Hey Soul, If I look for sword could I choose what I want or I'm on the mercy of you and RNG?

Those are some REALLY really pretty blades.....

Personally, my dream blade is the Clamshell Falchion, with more curve, like the Kraken Cutlass has.

Well, Griffin blades are the closest thing you've got and they're usually pretty big in size. They aren't much ones for shields so you're going to be looking at a two-hander or a spear at least.

But, well, I don't see the harm in you picking out the aesthetic appearance of the weapon.

Eh, I'm more of a poleaxe man myself but if I had to choose I'd go with a bastard sword.

I really would want to take Eagle Slasher (It's SCREAMING: "Prince of Persia: Warrior Within dude! TAKE IT NOW!" at me.).
Other than that: 28" Leaf Blade, Clamshell Falchion, or Violin Cutlass.

Cat, if I may make a suggestion? Your powers mean that it is...extremely difficult for you to get tired. or hurt. You are also quite strong. Finesse is not what you should be looking at. I would recommend something a bit heavier. Like a large mace, a war hammer, or a maul. Given your endurance, you could make enemy life miserable with them, and unlike a sword, they are rather all purpose. Armor or no armor, a war hammer will make your life suck.

It's all personal preferences. I'm not a brute force kind of person and prefer something more... elegant than a hammer. That's also reason I most likely won't follow your element knight suggestion about weapon choice.

Your choice. It would be more efficient given your power set and behavior, but it comes down to what you enjoy.

So the shield comes with a free helmet as part of a set or did you mention it so I'd know about a helmet option?

Also, I'm just going to hold off for a few hours so that Unhappy Anchovy can get an response up before continuing for the guys down in the Sky Dancer.

I'm just mentioning the helmet as an option, not as good as the shield. But still... if you can wrangle it you might be able to walk out of there with both. Just because you're not the 'bartering guy' doesn't mean you can't do it at all.

Yes, well three things there, one I might be so bad at it I end up with a higher price if it's a dice roll, two, I get the general idea but I'm not that persuasive when it comes to getting stuff and three, in-character I really just want to get it and go quickly, same idea for talking to Apple Fritter, head over there, find she's hung over or something, get on to Doc Holiday's to meet him.

Honestly? I am terrified about writing for Pinkie Pie, she's character that constantly feels like she's struggling against the writer's pen. Then again, if you feel like you can guess what she's going to do next (as a writer and a player) then you're doing it wrong.

What is this RP's stance on meta-gaming? We've gone with a self-insert idea so far, but a self-insert would be able to recognise Pinkie Pie. Would it be better to assume that MLP:FIM did not exist in our world for the purposes of this RP?

Meta-gaming is frowned upon for as far as the in-character and out-of-character knowledge stands. However, you *know* the MLP:FIM universe about as much as you did when you entered it so if you know who Pinkie Pie is IRL, then that's what you've got.

I wonder how it would have worked if we killed Pinkie Pie right now, too bad we are cautious and not as trigger happy as D&D adventurers.

And how did she lived a week without food, water and WC?

Earth pony endurance as far as you know. Meta-gaming wise, that's pretty much the only thing keeping her together right now.

As for WC? Well, she hadn't spend her all of her time stuck in that room or else everything down there would have been in pieces.

I'll have a new post up tomorrow for the Sky Dancer boys after I do a little research for the RP. Might as well add a bit of realism to it. I'm purposefully hand-waving the whole 'oxygen' thing as being stale but breathable for now.
