You lay awake in your bed, staring at the ceiling as you have been for the past hour.

An aching headache had been bothering you ever since you had crawled into the sheets but not even the couple of painkillers you swallowed seemed to make the pain recede. Actually, if anything, it felt like the pain was steadily getting worse. Grimacing at the frustration, a gaping feeling of emptiness falls upon you like a icy blanket. You turn over but the feeling only begins to grow.

The time is almost right, Element. They need you.

You shoot up in your bed. That elderly, male voice couldn't have been your imagination. Loud enough to sound as though someone had been standing next to your bed. You groan and double over, placing a hand on your stomach and your forehead. The empty pit in your gut grows hungrily at the voice, like it was beginning to consume you from the inside. You turn you head left and right as the nausea mounts, out the corner of your eye you spot a grandfather clock leaning against the wall.
You don't remember putting one there.
A second later, the arms on the clock meet at the at the peak, twelve o'clock. A few clock-work clicks later and a loud gonging noise echoed throughout your room, drilling into your head.

Follow the call, it shall lead you to me.

For a brief moment the pain in your forehead spikes, your hands reach up to clutch in pain while your grit your teeth. Then with a sharp tug behind your navel, the blackness of your room vanishes.

The Clock and the Mirror is going to be the first RP that I've run and I'm hoping it to be a good one.
The basics is that you are going to be summoned to Equestria. Only instead of being summoned by ponies, you'll be summoned by the Griffon Kingdom as super soldiers in an up-coming war between them and the Equestria. Believed to be an impossible achievement by anyone's standards, the summoning proved possible only by directly harnessing the power of the 'attained' Elements of Harmony.
Naturally, seeing as they summoned Space Battlers, it'll all blow up in their faces.

The Players will all be human and will likely remain that way, Self-Inserts are expected but if people would prefer to play a base-line human character then I have no problem with that. Generally I want this RP to remain fairly light on the grimdark although it will have some pretty bleak themes included.

As for story wise, while I do have a pre-planned story to go on with, if the Players want to go careening off the rails then by all means that's what I'll let them do. Just don't expect the story to leave you alone while doing so!

I can't get image thing to work but I maxed out Twilight Sparkle.

I'd like to thank everyone for their interest in the thread and since we've got something of a large amount of applications I'd like to open up a 6 slot waiting list.
