can any help with but, eh, good to know what they're going to do. I imagine it's going to be something similar to what they'd done on the day I'd slept in, Another Element hunt or some such. On the subject of Memorial or Vengeance, I was feeling pretty vengeful. Given we didn't even have a body or something similarly representative to honor for Arrelynn, I couldn't see a need to waste the time when striking back felt, at least to me, far more meaningful.

I moved quietly back in to the main Library/Living room and found a corner to set down in, listening for any word of a plan for the rest of the day. As much as I would have liked to accumulate some first aid supplies and, potentially gauge the others' knowledge in such things with the intent of equipping everypony in the group to handle medical emergencies, it struck me as a precaution that was liable to be buried under other projects and ideas and never truly develop sufficiently. Thus, I keep my mouth shut.

Frosty takes a deep breath and shakes her head with a sad smile. "This has all been a real piece of work."

She suddenly perks up and begins to look around curiously. "So, does anypony know where Flameout trotted off to? We still have some work to get started on."

I peek out from my corner, hearing mention of my name. I clear my throat and speak blandly, a skeptical look upon my face, "Yes?"

" No clue." Check to see if everypony is finished. Start taking empty plates and bowls to the kitchen.

"Anypony know where the dish detergent is?"

Spike shows you where it is.

She quirks her head curiously at the stallion's reaction and wonders what's got him riled up. "Flying lessons, remember? ... Unless you wanted to stay here and help everypony else that much longer. I'm sure they wouldn't mind the extra hooves." She shrugs casually.

While the others had talked to each other, I fiddled with my weapon and various devices. I was angry and upset because of Arrelynn's death and Eris' taking over her body for whatever use she wanted of it, so I tried to calm myself down by fiddling with and tweaking my inventions as well as replacing charged magic batteries with uncharged ones.

I was also making and discarding plans and designs. Almost all my plans would fail because of too many unknown variables and because of how powerful Discord and Eris was. Just about all my designs failed because they were either over-engineered, not well-designed enough, or because they weren't good enough for the task. But on the other hand, I now knew the reasons for why so many sparks that attempted to carve their own empires in Europa failed and/or died.

A few ideas seemed to be useful enough. I could make weapons for the others to use, but aside from making another HB weapon with a weapon harness, it would be difficult to make a weapon thats ergonomic for ponies without horns. But maybe... That could work...

I begin look around the lab for more straps. Not enough to make another weapon harness, but enough to sufficiently secure a object to someone's head. Enough to make two if need be.

You find Pinkie Pie, and although slightly down, she seems to be feeling quite a bit better.

You manage to find two more sets of straps that look like they will do the job.
